IMPOSSIBLE RAINBOW BURGER ENTERED THE ROOM and we stopped scrolling Not only did they have a plant based burger but they had SOOOOO MANY plant based options that it was almost too good to be true. The staff seemed nice enough here - the security guard obviously didn't as he was walking around the store, doing his best to intimidate people who were just queuing up and ordering and even eating - I felt like saying to him "Come on mate it's 11 am how about you do your job rather than trying to intimidate people?", he ended up following me in and out of the store too after I left quite quickly mainly down to the fact I didn't realise they stopped breakfast almost straight away - it seems as soon as it gets to 10:30 they swap over straight away without looking back, possibly even slightly before. There was a decent amount of seating but I do think the store when busy could get rather messy. A typical branch of McDonald's - clean enough due to it being early on in the morning and in a good location but nothing remotely impressive to draw to my attention - a worse selection of drinks in stock compared to other stores was a bummer too.

Günter's has a wide variety of sausages, which are served on baguettes with chimichurri, sauerkraut, hojhoj sauce (a slightly spicy sauce), and mustard. Rather than cut the baguette in half, they drill a hole in the middle, and then fill it with the sausage and toppings, which makes for a neat eating experience without condiments dripping out of the side of the bun. All of the ingredients seem to be high quality, and the chimichurri is an amazing compliment to the sausage. (I always get the sausage with everything, but the chimichurri stands out.) I've been to Günter's at least four times over multiple trips to Stockholm. I've liked everything I've eaten there, but I don't have a standard sausage I order. The whole atmosphere is very "chic Scandinavian" and very enjoyable! This is a chain that comes from Denmark. There are several locations in Stockholm. I just saw that they are also opening one up now in my hood, NYC! The look of the place doesn't exactly show the fresh and healthy aspects of the business up front, but when you look over the menu you will get an idea of how healthy and fresh everything really is. I usually go with the simple and elegant "Pick Me Up" that consists of raspberries, bananas and apple. It's delicious! One of my favorite smoothies in the city. It's pretty healthy, but it doesn't taste too healthy, ya know!? ;) I also love their "Avocado Pesto Mozzarella and Tomato" sandwich. I'm usually not much for hard-bread, but this sandwich is just soft enough and the flavor is awesome! Unlike a lot of places you can get a juice or smoothie in Stockholm, this place makes all it's juice and food fresh to order. Which, is truly great! If you know anything about fresh smoothie making or juicing, you know that you should consume it right after making it to receive all the health benefits. Picking it up a couple hours later out of a refrigerated case is just asinine. I also love that here my sandwich hasn't been sitting around getting soggy either. Big plus! They had a few comfy tables, an outlet for my laptop and it wasn't pact full of people--unlike at the espresso house around the corner. I think people forget that this place has coffee too!
