Actually decent for what it was. Our group had been told about this place at the beginning of a tour, saying it's like Swedish McDonald's. If Max was in the US, I would like it 5000x more than the Golden Arches. I liked all of the options, but what really got me was the milkshakes. They were actually thick, not some watered down, runny garbage. So thick I couldn't finish mine. We also tried some spicy nuggets, but had several different types of sauce. Again, no gourmet here, but better fast food than I had had in a while.

Very good fast food joint! Interior: Lots of security actually which is smart to sort of control the area since at night time it's filled with not so sober people lol Food: Good for a fast food place of course! Love the fries! Overall: Definitely will become a late night eatery for some crispy fries and good sauce selections!

A great value for money if you are hungry and looking for a quick fix. Except for coffee, I'd say better than McDonalds. The order process is really quick - you order at one of the cashless express tills or you could pay old fashioned way at the till. When your order number shows up time for you to enjoye there meal. Try Bearnaise sauce, it's awesome!! Only one toilet though, which might be a problem on a busy day!

Swedish McDonalds! But so much better. There are screens where you can order and customize your food. There are lots of options for both burgers and sides. There's even a protein style (i.e. lettuce wrap) burger options. The bun is so much better than American fastfood burger places.

The spicy chicken burger is good but I am a bit disappointed with the bun. They have a wide selection of dips.

I decided to go here for lunch based on my Yelp search. We came in a little before they opened and…read moresat outside. There were two other families waiting already. Once they were open, it took a long time between us being given menus to finally getting our food- 50 minutes. They should've given us our side while we were waiting for the board. We ordered a side of salami and Swedish cheese and the hairy pig board. I enjoyed the side, but the board not so much. The board consisted of wild boar sausage with broche bun, wild boar taco, peppercorn fries, and wild boar lasagna. The board was quite heavy and salty. I didn't have enough stomach space to even try the taco. I did enjoy the fries, but it's not enough for me to want to return.

When staying next to Gamla Stan we read that this was a place not to be missed..only it was so easy…read moreto miss and we had to give a pretty good search before finally locating it. This place is tucked below street level and is very intimate and downright cozy with its low beam wood ceiling, wood tables in every cranny it can fit to accommodate guests, and a tiny little bar. You can find this place outside by the wooden sign with the boar on it, then simply peer down into the low window and if you see a hairy pig nomming on a sausage, congratulations! You're in the right place. We stopped in not long before closing time and that was probably the only reason we were able to get a much coveted table. The barkeep was nice and let us put in a quick order while also getting us drinks. Unfortunately for me, there were not very many gluten free tapa options on the menu, but there were a few naturally gf. The salami and sausages were thought to have gluten so I went with the smoked shell on shrimp, a cheese dip, and some salad with olives. I wasn't crazy about the smoked shrimp but the olives and cheese were good. The husband enjoyed a sausage in bun which he said was great. Overall we liked the vibe and I think if you can eat the locally sourced meats like my husband it's probably a pretty solid place. If you're gf or allergy you'll probably still be hungry at the end of the meal like I was.
