Don't let the exterior keep you from coming in! We were greeted promptly and brought chips and a very flavorful salsa that has a little heat to it. It is made in house and wonderful! I also ordered the pineapple water, also made in house. This is a must try! My waiter explained things to me very well and I ordered things I don't usually order. I ordered a Gordita de Birria, a pastor tostada and sides of beans and rice. The pastor Tostada was exemplary and the Gordita was so messy good! The plates were reusable plastic and the building was old. But the food was marvelous! The restroom door didn't fully close but it was clean! I will definitely come back.

Our meal started with the best salsa since coming to Florida! So fresh and perfect spice. We ordered the chicken fajitas and they were tender and flavorful. The tortillas melted in my mouth! Yum yum! We will be back!

Las Delicias is located in a strip mall that has definitely seen better days in Quincy, Florida. The inside is rather spartan and was definitely furnished with budget restraints. With that being said, I have always stated that the best Mexican food will be found in these humble, nondescript, hole-in-the-wall type restaurants. My server came over and brought me some chips and salsa. The salsa was very good. For my lunch, I couldn't decide between a California burrito or their birria burrito. So I compromised and got a California burrito along with a birria taco. Both the California burrito and the birria taco were very good. Though sadly, the accompanying green and red sauce were both very bland and lacking any dimension. I would not be surprised if these were bought at a discount in bottles. All In all, this was a good choice for lunch and I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

I like this mom & pop local Mexican restaurant. It is consistent in quality and the staff are very nice. The food makes for big stomach as its large portions. The facility is dated but is expected in that region.

So good! We spent a few years in Southern California and this place is the closest in Florida I've tried. Loved it definitely try if you're in the area!

I ordered the fish tacos. It was so good that I was only able to provide pictures of the aftermath!

The beans refried were delicious, the Mexican rice was very good. I thought that I would be totally unhappy, but was so pleasantly pleased with the flavors of everything. My husband and I both had the lunch fajitas beef which one serving would've been enough for both of us. We actually took home one whole serving it was very good. The meat was good. The onions were just perfect and so were the bell peppers. I ordered a draft Bier thinking that it would be the normal 8 ounce mug when it came, it was like a 16 ounce frozen mug if I had to complain about anything as far as the food it would be the beer. The mug was ice cold but the beer inside was not cold not as cold as we'd like it to be. The service was great. The servers were friendly, so all in all.

I was immediately seated. It wasn't busy at all. The waitress provided a menu and brought over chips and salsa. I placed an order for the Mexican Trio appetizer plate. 3 chicken quesadillas, chicken flautas and steak nachos presented with salad $15.99. I had no idea that the portion would be so much. I ate what I could. Left the steak nachos but I took the chicken quesadillas to go. The sweet tea was good. The customer service was blah. The waitress only came back by once. She spent the rest of the time rolling silverware. I might visit again with Hubby because the restaurant is so colorful and inviting. I did enjoy the music playing.

The food is extremely cheap especially considering the economy but the quality is not compromised. Tacos are $2. The most expensive item is $14.00. My least fave was the chicken taco...the meat was way too dry but everything else was delicious! My fave was the ceviche tostada. The mango ice cream was also refreshing. Things to note: They cater to the Spanish speaking population but there are English speakers. It's Cash Only! It is very casual. Not really ideal for dining in. There are 3 tables. Everything is made in house!

It looked desolate and there was no one inside when I entered. Soon, a young lady came out of the back. I chose a pack of frozen white corn tortillas. There were also some amazing looking warm pastries and I bought a couple of them. I had a turnover that was pineapple and some curled pastry that was also pineapple. I used the tortillas for dinner the next evening and they were delicious! I'll be going back to Quincy to pick up more tortillas and pastries. Then have lunch at Las Delisious and visit the meat market next door.

El Tamaulipeco Mexican Restaurant is pretty much the ultimate definition of a hole-in-the-wall…read more Honestly, pulling in, I thought that it might have been a closed building and even after walking in, I still wasn't certain. The place was a battered looking room with a few tables, but it had a toddler watching "Baby Shark" videos in this otherwise empty room. This was definitely a strange experience and something that would be scripted in a horror movie. It was pretty much that bizarre. A friendly man exited the other building and came in and greeted me warmly. I ended up ordering two tacos and a gordita. He informed me that it was cash only and would be about twenty minutes. Lookin around, this room was spartan. The toddler was intent on the television and every now and then, would join in and sing along with the songs. I looked around the room. There was no bathrooms. They had toys in a corner. With the exception of a few booths and a few other trappings, you would never think that it could be a restaurant or even considered as one. My food came out quicker than the twenty minutes. I paid fir my food and it was pretty cheap. The menu written in the wall dies not have prices, but for the gordita and two tacos, it was just over eight dollars ($8.06 to be exact). I took my meal to go and I have to say that it was pretty good. I preferred the gordita over the tacos, but both were good. This is a hard one to grade. I don't think that I would want to dine in here, but the tacos and gordita were okay. They came with a green salsa and a crema and instead of a napkin, I had a small paper towel thrown in the bag. I guess that I will give it four stars.
