This is such a cute homey place. Yes it is touristy, but hey that's what I am and it does have a…read morelot of local Swedes as well. As I am a tourist, I got that crazy milkshake with a cinnamon bun on top of it just for good measure of course. The cinnamon buns in Sweden are obviously exceptional as they originated from there- crunchy on the outside and warm, melted, soft cinnamon goodness on the inside. The waffles are delicious as well, regardless of which waffle you get. All in all, this is a great place to go to if you're visiting Stockholm!

I'm not sure what Swedish waffles and 1950s diners have in common, but this place makes it work for sure. We came in on a Sunday morning, and were able to get seated right away. My cousin and I both had the raspberry waffle with whipped cream (75 sek, approx $8USD.). The waffle was perfectly crispy and the jam was delicious, but it wasn't a particularly filling for the price, really just a treat. They had fancier offerings as well, for a bit more money, as well as savory combinations. I overheard from a neighboring table that you can order a waffle with both whipped cream and ice cream. Where was this information when I was ordering? Oh well, next time. I would visit Älskade Traditioner again, but perhaps only for dessert. Alternatively I may try one of their savory options for a full meal.

This place was decent. They are located inside of Hornstull's tunnelban and specialize in wraps…read more The wrap I got was a weekly special: BBQ chicken and curry sauce of something like that--it was good. The food was made in front of me quickly. This place is definitely a great lunch alternative.

Not bad at all. I came here DYING for food and while the portion didn't leave me 100% full, I was…read moredefinitely satisfied for 80kr. Even better, I felt light and energetic despite eating a BBQ Beef wrap. The ingredients tasted and looked fresh. The guy working there told me they get their beef from Australia and they used to get their chicken from Sweden but he wasn't sure anymore as the prices went up. Anyways, I liked two non-standard items they used in the BBQ Beef Wrap: Crispy Onions and Mashed Potatoes. Of course it makes sense in hindsight, as those are often sides with a BBQ Beef plate, but I had not seen that combination before. And oh, it was dreamy to be re-united with BBQ sauce. I'm not sure I've had it in Sweden. It's just a small little take-out/quick eats place in Hornstull T-Bana but it had a little bit of character to it as well. One half looks very modern, but where the eating bar is there are wooden planks lining the walls and old tractor seats for a stool (which were very comfortable). And this is the first place in Sweden where I have heard country music being played! Well, I only heard 1 song, but judging by the roadhouse hints they were using for decor, I bet there is more than 1 on the playlist. Even though it's sort of a chain, there are only 3 of them and it's privately owned. I'm not usually a fan of wrap places because I always feel like I'm getting ripped off -- some lettuce, cheese and tomatoes in a wrap for the price of something of value... But here, I was definitely satisfied and I can say that I would come back again and also lend you my recommendation to stop in! It's a good place to grab something vaguely healthy for a reasonable price, especially if you're on your own and just want something quick or even to bring over to Tantolunden for a picnic! They also won an award from Arla and for some reason I really trust Arla. Even though they probably just won it because they agreed to use Arla products... Nevermind that...
