This Hannaford store was our go-to place for our local grocery shopping. For years it had been a…read moreclean well stocked store on every visit. That all changed during and after the pandemic. It is like they never recovered. The shelves are often empty, especially of sale items. Not just sometimes, almost every day. Recently we stopped four days in one week for a meat sale item and when they had none the management had one excuse after another. It has become so frustrating to shop and not find close to half of the items we're looking for forcing us to shop at another store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy staff is exceptional and is the reason we still buy all of our prescriptions at this store. Basically we now buy almost all of our food at the local PRICE CHOPPER MARKET 32 that has everything we need on every visit at lower prices.

Once it was 9 items that rang up wrong apparently due to computer problems, and I had to go to the courtesy desk to get it straightened out. Again today a coupon did not ring in. I only buy sale items there or items they have good coupons on. I now also check when it is rung up, and I can't help wonder how many people get screwed because they don't check their receipts.

For instance they carry Brigham's ice cream, the only flavor, peppermint stick. I happen to like that type but why buy only one flavor. I've tried finding large cans on albacore solid white tuna and so many other things, that were always there before this group bought the store and can never find them. They really need to take into consideration the people who live here and maybe cater to the people who keep them in business year round!

This makes food shopping so convenient! The pizza is great, the subs are delicious...really everything I've eaten from here has been above average. If you have the opportunity to try the brocolli cheese soup you definitely don't want to pass that up! The meat section is great, hence their slogan "you can't beat our meat!" It is really fresh and much cheaper than some of the other options in the area. The staff is really great and super friendly. Definitely one of my favorite hot spots.
