I would rather do business with a Taliban black marketeer in the streets of Kabul than with this…read moreridiculous company. I rented a CPAP machine from them and paid all of my share of the copays up front and told them I would take care of supplies myself. As a retired disabled Veteran, I recognize Uncle Sam's contributions to my financial and medical wellfare and did not wish to incur any more charges than was absolutle neccessary. I paid over 500 dollars up front and was told the machine would be mine after so many months. For five hundred some odd dollars, you can buy a CPAP machine on line through CPAP Supply. Not only did they take my money, but they billed Tricare (my military/retireee medical insurance provider) over 80 dollars a month, therby making a hefty profit for themselves at Uncle Sam's expense. They contacted me several times a week to buy supplies for the machine from them-after I had told them several times I will take care of it myself. THEN they had the audacity to send me a bill for several months of rental charges-after I had given them all of what I was quoted as my total rental costs. That was the final straw. I returned the machine and was told I would receive a check for the prorated amount of rental expense I had not yet incurred-over $300 dollars!! Two weeks later-no check. I just called and was told that they 1) only issue checks on Fridays 2) that the insuranc ecompany still needed to be billed (processed they said) -which happens on the 2nd, the day I happened to return the machine and 3) even though the monthly "claim processing" had happened, for "some reason" no check had been cut or sent. I would rather burn shit in a barrel down range on deployment than ever deal with this company again. I want my money, Kennebec Pharmacy!!

Two people were seriously unpleasant. We went there 15 minutes before closing and the pharmacy…read moretechnician that waited on us kept looking at her little clock on the counter. I explained that there were two medications on the prescription and she needed to transfer one of them from another pharmacy. She was not listening and told me it was too late in the day and they were about to close. I asked her to give it to the pharmacist in case he had any questions and I would be in the store for a few minutes. She said, "it's too late, he won't do it until tomorrow." I knew she never heard a word I said. The next day I went back to get the prescription, this time 30 minutes before they closed. I opened the sack to find they filled the wrong one. I told the nice lady that waited on me and the pharmacist heard me and blew a head gasket and came charging around to the counter and moved the little lady out of the way and took money out of the register and gave it to me. He told us he could not transfer a prescription because of New Hampshire state law. It would have to be a new prescription from the Dr. They already had the doctor info because of the information we had just given them the night before. He called a different doctor rather than the specialist. the other doctor's records were from several months prior so he prescribed the medication for one a day while the specialist had prescribed two per day for several months. When the medication had run out we went in to get a refill and found they used the prescription from the wrong doctor. We call the doctor and asked to send in a prescription. We checked later that day and the pharmacy said they never received it. The following day we called again, still no prescription. We called the third day and they still never had a prescription. At that point we called the doctor and they said they sent the prescription in the day i called them. I called Walmart Pharmacy again. They said "We don't have it." I told them the doctor sent it in the day I called. They checked again and found they had it. Then they told me they could not fill it because the first prescription was only for one a day. So now there is no medication for the remainder of the month because of their mess-up. This is very dangerous for a diabetic to be without a prescription because of the failures of the pharmacy. We will never go back to Walmart Pharmacy in Gorham. Our health is too important to have someone that doesn't care.

I Cannot believe a pharmacy would be closed on a weekend!…read moreHere's a flash for any Seniors that are diabetic and use Freestyle Libre 2. For 6 MONTHS my Drs office has been "trying" to get it approved from Medicare and they kept saying they would not approve it as a D prescription. It is a B under medical. So the Drs Office was stupid.. I have a supplement and Walgreen kept dening it. Today I took 10 minutes and got through to Medicare and they were kind and helpful and here's the deal...Walgreens does not bill Medicare. Medicare suggest CVS. I am not near one here but they are in Auburn, Augusta, Waterville, and Portland. I will be changing all my perscriptions to CVS and drive the hour to get it. SO NOT HELPFUL.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I have used this pharmacy in the past and haven't really had…read moreany problems until recently. I live over an hour away and this is the CLOSEST pharmacy to me. So anytime I need medication, it is a pain to drive down, but it's the only option. There are other pharmacies near this one, but I needed a certain medication that only this pharmacy had at the time. They didn't have enough to fill my entire prescription, so they were only able to partially fill my prescription. I had enough to get through about 5 days but needed to return for the rest. I tested positive for mono, tonsilitis, and strep throat, so making sure I can take my prescription on time every single day is essential to my recovery! Well, I'm here to tell you, the people in this store do NOT care about you or your wellbeing. I'm just now feeling well enough to return to work, and don't want to miss any more time, so I planned on making a trip down on the weekend. Well guess what?! The pharmacy wasn't open! Tried again on Sunday! Still not open!!! They claim it's because they can't find a pharmacist to come in and work. I get it, people don't wanna work right now, with covid still going on, and I get that some people don't like working weekends, but you are messing with people's health by not having someone there! And causing unnecessary stress! The last time I was in this pharmacy they had at least 5 people working in the pharmacy. So, you're telling me you can have 5 people working during the week when it's not busy but can't even get ONE person to work during the weekend. Now I've had to skip doses of my medication because I ran out. The last thing I want is to get sick AGAIN, all because you can't find employees to work during the weekend. Thankfully I was able to find someone who could pick up my medication for me during the week while I was working. Get your shit together Walgreens. Maybe hire some people that know how to do their damn job. (I would have tried a different pharmacy, but since this useless place had already filled part of my prescription, I couldn't go anywhere else, I tried. Even went as far as calling my doctor to have my script sent to a different pharmacy and it couldn't be done) On top of all of this, the last time I was at this pharmacy, I had to wait OVER AN HOUR to get my prescription. This place is so useless. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Don't waste your time. And if you're like me and have to travel, add the extra 5 minutes and head to Walmart pharmacy, or Mt. Blue Drug.
