Great space for local Algerian folk rock band with space for dancing too
    Prairie S.

In a city full of conformist government bureaucrats or technocrati who are largely left-brained-ruled, it's hard to find locally-grown art, music, dance, and bohemian culture. Enter Creative Cauldron into the culturally-emaciated landscape of Washington DC . How terrific to find this living-room sized, arena stage. The performance space here is intimate, the atmosphere eclectic, and the walls, covered in creations of local artists. The theater is located in a colorless, modern edifice on a backstreet in Falls Church. It's just a block from Pizzeria Orso. The entry lobby has a small bar serving wine/beer. The inner chamber is the theater, with a full set of lights and good acoustic capabilities. (After theater performances Pizzeria Orso is closed, so you have to back to pubs at Broad Street.) The show I saw, of Kamel Zennia and Band (an Algerian folk/rock band) was delightful and allowed space for a bit of dancing in the front of the stage. The audience seats maybe 60 to 70 max? I am reminded of performance-spaces I have been to in the great arts-culture city, Minneapolis, where local talent is showcased to appreciative local audiences. They have a ticket booth on site, but most shows have online ticket sales. I can't wait to go back!

I will admit this theater is not the cheapest, but I was very satisfied with my overall experience. You're able to select your seats ahead of time, and there are two seating options - regular and luxury. I went with the luxury seats because I wanted fully reclining chairs and in seat food service. The luxury seats also have heated and cooled seating, which was a nice touch. The ticket does include an extra charge for the restaurant service, but it was convenient being able to order food directly from my seat. Parking is included with your ticket, just remember to enter the validation code. You get up to 4 hours free in the garage. Service is limited in the garage, but you have about 20 minutes after parking to enter your information for validation. Overall, the food was pretty good, and I would definitely come back to watch another movie here.

There is garage parking and Paragon validates by giving you a code so parking is free. Parking was extremely confusing and frustrating. You scan a QR code and enter your car and parking information to "secure your spot". But it's difficult to access the site while in the garage (you have 20 minutes within arriving to do so). So I suggest taking the elevator upstairs and getting on WiFi to do the parking part. The concession is on the ground level and the theaters are upstairs and no one seemed to be around to direct patrons on check tickets (do what you will with this information, lol). The space itself is decent enough. I didn't have any food so can't comment on that. I don't need to return. Other theaters that serve food and have reclining seats are more convenient.

We really enjoyed our time spent at this circus. This is actually my first time going to a circus…read moreof this nature. I purchased my tickets online. We used the mobile scanning for entry. We actually had very good seats. We paid a little extra for the seating but it was so worth it. We were seated in Row A seat 13 & 14. The event lasted 2 hour's with a thirty minute break. This show was very humorous and quirky. It was a very different kind of circus than what I'm use to. I have been to Barnum Bailey Circus and Universal Soul circus. I loved the costumes and everything. We purchased the typical hotdogs and I purchased an icee. They did have a list of adult beverages. My husband said his beer was refreshing. We even stopped by the gift shop on our way out and made two tee-shirt purchases. They have a variety of gifts from binoculars to bags to you name it they had it. They offered parking across the street but we opted for the parking around the corner which was only about $12.00 for 3 1/2 hour's. Again this was a very enjoyable show with a variety of entertainment. We definitely plan on attending again next year. Oh btw restrooms are all outside with plenty available to use before and after the event. Really cute set up and found them to be clean with plenty of soap available. Also spotted a beer garden tent. Didn't have a chance to stop by but that was pretty cool if you want to hang around after the event.
