Room was cute but there there were black curly hairs all over the bathroom (I'm bald and my girlfriend that joined me is blonde)...coffee maker had old coffee grounds in it and the fridge had old noodles in a Tupperware container. Furnace shook the floor/walls and was very loud. There was an uncomfortable daybed where a couch would have been preferred. Place sure looks cute - great character in the building and the gardens are eclectic and fun looking...poor execution makes this a place I will not revisit, which is unfortunate as it has potential.

Delicious breakfast of quiche & homemade muffins, fruit bowl with kiwi, apple, pear, watermelon, honey dew, banana, & blueberries topped with vanilla yogurt & a touch of granola, and wonderful coffee. A parking lot that is within view of most rooms. Quiet neighborhood close to both downtown CO Springs & Manitu Springs. A wine social to mingle with other guests upon check in. A collection of DVDs to borrow during your stay. Romance packages that include a dozen picture perfect roses, a bottle of champagne, breakfast en suite, and bubble bath. I developed a rash after going here on Saturday - I guess I'm not surprise considering how many people are sitting and peeing in unfiltered water. For what this place charges per person to get in and how crowded it is - there's simply no excuse for dirty water that causes rashes. Lots of reviews about this too ... doesn't seem to be a high priority to owners/operators to either clean their facilities or limit the amount of persons allowed in. Kids under 12 do NOT belong in pools over 100 degrees. The lack of accessible bathrooms probably leads to most people peeing in the water too. This place needs to be tested or comply with basic sanitary practices. You can't have 50-100 people in the same pool with no filtration or chemicals, especially when 1/4 of those people are kids under 12 not wearing swim diapers. Guess we'll not be returning here and are happy there's other hot springs in the vicinity that take cleanliness and sanitation seriously.
