I have tried to give this business a chance but every time I get my order back; I am more disappointed than the last time, my clothes are not properly separated & they come back damaged or dyed other colors & do not appear clean; I request bleach but I can tell it was not used yet I am charged for it; delivery is always a problem; my dry cleaning still looks soiled; meanwhile I am charged an outrageous amount of money for bad service. I have really tried to continue patronizing them, but I can't any longer. I will find another place because I will not continue to pay for my clothes to be returned in poor shape when they weren't sent that way. read more

This company was great when I started using them in February. I am shocked at how quickly they went from a good company to absolutely terrible. After a bad experience on Saturday with a woman working at the Kew Gardens location and a driver canceling my order instead of picking it up, I foolishly accepted the manager Nicole's offer to make a poor experience right. I'm now having to sort out trying to get my order delivered to another address during the work week so I can get my clothing back. Not everyone gets to WFH and I shouldn't have to take a personal day when this was scheduled to deliver during the weekend. There are other services for laundry pick up and drop off and I 100% recommend going to them instead. read more

iF FUMBLE THE BAG WAS A BUSINESS IT WOULD BE THESE CLOWNS! How they normally operate: They have a website that you can place your order and they give you options on wether you want to use the detergent they have available (for a price ) or your own detergent. Then you select a pick up day and delivery day they send you a text when their coming to pick up and about to deliver. they do the final estimate when they receive your clothes. Witch is normally pricey BTW. Sounds good right. What Happened: On Monday 3/6/23 I requested a pick up and a delivery for the next day on Tuesday 3/7/23. Bro man comes and picks up my clothes I gave him 1 large black bag with colored clothes and 1 clear plastic bag with white clothes and a grey and white patterned queen size sheet set. Tuesday night comes around and I haven't received my clothes but then I get a phone call from a Hispanic lady and says my delivery was delayed because they didn't have water. Clearly I thought that was weird but then she asked if I had the bag black with the tide pods I said yes. And then I said I also have the clear plastic bag with whites and a set of bed sheets. She says she didn't receive it but she's going to look for it. Wednesday morning I call her back and asked about my bag of white clothes. She said she still hasn't received it and told me to call the other location. I asked what location is this? She says Kew Gardens I was little surprised when she said that bc I live in Rosedale so I thought my clothes were in Valley Stream. I call Valley Stream and they don't have the clothes either. Later that evening they drop off my colored clothes but still no white clothes. Mind you they didn't send a text saying they were delivering my clothes they just dropped it off and left it on the porch. Didn't even ring my bell my upstairs neighbor brought my clothes in. I call Kew Gardens and Valley Stream they gave me the Owners number. He didn't pick up but sent a text message telling me to call the Manager. I call the manager I think her name was Nicole she said she was going to look into where my clothes was and call me back. I ended up calling her back the next day on Thursday Come to find out that dumb bitch blocked my number. My man ended up calling the owner and the owner delivers the white clothes on Friday but the bed sheets were missing. We call him and telling the sheets were missing he comes back the next day on Saturday with bed sheets but the fitted sheet was missing. We didn't even call him for the sheet bc we were BEYOND over it at that point. These ppl have absolutely no respect for their customers I'm paying $100 for a service and my clothes are missing and these clowns have the audacity to be dismissive. I hope your business fails drastically you guys have no customer service skills, no conflict resolution skills, no business management skills and last but no least you guys have no CLASS and you're thieves!! read more

