Executive Cleaners is truly a gem in Mineola. Their service is consistently excellent -- professional, fast, and reliable every single visit. I especially appreciate that they also offer on-site tailor services, which makes it so easy to get everything handled in one stop, from simple hems to more detailed alterations. They open early and stay open late, which is a lifesaver for anyone with a busy schedule. On the occasions I've needed a last-minute accommodation, they've always gone above and beyond to make it happen without hesitation. Extra bonus: there's a parking lot in the back, which takes away the stress of street parking in the area. If you want great quality, convenience, and true customer care, this is the place. read more

Great service! Would definitely recommended this place to friends and family! Quality of clothes came out great!

I needed to find a place that would do a good job at dry cleaning my winter coat - which was filled with cat hair and, I'm sure, many people's germs from various grocery store trips and walks about town. I've zipped by this place many times, and after searching for places nearby with hours that I can pick up after work hours and pay with card (I rarely ever carry cash these days), I landed on Executive Cleaners. And hey, they have a little parking lot which made it just even more convenient. Dropping off my coat was a breeze and the very nice gentleman let me know if you would three days to pick it up. Sure, great, no rush as it's no longer winter. He wore a mask, was polite, and the store appeared to have good social distancing policies in place which is very important to me. When I went to pick up my coat, it was a different story. The same man was there to help me retrieve my coat and he was masked p, but an employee standing behind him did not have a mask-- wasn't even holding one, and didn't have the decency to move to the back. I stood at the back of the store the entire time and only walked up to hand over my card and pick up my coat. I'm sure the work was great, but I can't get over this other employee's lack of consideration. Hopefully if you go you won't be met with the same. read more

Excellent dry clean service and quick turnaround time. The price is competitive. The staff are professional and friendly. They have a small parking lot in the rear. Drop off and pickup was easy, effortless and quick. They also offer alteration service at a reasonable price. read more

So expensive! They jacked up their pricing - They now charge $6.50 per button down shirt to be dry cleaned/pressed. There are many other dry cleaning options out there that do just as good of a job & way way cheaper! read more

Needed some pants hemmed for the next day.. and they made it happen.. So recommend them!

Great service, professional and cheerful staff, always enough people on duty so you don't have to wait long. Dry cleaning on premises. Get your stuff in a couple of days. They do good tailoring too. Convenient business hours. Only a tiny parking lot for two or three cars, but a dry cleaner probably doesn't need more. Street parking usually available too. Last but not least their prices are very reasonable. This place is a good choice! read more

Would give ZERO stars if allowed! Comforter brought in for cleaning, came outlooking worse. White cotton comforter brought in for cleaning, $45.00 charge so expected good work. When brought home and opened bag, the center, not visible , was beige , no longer white. Brought back to cleaners who took no ownership of their work, said it was "human oils" and even" if" they tried to repeat the cleaning it would not improve. If they had mentioned this potential issue/risk when I brought it in, then I might not have gone ahead with cleaning or would have not been so surprised by the result. I expected a bit more service for $45.00, if you are going to charge premium prices you should provide premium service. I had been going to this dry cleaner since I moved back to this neighborhood, alas will need to find another read more

Dress Shirts laundered & pressed for $1.00 (Reg is $1.50) with $10 dry cleaning order. Not valid with pick up and delivery. Although I have only had my dress shirts cleaned and pressed very well, my friends have also told me they do a good job on other items as well. When you find a good dry cleaner, you stick with them. 'nuff said. read more

Executive Cleaners - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Mineola, New York

If you are in the market for new dry cleaner, Bob and his family at Executive Cleaners will welcome you with open arms. And treat you better than family. And you don't even need to invite them over for Thanksgiving! LOL. Seriously though, you can't go wrong with this dry cleaner. I started going there when I worked in the neighborhood and even though I am not nearby anymore, I make the drive to get there because they are worth it! read more

Terrible alteration women. They hemmed my pants way way shorter than how thy measured them on me. When I returned to the store to complain that they ruined my pants, they pretended that they did not understand me. They were totally in the wrong! Owner did nothing to make this right. They are over priced and incompetent! Plenty of other great cleaners with alterations on Jericho Tpke in Mineola to choose from. read more

