This annual holiday production's is 95% children-led and we were all awestruck by all the talent show. The 65 minute production was just the right amount of time to keep everyone engaged and the small theatre meant there was not a bad seat in the house. The show used a mix of fun props to tell the story and the script was written in a way that would please even the most die-hard Madeline fan. Parking was easy-peasy (it shares a garage with Whole Foods) and we were able to purchase tickets in advance through their online portal (highly recommend, our show was completely sold out!). They offer several classes and camps throughout the year which I'm already looking at for my eldest daughter.

She had taken ballet since age 2.5 and was 4.5 when she joined Mr. Phillip's dance combo class during "bring a friend" week. She loved it and decided to sign up for a summer Hip Hop and Tumble class. At the time, the classes were all online and Mr. Phillip still managed to get to know my daughter personally and push her to grow in her dance and tumbling skills through the screen. Once things opened up post-Covid, we continued to take classes at Perfect Pointe in person. My daughter has loved dancing there and even joined one of the competition teams this year. We find that we are at the dance studio often now. But, we still find time to play soccer, do Girl Scouts, and a few other activities. The staff and families at Perfect Pointe are friendly and encouraging, the choreography and costumes are age appropriate, and the variety of dance styles and teachers keep dance interesting for the kids. Everyone was super great, and they really helped us to feel confident about our wedding dance going into our big day. I honestly don't know what I would have done without their help. Best part is both of us got tons of compliments afterward. Huge shout out to Shawn, who was our private instructor for most of our lessons. He really took the time to tailor the dance to our personalities, and was able to incorporate some fun moves to keep it from being bland and boring. He also went the extra step and helped us with more general moves that we could do when the DJ started playing top 40 and when we go out in general. They also have a great philosophy of teaching you how to dance rather than *a* dance. Instead of choreographing our first dance, they focused on making sure we were comfortable with all the different moves we learned, so that we could sequence them however we wanted. This definitely helped when her dress got in the way a couple times. Instead of worrying about following a routine, we were able to just keep moving without worrying about any specific timing. I also appreciated that they were really great with scheduling and that they don't make you switch partners during beginner lessons, which a lot of other places seem to do.
