I usually get my hair done in Chinatown, but I was really excited to try out this salon nearby. It was more on the expensive side because of the extensive cut and dye job I got (so you may want to ask for the total price by your hair length and tax in advance) but Larisa is super kind and did a wonderful job! She ordered the blue dye for me, did bleaching the first day and added the color on a second day. It came out great, I'm really happy that the blue is visible but not too bright. Worst haircut ever. I was literally bald when I walked out and didn't know what hit me. She shaved my head! This is a F/k No place!!!

I'm skeptical of getting haircuts in random salons I've never been to because I'm scared they will chop all my hair off. However, Larisa did an amazing job, she was quick and cut off the perfect amount. You can tell she's done this for a really long time and loves what she does. If you're skeptical I'd say give her a chance I doubt she'd disappoint. The salon was small but it is very clean and looks very chic. P.S. I paid $30 for a wash and cut my hair was just under my armpits. I didn't think the pricing was bad just leaving that here since I saw someone write a bad review about their experience with cost being too high for a haircut. Left very disappointed getting a blowout that I could have done better myself at home. I should have flushed my money down the toilet. Atmosphere was awkward and not friendly for someone new at all. With the regulars though, there was a good vibe. I felt invisible. Larissa handed me off to her newbie wash girl Lisa, who was very nice and polite. It was obvious when she started that she is still learning how to blow dry hair. But I knew that this was the risk with a new place so I sucked it up and sat through the excruciatingly long session. Now I have long hair. Her price board says that she charges $25 for a blowout and $35 for a haircut PLUS blowout. You can imagine my shock when I asked her how much and she says $50!!! I was like: excuse me? Are you kidding me? Now I'm no salon amateur. I knew I wouldn't be paying $25 for my long hair, but DOUBLE the listed price???!! She must of thought that I was stupid or naive. I take offense to both. I told her I'm not paying $50. I told her that her board lists $25 and that she should list prices for different lengths of hair. She said she is not allowed to do that. How funny, but she IS allowed to jack up prices at her will?! Ridiculous. Then she rolls her eyes and said fine give me $40. So I gave her $40 and Lisa a $5 tip since it was not her fault. I will never go here again. I like dealing with people who are honest and have some integrity. I ended up giving $45 but it's not about the money. I was also not given a receipt. Larisa SAVED my hair!!!!!! (And my life!!! Lol) This was my first time visiting the salon. My hair was sooo damaged from so much washing during the quarantine, and I had died and cut it myself two months ago... plus old highlights. It looked dead, creepy, INSANELY uneven like you can't imagine, and completely damaged. She just said, I'm going to give you a makeover! I trusted her and let her do her thing.
