Bottom Line, Lapin Services does high quality work with exceptional customer service that is very hard to find these days. I hired Lapin Services to pump out my septic tank. The team was professional and worked late into the day to get my home plumbing up and running again despite a couple setbacks that were not their fault (finding the tank, electrical, etc). Unfortunately in the process of trying to find my tank they cut my gas line by accident. I discovered this the next day when my gas tank emptied and I had a pretty hefty bill from the gas company to repair the line and refill the tank. So, I called Rod Smith, the service manager at Lapin Services to let him know what happened. I fully expecting him to push back or side step the situation like most service providers would do in this situation, but, to my pleasant surprise, Rod took full responsibility, apologized, and began to discuss ways they could make it right. That blew me away. Sadly that type of customer service is hard to find in the world today. To make things right, Rod offered to not only not charge me for the pump out, but he also said he and his team would come back out and take care of a few other items that we had previously discussed like installing a new alarm and adding risers to my tanks, all free of charge. We agreed to that, and sure enough, Rod himself (a 30+ year veteran in the business) along with Steve and Jeremy (also very tenured at Lapin) showed up a couple weeks later and went way above and beyond by installing the risers, alarm, and even a new pump. It is incredibly rare to find that level of customer service and follow through from service company these days. I called Lapin to do a diagnostic on my septic tank, as it turns out my pump was bad (most likely due to improper instillation from another company that won't be named). Jose Martinez came out with his assistant RJ, and after their initial assessment, it was a great experience from there on. The job itself was straight forward in replacing the septic pump, however the work that was done previously was less than sub-par, resulting in me having to request Lapin in the first place; which in turn required more work to be done than expected. Both Jose and Rj went above and beyond with the work they put in and the end result was spectacular. Not only fixing the initial issues at hand but correcting previous ones that most likely caused this whole event in the first place. Originally I was going to just get the replacement pump but Jose convinced me to get the riser for the tank, which in the long run, will alleviate me having to pay an additional digging charge (~$385), in the future should more work need to be done. I was hesitant because we have a lawn care service and kids that cause somewhat regular foot traffic in our back yard, but I gave the go-ahead to install it, and it turned out wonderfully! After the dirt settles in and the grass has been regrown you cannot tell there is a lid under ground, and there is no dip in the ground so there is no tripping hazard. The before and after pictures looked night and day different, it was amazing to see. I am very thankful to both Jose and RJ coming out and giving the best effort for a difficult job. When our septic drain field failed, I got estimates from three local companies. Of the three, I was most impressed with Lapin Services. From their initial site visit right through to the completion of the work, each team that visited my home was prompt, courteous, friendly and professional. They promptly addressed each of my problems or concerns, and finished the entire job on time, and exactly as promised. My contact at Lapin, Carlos Labrador, was knowledgeable and cooperative; and explained each aspect of the work before it began. He answered my calls promptly, or returned my calls within minutes if I'd left a message. The workers used great care when digging around existing irrigation lines and buried electrical conduits; and also removed a fence section and gate with no damage. As I watched the work in progress, they answered my questions and explained the different aspects of the project. They left my new septic field well filled and compacted, and finely leveled and graded to match the surrounding areas. They hand-raked the surface smooth, cleaned the worksite of all debris, and took it with them. Napin warrants their work for ten years, versus the one or two year warranties offered by the other companies I considered. As a retired residential contractor, I've used and dealt with sub-contractors most of my life. Lapin proved themselves to be responsive, honest, reliable, and competent. They did what they said they would do, without complications, added costs, delays or drama. On May 29, 2020 I called Lapin on the recommendation of a neighbor who had used their septic services. I was having continuing problems with my GFI breaker constantly popping for the septic pump. I felt it was time to have a pump out, but also I had previously gone through 3 different pumps in 6 years due to them breaking down. Elton & Mike came promptly as promised and after listening to the history I had over the past 11 years with the system, they got to work investigating everything. They are both extremely helpful, professional and thorough. They pumped out both the tank and pump areas and investigated a potential issue with the float. They felt that was a problem and arranged for one of Lapin's plumbers to come out to check it. Elton pointed out both the covers - for the tank & pump area were worn and allowed dirt to go into the system. The cement tank cover was 40 years old with a half-broken handle and could fall into the tank if not carefully handled. They arranged for two new covers at my request. The Lapin plumber (I apologize I don't have his name) came out and experimented with the position of the float. It wasn't attached properly in the past and he worked on getting the pump humming. The next day 2 employees came and installed the new covers with special risers and covered everything up. This is an extremely professional company with dedicated employees who get the job done. All the employees who worked on my septic system went above and beyond. I have recommended them to others. read more

We found ourselves in need of a new drain field and called several businesses for quotes. One gave us a quote on the phone. One never got back to us. Lapin sent Carlos, a Project Manager, to our home the same day we called. Carlos was thorough, prompt, and professional but not at all high pressure. He gave us a quote that was $1500 less than the over-the-phone company. The next day, we signed a contract and were given a time-table by Carlos of about two months for the work to be permitted and completed. This was followed by a pump-out at no extra charge to keep us in good shape until the work could be performed. The permit was issued less than a month later, and the following day a supervisor, Robert, came to our house to lay out where the drain field would be located. Robert was also very thorough and professional. We were concerned about the possibility of losing a palm tree in our front yard during the process, but Robert assured us that they would protect it. The following Monday, a crew of three obviously very experienced workers arrived (an hour earlier than what we expected) and completed the job from start to finish (including inspection) the same day. AND the palm tree was not damaged. We can't express enough our thanks for the professional, prompt, and efficient work that Lapin performed for us. All of this and at a reasonable price. So, pardon