I've tried everything I was told to do without any relief. I was convinced it was something else - so I went to this office for a second opinion. It's Penn right - it has to be good. I had a good experience in the office & felt like they took me seriously & gave me a thorough exam. They confirmed nothing was wrong - and it was dry eye giving me the blurred vision. I left & continued the drops & night gel & still nothing works And i continue to have severely blurred vision. 2 more months & I couldn't stand it & looked for a third opinion & made an appointment with Wills Eye 2000 Hamilton Street in Philadelphia. I saw a Dr. Harris - who within 5 minutes into examining me said - you have mild dry eye - which absolutely is not the cause of your problem. An hour later after many tests I was properly diagnosed with posterior capsule opacification (PCO) & am scheduled for a YAG laser capsulotomy next week. It's a quick outpatient procedure for a fairly common problem that should restore my vision. Thank you 2000 Hamilton Wills Eye. Penn Eye Media - you had a big miss here.

Doctor came in about 10 mins later for a 8 min consult. Office is old, the artwork is old and the people in the waiting room are old. Long story short, pretty good Doctor but expect to wait. Same story with my follow up visit. Waited in the waiting room for over an hour. Janice at the front desk is very nice and efficient.

I did see several different Drs for Narrow Angle Glaucoma, Endophthalmitis, Retina issues, Uveitis, Scleritis, RoP, Macular Degeneration, etc. I followed my last Retina Dr. to her new system. The wait time at all eye Drs is long. I have never had an extreme wait time. My sadness was the repeated turnover in Drs for my retina and uveitis conditions. The front desk in Springfield could use some customer service training.

He answered all of my and my wife's questions and concerns, and never tried to push an unnecessary procedure on me. I had other consultations for laser surgery before ultimately selecting Dr. Weinstock, and all of my other consultations felt rushed and very sales-like and not at all clinical. Dr. Weinstock was readily available to address questions via email and text, and was flexible in his scheduling of in-person follow-ups to accommodate my needs (early/weekend appointments). The surgery itself was successful, taking less than an hour and completely painless. I had clear vision a few hours after my surgery and was completely recovered within 24 hours. I have no residual dry-eye, my night vision is crystal clear and without any starbursts (common post-LASIK issues that I did not experience). Getting LASIK was easily the best decision of my life, and I'm very glad that I chose Dr. Weinstock.
