I came in about an hour before closing. The ladies were really nice about it and made me their last customer. Tammy who did my pedicure did a great job and she was friendly. They aren't too pricey. You actually get a nice spa pedicure for $20 plus extra if you want designs. The prices for men are tad but more - completely understandable! My only issue is the dog was in it's kennel and you could smell it. I think it may have used the bathroom a few times. Other than that the place is great. read more

I only come here if I don't have another option since there is never a wait. The last time I was in I just wanted a polish change and ended up "upgrading" to gel polish. Oh, beware, they are always trying to get you to do different services. The last two times I had a guy, really didn't get his name since he would spend the entire time trying to get me to get extra services. Well back to my polish change gel color, this lasted all of one week. After that it started peeling up around the edges and well as chipping away slowly but surely. I decided never to get a gel manicure from them when one application came completely off while taking a shower. The work itself wasn't the best and actually compared to other salons in the area it looked like a novice did my nails. Last time I was here, I got just the pedicure, again last minute since other places were booked. Not impressed and a bit disappointed but I had somewhere to go. If you need a stop gap, don't mind being asked to get additional services throughout the entire appointment and mediocre results, this is the best place for you. Unsanitary! I came here on a Friday afternoon for a pedicure and the technician was trying to use some run down, nearly broken emory boards on my feet. I asked her if she could use a fresh one to which she replied "my manager is not here" I asked politely about 4 more times until she walked over to a drawer and got a fresh one. She halfway painted my toes and the coats were sloppy, when I pointed this out to her she just globbed more paint on my toes, and the final result was sloppy...won't be going back read more

This place is GARBAGE. The service sucks and the atmosphere lacks. I am completely dissatisfied with my gel manicure and pedicure. The gel mani is peeling off after 1 day and the nail tech did not do even strokes so it appears bumpy. She did not use any tools that I normally see other salons use. The white color I asked for looks much more like white out than a nail color. It was so horrible that I had to take off the color and repaint my nails myself the next day. My feet and hands did not feel any better than they did when I walked in. Just such a horrible experience. This was my first time at largo nails. It was ok. When I walked in I showed the lady some pictures that I saw from their yelp review page and she pointed out who did them. The nail tech told me to come back and thirty minutes but not to be late because she "wants to go home early" (it was 5:30, they close at 8) I came back 20 minutes later and I picked out my color. I sat in the chair and waited. I went to the lady at booth 7, I showed her some pictures of nails that were done at that salon to verify that she is the one that did them, she said she did so I proceeded to let her do my nails. I told her I like my nails neat, sharp and crispy. She said she got me. While I was in her chair, she didn't talk to me really at all, she asked me how I found the place because she hadn't seen me there before and I told her I found the shop on yelp. She looked at my nails and said $35 for my fill-in. While she was doing my nails, I had to go back a few times and ask her to smooth some nails out, I had to ask her to fix the ones that I didn't like how she shaped and I had to ask to to go back and paint the sides of my nails because she was only painting the surface of the nail. I try not to be picky but I like my nails precise. I felt like she was rushing and I didn't really enjoy getting my nails done there because I had to keep doubling back to check my nails. read more

I went in today to get a pedicure and an acrylic nail fill in. Well the pedicure was quick and definitely not what I was use to getting. The nail fill in was a quickie also. The acrylic was put on too thick, my nails were not smooth like they usually are, the shape was not consistent (I like an oval shape) and I had to tell the tech to smooth my nails out. I will not be going back because I expect to get what I pay for and not be rushed through and given a half a-- job. read more

I would like to echo the comments of the other reviewers. My usual nail salon was very crowded so I came to Largo Nails since it was close to home. They are not focused on customer service here. There is even a dog in the shop that barks at customers when they arrived. The service is fair, and the atmosphere is not very welcoming. A nice lady did my pedicure, but another lady took over the gel manicure and she overcharged by $1. I questioned her about it and she said something nonsensical. I won't go back. read more

I got my toes and pedicure done here which is pretty good I enjoyed it, and they have a lot a good upgrades. I got my nails done from here and it was the worst. Multiple times the lady filed down my real nail bed too far to where it hurt . I was getting a fill-in and now that I've taken off the nails completely I can see exactly where she drilled my nail into a ring. I was really scared the entire time she was doing my nails. This was my first and last visit to this salon. When I entered I asked for price for my nails to be soaked off. They seem to not understand what I was asking by clarifying if I wanted my nails "taken off". I repeated yes, I want them soaked off. I was told the cost was $10 and I said okay. The reason I chose the soaking method was to try and not damage my nails anymore than they already were. The technician pulls out the artificial nails and begins to lift the nails off. I said no, I want them soaked off. That was when I should have known to walk out. She said "yes yes" still $10. At no point did I ask about the price again. After she removed the first nail, I said again, I want them soaked off to which she replied it would take a hour. I said okay, that's fine. The technician moved to the second nail and removed it the same way. When I asked her why, she said it the same price. At the point with two nails removed, I let her finish. My nails were in worse condition. I explained to her, that it's not what I asked for, but I will stay pay for the services, telling myself to never come to this place again. The technician raised her voice saying it's the same price. I'm upset now because I only asked about the price at the beginning to know the cost. She says you can't talk to the manager, she's right there. To my dismay, the manager says it's the same price?!?! I'm like who is talking about price. I told her I requested them to be soaked off and the services are two different techniques. She also tried to argue with me about the cost being the same. There are too many nail salons to choose from in this area for them to ever get my business again. Do not get your eye brows done by the girl with blonde hair. I was in the area (for shopping reasons) and stumbled upon this place. Right away I should've known something was wrong. My eyebrows were fully grown in so the blonde lady had a blank canvas to work with. Instead she made fun of my eyes brows.Then she puts wax on and pulls and says she's done. My left eyebrow was uneven and almost non-exsistant. I literally looked like The Rock walking out. I was so upset. I just paid her and walked out. read more