my gushing, but I am in the midst a full fledged grateful glow to Lapin and their staff. This story starts with me calling them (in an admittadly frustrated huff) over a problem I was having with a drain. They had worked on the drain years before, so I wasn't expecting ANY help from them, I just wanted to know the size of the materials they used so I could make an attempt at fixing the problem on my own. Not only did they show general concern for me and my situation, they worked with me to problem solve and sent someone to the property within hours of my call to look at the problem I was having and.... drumroll please... fix it for me. We have been living in our house for 3 years, which has been the first time ever with a septic tank. This January was the first year that the tank got emptied since we moved in the house. We used another septic company in January and then in June the tank started having issues. After contacting the company we used before, which during this call were very rude and unprofessional , we decided to keep looking for a better and we were recomended to call Lapin. We called them to help us because we didn't understand why our septic system was not working properly. When I was having plumbing issues with my house, Lapin Services was the company I went to based on their great reviews. Carlos was my first point of contact and he was amazing from the get-go. Learning that your home requires a brand new drain field is a terrifying thing to hear, but Carlos was extremely helpful, informative, and responsive to all my questions and concerns. The massive flooding from Hurricane Ian caused my septic pump tank to collapse and filled my drain field with sand/dirt. I contacted a few different septic companies to diagnose the issue and quote me for replacement/repair. Carlos Labrador at Lapin was the most helpful and honest person I spoke to regarding the issue. He offered advice and even came by on his day off to assess the situation and help me choose a replacement system. Despite being very busy, and me having so many questions, Carlos was always patient and willing to help. My decision to choose Lapin was most influenced by my interactions with Carlos. Very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. As a bonus, the price quoted by Carlos was less than I expected. When Carlos visited my home he saw that I had many exotic animals housed in enclosures outdoors, so he made sure to notify the installation team that accommodations would need to be made to ensure the animal enclosures were not disturbed. The installation team, lead by Robert Consider, worked carefully to avoid dirt touching any of the enclosures. I was amazed with how carefully they maneuvered the heavy machinery! I had septic issues a couple years ago and had over a handful of companies to come out to help figure out what was wrong. Lapin was the only company that took the time to confirm my drain field wasn't bad and figured out the problem. Everyone else I reached out to just guessed and told me that I needed a new drain field without checking that field. The representatives I worked with at Lapin, Chris, and his managers were able to confirm the real problem was a drainage issue with the tank to the drain field. Although it took some time with parts they were very open with me and repaired my drainage issues. The repair they made it has now helped extend the time we can have between Maintenence pumping. I have had Lapin come out to pump the tank for maintenance a couple times now and the staff has always been very polite and friendly and show me what is going on. I really appreciate this with that known issues with my tank in the past and as only time can tell to see results, I now know after my last Maintenence pumping (last week with Ernesto) that we can wait longer between our maintenance pumping. Our septic system recently showed signs of a possible clog, so I contacted Lapin Services and spoke with Manny. Although I initially asked about a pump-out, Manny carefully listened to the symptoms and advised that inspecting the lines first might avoid unnecessary work and expense. Despite it being a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend, Manny promptly arranged for two plumbers, Antonio and Anthony, to come out. They located long-hidden clean-out valves and, using their experience and advanced equipment, identified and resolved several issues. They clearly explained the options and focused on the most effective and cost-efficient solution. In the end, a septic pump-out was not needed. I was very impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency. I'd like send a shout out to the folks at Lapin Services. I've been using them for a few years now due to some serious issues with my septic system. I have to say all the representatives that answer the phone, come out to the house to drain the septic tanks as well as the one of the supervisors I dealt with frequently (Juan) are incredibly helpful and courteous even on weekends. Additionally, Lapin sent Chris Albury to help diagnose the problem and determine if it was the drain field. He came out and did not leave until he figured out what the issue was. He left after 7:30 PM and explained exactly what needed to be done and prior to leaving my property he set up a follow up appt for the next day. Best word to describe him: fantastic! I've had experiences with many different septic companies during my last 12 years as a homeowner with a septic system. Some were so bad that I dreaded having to call one. My first experience with Lapin surprised me. They were punctual, efficient, and professional. I first used them for a pump drainout, then called them about replacing my aging, broken septic drainfield. The field is in my backyard with a very narrow access point and many other companies I contacted refused to do it at all and balked at the idea that I could find one who would. My wife went to walk our little lily Sunday morning and came back in and told me the septic light and alarm was on. I went out and found all three of out tanks full. the biggest problem was we were to have a large group of people at our house in the afternoon. So, i called Lapin and got this very helpful lady that took down my problem and called another very nice scheduling lady. It took awhile but by 11:45am they had Jeremy at my house ready to pump out. He was very professional and polite. Not only did he pump out the tanks to get me past my up coming issue he also checked the pump and found it was pulling dirt and other things into the pump. He got it working and said someone would be here the next day to block the pump up. I would like to thank Jeremy and the two ladies for caring about my problem and my situation coming up in the afternoon. They are the reason I use Lapin exclusively. Not much worse than the sewer back up. Called Lapin and the next day Vincent Lanclos and another truck showed up right on time ready to fix my problem. It started raining so hard he had to reschedule for the following day. Vincent again showed up right on time and after asking a couple more questions and gave me my options and when I agreed he started right in digging and cutting the pipe to install a cleanout. Once again it started raining buckets and next thing I know his supervisor showed up with a tent to cover the sight so he could keep working. About that time another truck showed up with Jose Martinez. Now there are 3 of them working to fix my problem. The supervisor eventually left and Vincent Lanclos and Jose Martinez worked together like clock work and put my sewer system back in business.
