Yes! Do it! Authentic Mexican, my husband is Mexican and he loved it; as did I. Good flavor, plethora of selections, attentive staff, quick service, fresh salsa, nice heat... and MARGHARITAS! Stopped by on our way home from Tallahassee. I was a little skeptic since it was kind of in the middle of no where in a small town. However, it was so good. We ordered the street tacos and chimichanga and they were both amazing. They do I have a weird one basket of chip rule but I don't exactly need endless chips. Definitely recommend! read more

Excellent Mexican food! We came one night after a FSU game. I had a chicken burrito and my boyfriend had fajitas. We both were raving about the dishes. I love Mexican food, it's my number one go to meal. Unfortunately this place is as far away from Mexican food as I've ever tasted! Chips were greasy, salsa was watered down and very, very bland. I ordered the Chile Rellenos, a very classic dish which is very hard to mess up. Peppers were nice and hot, but the concoction inside wasn't worthy of my taste buds. They were smothered in a bland enchilada sauce, and topped with a mound of melted cheese fresh out off the microwave! The only thing that tasted somewhat decent was the fresh lettuce and tomato that was served with my meal. I devoured it as it was the only thing I could get down. Guacamole looked appeasing, but fell short with lack of seasoning. I'm giving them 2 stars because the service was decent and they have a full bar. I didn't purchase any drinks with my meal but the guests around me seemed to enjoy the 2 for 1 margaritas. read more

So so at best We went for Dinner.. The place was amazing. We had tacos and fajitas: bland but fresh. Then steak burrito was very good.We also had Grilled Shrimp with vegetables was excellence also. Ice cold draft beer rounds off the meal. Everything was great!! Will be back soon !! read more

Not bad for where it is located. I came to this part of Florida from the Ocala area where The Hacienda on SR-40 is the ultimate. This place ain't that. However, it is clean, the service and staff are friendly, the chips and salsa decent. This last time in was for a quick lunch. The wife went with one of her regular items, the steak chimichanga - no doggie bag means she REALLY liked it! I went with the steak fajita lunch special and it came out sizzling like it's supposed to. Great flavor, lots of onions, steak was tender. My only grips (and this applies to most of the places with fajitas) is that they usually give you 3 small tortillas - and while they are perfect in taste, char and texture - I always wind up with about half of the fajitas left and no tortillas. I know I could ask for some more, and I am sure they would be accommodating, but then I would feel like I was taking advantage. Otherwise, if you are in Quincy and do not want fast food "stuff", this is about your only choice. read more

A Good Find in a Town with Few Choices Quincy is a very pleasant town. There are lots of beautiful, old homes and some nice bed and breakfast facilities. But there isn't a lot in the way of good eating in town. So, being told about Laredo, was a really nice surprise. Laredo is set in a small shopping center with a Piggly-Wiggly. It is nicely decorated and maintained inside. Service is very pleasant. They have a full bar. We enjoyed their 2-for-1 Margaritas which were pretty good and very large. The server recommended the fajitas and he was right. There was lots of excellent flavor. Portions were typically large. I would happily return to Laredo on our next trip through Quincy. read more

Found myself in Quincy Fla.....I am from Atlanta...have tried the gamut in Mexican places. Atmosphere was very nice...very clean...and were no smells...counts for a lot in my book. With the assistance of Yelp was able to find the nice restaurant in Quincy. Good, clean and laid-back dining room. Food was as Mexican as if I was South of the border. Will have to keep this place in mind for the next trip through this area. read more

Do not get off the interstate for this place. We chose it because we love authentic Mexican food and the reviews we read sounded good. It's about 12 minutes into Quincy off of the interstate. It was clean and decorated nice, but the food wasn't good and the service was slow despite there being 4 people standing around. The chips and salsa weren't great, the sweet tea tasted like it was made with gross tap water-it had an after taste. We ordered guacamole and it looked and tasted like it came straight out of a tub from the Piggly Wiggly that this place is next to. The rice was gross and also had a weird after taste, the chicken flautas were just okay. It is probably fine for a local, but I don't recommend you drive off the interstate for it. read more

Wow was this a great surprise! We thought it was just going to be another run-of-the-mill Mexican place, but it is not! Sure, it's in a shopping center across from the piggyly-wiggly, but what a meal. I think this was the best Mexican dinner I've ever had. To be honest, the chips and salsa were just ok. But the menu was comprehensive. All your basic Mexican dishes but so much more. I had the shrimp diablo-perfectly cooked shrimp, in Chipotle sauce, cooked with peppers, onions and squash, over a bed of rice. A TON of shrimp and a modest amount of rice when I'd expected the opposite. My husband had shrimp in a butter garlic sauce that was amazing. Service was friendly and prompt, the place was casual and fun, and the drinks (buy one get one free since it's Wednesday) were huge and excellent. What a find! read more

I had what I think was called shrimp diablo, which was shrimp with a lot of veggies (broc, peppers, onion, squash) in a chipotle sauce with some rice. It was excellent!!
