These lovely folks made my Thanksgiving of 2024! Picture it,…read moreBrightwood, Oregon. One stressed out wanna be chef (Me) on the mountain needed a bit of help with a Thanksgiving feast for Kings. Busy Bee Catering swooped in and saved the day with their "Sides-Giving" offerings fit for royalty! Their fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy were divine. Their chicken apple sausage stuffing was a show stopper, as was the relish tray (as big as a trough for my goats), roasted vegetables and Fall harvest salad topped with sinfully delicious candied pecans. I feel like getting married again so Busy Bee Catering can handle the food. Thank you so much! You'll be seeing me and my hungry tummy again SOON!

They were amazing to work with and so calm and wise to keep this MOTG relaxed to enjoy the events. The quotes were more reasonable than others and food/flavor/freshness/presentation not compromised. I had wanted our son to go with the PDX caterer and Jan & Dani were definitely the best choice. You can't go wrong with them. We also used them at Alpine Events for our rehersal dinner with 52 people and the dinner was fabulous and the event space so lovely and personal for our gathering. Jan & Dani even decorated with the runners/candles/banner and flowers that we dropped off while at the rehersal. I can't say enough about them! Janey

"Mad Hatter Catering" provided a great menu selection which exceeded our expectation; appetizers included fresh meats, cheeses, dips and fruits, that were beautifully presented. This was followed by a buffet dinner allowing guest a selection of foods as desired. The end of the ceremony was completed with a beautiful 3 tiered cake. They say the proof of the quality of the food served is in the eating and we received countless positive comments, not only with the food but also being impressed with the food display. Matt and his staff were extremely professional, kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and very easy to deal with. Matt proved to be caring to our needs, proactive, great communicator, easily accessible and provided clear and complete information about the menu. After looking around other catering, we found "Mad Hatter Catering" to be the ideal. He was overwhelmingly recommended by many who used his catering services in the past, and we were confident in his services. He exceeded our expectations and all guests were very impressed with the food quality, taste, and presentation. I highly recommend "Mad Hatter Catering" for your future event! I am sure we will always use his services for all of our future events. Nely Berea

She bent over backwards to help us incorporate all of our preferences, and the food was delicious---everything was perfect. I think Blossoms is the most professional wedding vendor in the Hood River Valley, hands down. I highly recommend them for any event-- you will not be disappointed by their delicious food or great service.

The staff there really worked with us to make sure that all of our needs were met. I was so surprised and pleased to hear that they would pick up napkins (from a separate rental co.) the day before and have them folded prior to the wedding- I had expected that I would be doing that. They also printed up menus with colors of our choice and, upon request, noted vegan and GF options for guests. And the food, oh the food! Guests and vendors alike raved about the food that was served. The variety and quality of the appetizers and sides was amazing. The cedar-plank salmon was cooked perfectly. Guests really enjoyed the family-style service that we opted for. It felt great to be able to supply such a fantastic meal for our friends and family. We really appreciate the amazing crew at Blossoms and highly recommend them!!

We spent the following 2 days on the phone and exchanging emails with so many catering companies that were just disappointments after disappointments. They were often too expensive and/or catered food that didn't feel like us. By the time we had found with CHOMP! I was feeling down, defeated, and I just wanted decent food that wasn't going to break the bank. After speaking with Stephanie, I was starting to feel hopeful again - they created a custom menu that honored our heritage, and they did so at an affordable price. My husband and I come from different cultural backgrounds, and we wanted the food at our wedding to reflect that. He is Irish and Italian and I'm Filipino, so there's not much overlap in dishes, but Chef Paul worked his magic. The starters, main dishes, and sides worked so well together, and our guests absolutely loved it all. They were easy to work with, thoughtful, and responsive to all our requests and questions. For them to take care of us in such short notice was incredible. Thank you, Stephanie and Chef Paul! The food at a wedding is pivotal to the experience, and you guys knocked it out of the park. We literally have a printed copy of the menu in our wedding keepsake box. We are looking forward to any opportunity to work with again in the future.

Overall, the experience was excellent, especially during these trying times. See their Facebook page for their special menu during these times, focusing more on affordable comfort foods. I highly recommend ordering from them, especially if you live towards the south side. Occasionally, they will deliver to the Seattle area. For their events, they make all sorts of foods, many high end; their photos are gorgeous. I pre-coordinated with him on how our family plan to eat the food, and he delivered the foods with just the right amount of "doneness" to allow for re-heating. The foods: A) Seafood Dinner, meant for party of 4, can easily feed 6 This was excellent!! The serving is generous with 4 good size pieces of hazelnut crusted salmon, plenty of blackened shrimps, Caesar salad, lots of roasted veggies, lots of country mashed Yukon potatoes. So fantastic! We ended up eating the salmon with salad, plus some veggies and potatoes. The blackened shrimps became 2 additional entrees. The most exciting flavors are his sauces. The salmon comes with a delicious apricot glaze. The blackened shrimp comes with a blackcurrant cocktail sauce that is insanely good. B) Braised Angus Stroganoff, meant for 4, can easily feed 6, maybe even 8, especially if eaten with additional veggies Sizeable chunks of beef, in fresh noodles and thick cream sauce with mushrooms and peas. This is a hearty, comfort meal. C) Roasted Veggie Quesadilla, meant to be an appetizer, but it'll become 4 dinners! They delivered this uncooked and gave me simple re-heat instructions. There are an incredible amount of veggies in this and customized for me with less cheese (per my request). Excellent and healthy dish. D) Tiramisu, orange creamsicle flavor! He custom created this flavor, orange creamsicle!! It's so yum!! This was a gift to us. Thank you!