She then rudely and roughly waxed my eyebrows, charged my card 10 dollars instead of 8 (giving herself a 2 dollar tip without my approval) and worse of all she burned eyelids. My eyelids began to scab over the next day. Two days later, my eyelids were swollen with bumps and puss---I had gotten an infection from going to Largo Nails! I had to go to the doctors and miss work to get a tetanus shot because Largo Nails dirty practices gave me a staff infection! I had to take both topical and oral antibotics---all of this for an eyebrow waxing. When I called to complain, they gave me the run around and said haun, the manager was not there to take my call. One worker actually hung up on me...it's not worth it to go here. Largo nails is a horrible nail salon and I wouldnt recommend anyone go here for any reason!! read more

I have had a horrible experience at this nail salon. I got a gel set and I have been back 5 times to get my nails fix due to them breaking. There have been two occasions were the nail tech took someone that came in after me. I believe she took someone before me because the tip would be less since I was only getting my nail fixed. I just left this place I couldn't even wait until I got home to talk about what horrible service I just received. I walked in and I greeted THEM to get service, they just look at you and wait for you to talk. I was over charged for a filling ($35) i guess she made up a price since the sign says 20 and up an she barely shaped my nails (thank God the last lady I went to did a great square shape) and it's not like my nails are long, I didn't get a cut down or a special shape, so I don't understand how It came up to 35, she didn't give me a hand massage with lotion (so I'm not sure why she even had it on her table) like a normal manicurist. When I got my pedicure she used such a small amount of scrub, barely scrubbed my feet like I usually get with any other pedicure and I had to ASK her to file my toenails she did it with absolutely no effort. She asked me 5 times if I wanted a special pedicure and when I declined for the fifth time She laughed and talked the entire time with her friends, the nail polish was so watered down probably from being stretched I had to ask her to add another coat. I didn't even want to stay for my toes to dry I couldn't wait to leave. Now I see why they have 1.7 stars on google and if I only read these reviews before I went there I would've never stepped foot in there. First, only, and last visit. Came here because didn't have time to get a full pedi just need a quick polish change because I had somewhere to be. From the moment I walked in the technician had an attitude. She proceeds to do my polish change, where she sloppily pants my toes. And I intentionally felt she was making the polish thick so it was running everywhere. I asked if she could fix the polish because there was so much the polish had air bubbles in it. She then just adds more polish. I had finally had enough and asked her to remove the polish from all the toes. At this point I was frustrated. So I they request I pay 5$ I'm over it now so I'm like whatever they then tell me there's a 10$ minimum. Which from the beginning it's far fetched in my mind for me to pay for anything and walk out worse than I came because I at least had some polish on my toes when I walked in now I'm walking out with remnants of this failed attempt at a polish change. I am thankful for the other technician who offered to re paint my toes if I was willing to wait, however I will not be returning. This is exactly why they tell you to stick to what you know. Why can't I find a decent nail shop? I decided to take a chance on this place but it was a big waste of TIME and especially MONEY. My gel maincure came off (completely) after two days. I paid a lot of money for that and it didnt even last a week! They also will not repair them. In addition to my mani-can't, I got a pedicure. When they weren't trying to sell me on extra stuff, they were talking horribly about the condition of my feet and my frugalness. I know what you are going to say. How do you know that they were talking about you? Well, I speak Vietnamese and for the statements that I don't know, google translate, fills in the blanks. I told them in the beginning that I have really bad ezcema and all I need is a basic pedicure, so I can provide my own topical ointment. You trying to sell me products that will probably make my skin worse is not appealing. After countless barrages of tug and war, she finally got the hint. That is when she really started to berate me in vietnamese. To add insult to injury, it's not very sanitary when your pet dog tries to lick your feet from under the table. Heed my advice. I had a gel manicure and pedicure at this salon the evening before I went on a trip to Vegas. My flight departed 5 am the following morning. When I was preparing to go to the airport I noticed one of my gel covered nails chipping. I had to catch my flight so I couldn't go back to the salon to get it repaired. I stayed in Vegas for four days and three nights and in that time my gel polish was almost completely gone from approximately 85% of my nails. I went to the salon when I returned from my trip to see if I could work out a solution with the person who had done my nails. I wanted to have them done again or at least get some of my money back. When I approached the lady who had done my nails about my problem she was initially polite. Unfortunately the polite manner in which she spoke to me changed once she realized she was the person who in fact had done my nails. She told me she couldn't help me and I needed to speak with the owner. She was very rude and was raising her voice while speaking to me. One of the costumers in the salon at that time told me that the lady who had done my nails was in fact the owner of the salon. I asked the nail technician/ owner why would she lie to me and tell to come back another time to speak to the owner when she is the owner? She then said she wasn't going to help me and I should leave the salon. I said whatever happened to costumer service? This was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. I have been getting my nails done for years in different areas because I am originally from Owings Mills Maryland and have never had anyone be so rude. If I ever had a problem with my nails I always have been able to come to a reasonable solution with the salon technician. I will never go back to that place. read more
