There fast, friendly and get your order right every time. I pull up and just load up and get out of there, some times with a T-shirt or hat.

Anoka Hardware Store - Charlotte's web

Anoka Hardware Store

Always in search of a nice speakeasy experience, we came across Anoka Hardware Store while in…read moreMinneapolis before heading off to visit friends. It was a bit of a trek through rush-hour traffic from our hotel but so completely worth the trip. Discretely located through a door marked only by a red light above it we were warmly greeted by gentleman behind the hardware counter. We were prepared to answer with the password to let us in but for some reason it wasn't asked. No big deal. You are then sent through a door into the beautifully dimly-lit space of the speakeasy. There is plenty of seating, with small tables and some booths. We were shown to our table and greeted by one of the great, friendly hostesses. Drinks are ordered directly at the bar with one of the attendants. You immediately pay for your order which will then be brought to your table. Different but really a nice idea. The music was also nicely unique, with a mix of oldies from the 50's and 60's. An old black and white James Cagney movie played silently on one wall. In terms of the cocktails I have to say these are some of the most delicious and finely crafted drinks I've enjoyed. I began with the Start Your Engine, a delicious gin-based drink. My wife had an absolutely fantastic smoked Old Fashioned, smoked in a large box for a minute or two. Wow! Probably the best we've ever tasted. My second drink was another gin cocktail, the Last Word, which I'd been wanting to try for some time. A fine gin supported by green Chartreuse and lime, this was simply sublime. Highly recommended. The bar and menu is quite varied and extensive, so you're sure to find something to your liking. The space has a great vibe and mellow ambiance. Sufficiently dark, cozy and very nicely and eclectically decorated. Service was outstanding and informative. Reservations are recommended. Like many such places you are "limited" to 90-minute timeframes, which sometimes seems like not enough but ultimately works quite well. The quality of the cocktails, space and service all make for a really enjoyable time. Well worth many visits.

The menu is almost too extensive with whisky cocktails, it's almost hard to choose. They also have the most extensive Four Roses single barrel picks around, any of which you can get in a cocktail.

And it is 46% cotton which is even very decent. The place was clean well organized and the staff are very helpful. There was diversity in the employees and the customers. Easy access. I did not see a police car upon entering and leaving which is a really good thing. Parking is relatively easy. I even saw a verse that's just stops in front of Walmart all the way inside so people don't have to walk under snow all the way out. I love this move from the bus authority. I had good luck and bought many sweatshirts too, besides the no-show socks. I will definitely come back to this one since the vibes were positive. This is the kind of Walmarts I would like to see all over the country.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Walmart. The customer service was terrible. Many of…read morethe employees appeared to be wearing AirPods, and when I asked for assistance, they had to remove them just to hear what I was saying. Even after repeating myself multiple times, I was either brushed off or directed to the wrong area. I was looking for insulated bags and, being from out of state, I wasn't familiar with the store's layout. The first employee I asked went to speak with another worker, but instead of helping me, both employees walked away. The second employee pointed me to a completely different section, and the third directed me to the camping department. After spending nearly an hour searching the store, I gave up and left without finding what I needed. It was frustrating and a complete waste of time. Management needs to do a better job training and supervising employees to ensure customers receive proper assistance. I will not be returning to this Walmart and would not recommend it to anyone expecting decent customer service. I'd give it zero star if I could.
