I am in Scoop Heaven…read more It is right on the road and so many ice cream options to pick from. I dont know which one to pick! We got two waffle cones with 2 different flavors each and it came out to $17 range. It is worth the flavor and experience!

They offer soft serve ice cream and over 20 flavors of Gifford's Hard Ice Cream in cones & cups, sundaes, flurrys, frappes, milk shakes, blizzards, floats, French vanilla iced coffee floats, Gatorade & fruit slushies, and banana splits. Dairy free options are available. Waffle cones are offered too. The ice cream prices before tax (in 2020) are reasonable, Soft Serve/Hard Scoop: Kids ($2.50/$3.00-1 scoop), Small ($3.25/$3.75-2 scoops), Large ($4.25/$4.75-3 scoops). They offer several specialty sundaes ($3.50-$7.50) including: Roady Toasty - Dipped waffle cone, 2 scoops of smores ice cream, marshmallow topping, chocolate sprinkles A River Runs Through It - Fly fish fudge ice cream, hot fudge, caramel, whipped cream and 2 gummy worms The Turtle Shell - Mint chocolate chip ice cream, caramel, whipped cream & peanuts Maple Sundae - choice of soft or hard ice cream topped with maple syrup (Fuller's Sugarhouse), whipped cream, cherry Dish of Dirt - soft serve ice cream, Oreos, hot fudge, gummy worms, chocolate sprinkles The Unicorn - Unicorn ice cream, sugar cone, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles in a dish Brownie Sundae - choice of soft or hard ice cream, 1 brownie, any sundae toppings, whipped cream, 2 cherries Death By Peanut Butter - Peanut butter pie ice cream, peanut butter cups, peanut butter sauce, whipped cream Trying to stay cool on a sunny day, I made a stop at Scoops On Main for some ice cream. I needed something small, but different than the traditional scoop ice cream. I ordered a The Unicorn Kids Size Sundae ($3.50 plus tax), which had Gifford's Unicorn ice cream, a sugar cone horn, whipped cream topped with rainbow sprinkles. This sweet colorful sundae was really good and refreshing to enjoy, especially on an 88 degree day in the North Country. Picnic table seating in front of the shop and parking along side of building and along Main Street.

The place offers outside takeout window service and there is covered picnic table seating nearby in front of the building, parking is a bit tight. For regular foods, they serve up burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken fingers, fried seafood (fish & chips, haddock, scallops, shrimp, whole belly clams), seafood rolls, lobster rolls, fries, onion rings, fried munchies. They also have Veggie Burgers and Impossible Burgers, bottled water, and Pepsi fountain drinks. For ice cream treats, they offer 26 flavors of Gifford's hard scoop ice cream including cones, waffle cones, sundaes, frappes, floats, banana splits (traditional & upside down), and a doggy dish (for the canine). A dish & spoon to go with your cone is $0.25 extra. I stopped for lunch at Triangle Dairy Bar very recently. I ordered the Fried Haddock Sandwich ($8) with Fries (add $2) and Cole Slaw and my food was boxed and ready in 10 minutes after ordering, prompt and friendly service. The portion of food was generous, filling up the square takeout box. The big sandwich had a big piece of fried haddock with a hot & moist texture inside the crispy fried battered coating, topped with leaf lettuce, tomato slices, and big dill pickle slices. The side of golden fries was firm and crisp. The cole slaw (shredded cabbage, carrots, red cabbage) was dense and had a sweet tangy flavor. Tartar sauce and ketchup were provided with my order. After having enough lunch, which was very good, I did not order ice cream for dessert, so perhaps I will on my next visit.

Welcome to North Conway's best yet undiscovered store/ice cream shop that you will also fall in love with, Tricks *AND* Treats! So which door do you enter, the one that has every delicious flavor you could ever want on the left, or the one to the right where Spiderman and Batman greet you in life sized form? I'll take Door #2 please! As you walk in, you will begin to see this store should probably be in Salem, MA and not randomly in the mountains, but that's a good thing. It's full of tchotchkes, a lot of stuff people don't really need but could be a good gag for a day or two. OK, I've looked around several rooms of this museum like Halloween store but it's now time to head over for the real show... But first, take a peek to your right. Do you love epic scenery? Then you've come to the right place for a gazillion dollar view of the mountains. Seriously, take it all in and appreciate it. Ok, let's peek into the ice cre.....WAIT, is that Han Solo?! And a uuhhmm unicorn? This place can give you ADHD but stay on target, as Red 3 used to say. ICE CREAM!! There it is. You heavenly sack of cow momma juice. Which flavor, the one packed with candies or the one that tastes like burnt caramel. Ah hell, let's try both between all of us. I went with a usual cone but the real walk away awesomeness here are the shakes. They are going to cost you more than double and do take almost 10 minutes to make but were super worth it in the end. Instagram influencer I am not so I'm just pointing out that when you see the first 20 something with 20k followers act like they found this place, my review will be on record here that nope, that wasn't them. Hop on your broomsticks and head on over to North Conway for the most magical combination of October and creaminess you could ever imagine.