Thanks to Laney's Laundry in Valley Stream our 55 Forest Road graduation gowns are cleaned and pressed and ready to go. The service was amazing. I didn't even have to leave my home. They've lost a customer after 2+ years (every other week). Within recent months, the condition of this laundry mart has gotten worse. Too many times I've attempted to wash or dry clothes, only to find after 30 mins that the machine or dryer did not work. On one side of the laundry mart, the chances of one getting caught with a non-working dryer is very high, and on the other side of the laundry mart, the new dryers do not get as hot as the old ones. In any case, almost weekly, I see someone get caught using a machine or dryer that ultimately did not work. Last time, it was a little old lady looking frustrated that all her other clothes were washed and ready to go, but she had to do over the set from a non-working machine. In addition to all this, on Saturday mornings the laundry mart is usually filthy. I'm guessing that the Friday night attendant does not clean up before she leaves. Let's not even start on the bathroom - my best advice is to use yours at home before you come, then pray that you don't need to even wash your hands while there. You'll feel dirtier after using the bathroom than before you used it. It's a mess! So after all this, imagine my shock when I showed up this morning to find that the prices for washing were all raised. The service has gotten worse but Randy (the owner) apparently had the audacity to raise his prices. Look! I don't mind paying more, but if I must pay more I'd like to think that I could have a more pleasant experience. The last time the prices were raised, we all understood that Randy had made recent improvements and that the raise was necessary. This time, things have worsened but he wants more money. Another thing to note - They advertise free Wi-fi (which by the way is one of the reasons I started going there 2 years ago); however, within the last year, they've cunningly changed the Wi-fi password without informing customers or posting a sign with the new password...and the attendant does not know the password. So, technically, the advertised free Wi-fi is only free if you happen to see/contact the owner and ask him what it is. Look! I'm all for supporting black businesses, and believe it or not, I'm cool with prices being raised if services have improved. That is not the case for this laundry mart and it'll be really nice if the owner does better. read more

I've been going here since June. I should've stopped using their services a while back, but I figured I'd give them a break. Businesses are already having a tough time during COVID. 1st: The first day, I was advised to buy their Tide detergent & Downy fabric softener; they would store it for me. Obviously I was skeptical but I said sure. The lady said it would be saved onto their system and I wouldn't have to pay anything beyond the laundry/lb fees. After 3 consecutive visits, I had to complain because I was still getting charged 0.50 each wash for downy & tide separately. The same lady claimed that there was nothing in the system & to ask the other employee. Alright I asked the other one the next time, and they said they didn't know anything about it. Clearly I'm still upset and I still pay it. It's not the money; it's a matter of principal. 2nd: I've been noticing that my white clothes are looking kinda stained around the edges. The same result would happen if they were lumped in with dark clothes. The female employees claim that they wash it separately with bleach but no way. I washed my own clothes for years and they never looked like that. So I decided to re-wash my white clothes with Clorox bleach at the request of my mother; lo & behold they're white again! Mothers are always right. 3rd: Lastly, each and every time I drop off my clothes, I request that they use the best products. I tell them that they can charge me whatever, it's just that I need quality cleaning products. Every once in awhile I get itchy whenever I put on freshly washed clothes. This is ridiculous! My doctor told me to avoid the cheaper products so I won't get a rash. I'm tired of re-washing my own clothes. Ok ok they're super nice and polite but I should've noticed this trend sooner. I always tip 18-20% so that can't be the cause. I have my own washer & dryer.. I just don't have the time nowadays. 2 stars only for them being nice. read more

I no longer use this laundromat as I have moved and my place has a washing machine. I used to live in Springfield gardens and drive all the way here to wash my clothes. It's quiet never overpacked. You can find washers and dryers side by side. That's why I went out of my way. I wanted space. The dryers are not that great. Some get hot some just warm and you have to continuously enter money to dry your clothes. Husband says it's a rip off but I pay for convenience and space. I shouldn't have to play which dryer is better. As a tip to owner, when your children visit keep them quiet and not running around. It is not a good look. I also printed a coupon off their website, not knowing that they have expired from last year on their website... everything went well until i went through the clothes i noticed there was missing items. I called only to be told there is no system for lost items. Okay, but then what about my missing items, I was then given the manager's number. His response was to call me back the next day with an update on the missing items.... Never got a call back, and I'm not going to follow up on that anymore because that's not my job.... Very poor customer service. Even with contacting the manager I'm now being avoided. I've been a weekly customer for months for pick up and drop off. The major flaw in the service is the time frame provided by this laundry mat. Pick up says between 9-5pm , if you live close to the laundry mat be prepared to have your laundry picked up at the very last minute or after that time frame. I've even expressed how there's a reoccurring issue with the pick up driver coming when no one is home. I live in a building. There is someone home in the morning hours. First response was they are hiring a driver for the kew gardens area. Second response was change my pick up day because Saturdays pick up would be early morning. How ever neither has solved the issue and my texts have been completely ignored by the manager. My laundry bag has been in the apartment building lobby for over 5 hours. Last week the same. I had to go back and forth for the driver to re attempt pick up. It's such a hassle ! read more

Since new ownership I've noticed an incredible change. The new owner Randy actually interacts with you, helps you with any problems your having, and offers customers coffee. The new vending machines are always filled and they actually work without stealing your money!