I lived in Mineola for one year before moving back to the city, and wanted to make sure I review this place. I highly recommend it, staff is nice, service is great. Service: This is one of those mom and pop shops, the whole family works there-something that's now hard to find. They are always friendly and attentive. I have not had an issue with any employee Dry cleaning/ Tailoring Prices here are great for the area. Definitely on the affordable side. I was very impressed with the way my suit was tailored, got a lot of compliments from my coworkers. One of my shirts had a tough stain that came out with their basic cleaning, did not require any expensive or fancy stuff The only downside is limited parking but def come here if you want great service read more

I was very happy with my experience here. Everyone was friendly and they did a great job. I went in looking to have a jumpsuit that was too big taken in, and it was done beautifully. It was finished in a few days and the price was about what I expected for alterations. read more

Very friendly. We brought it a suit to be cleaned, 2 kids dress shirts, 2 men's dress shirts, and a women's jumpsuit to be pressed. We were amazed what a great job they did and the total cost was $24. We highly recommend this cleaners for all your needs. read more

I absolutely love this place. Owned and operated by a wonderful family. They do a phenomenal job and they could be any more accommodating. They also have a fantastic Wine and Liquor store (Executive Liquors) right next door which has great prices and selection as well. I love the one stop shop for wine, whiskey, and clean shirts! Recommend Highly! read more

Very good - solid service - been going there for many years at this point - tried a couple other cleaners but came back.

there is absolutely nothing to brag about this place. I came here to get some things sowed onto my uniform sleeves and I got em back crooked and uneven. Ok so I won't get shit sown here then. How about a cleaning? Took a few shirts here and some jeans. Pointed out the stains (that were easily removable) and I got em back with the stains still in tacked. I mentioned it and they said there's nothing they can do.... I scratched it off as it was dry and it came off. The look on their faces were priceless. Ok, no cleaning... Howwwww about a press? Took a pair of jeans here. 2 actually. Told em to press one, and just starch the other for I wanted to keep the original crinkles. They did the opposite. And ruined my $300 pair of diesel jeans. I don't get it... read more

Prices are good, quality not so much. I have used them for many years and recently every time I pick up my clothes there is an odd, chemical smell. Seems like they are using old solvent or their machines needs to be cleaned, either way it makes no seMae to use their service when the items are returned less clean than when they arrived. read more

I finally found a reliable dry cleaner that offers efficient pick-up and delivery. They offer pickup / delivery once or twice per week depending on how much dry cleaning you need. Clothes always come back in perfect condition. They also do alterations and repairs which is really helpful. read more

Been going there for a number of years and recently started using their pickup and delivery service. Responsible place with pleasant staff.

I just moved to NY and thanks to Yelp, found this gem of a place! Great service, competitive pricing, street and shared parking lot (aka convenient), and polite staff. So far I've gotten 20+ clothes dry cleaned here (dresses, cardigans, scarves, winter jacket, blazers) and couple of small repairs done. I highly recommend them and will be a loyal customer! read more

We recently moved to the area and still had some dry cleaning from pre-covid that never got done so I dropped it off here. I really appreciate that everything is done on-site (unheard of in the city). Reasonable pricing and parking at the rear, so we'll definitely be back once life goes back to normal. read more

Great service. No issues with my drop offs. I definitely recommend this place. Clean fast and efficient. Thank you guys

Me and my family go here for a while now and it's a professional place. I'd recommend you check your receipts before checking out or before leaving when you first drop off your stuff to see if everything's labeled and priced normally on your ticket. I'd had to do price adjustments previously. I want to pay for exactly what I gave to clean. read more

Phenomenal service, great prices, and really sweet people. We had them dryclean a peacoat that had recently had a button break off. The button was in the coat pocket. Can you believe that, when we got the coat back, they had sown the button back on AND DIDN'T EVEN MENTION IT. No charge. No fuss. They just did it for us without us even needing to ask. I think this may even be my first Yelp review, but I thought it'd be a crime not to praise them for something like this considering how rare it is nowadays. Needless to say, they've got our business for the indefinite future. read more

Great service, fair prices. Never had an issue with this place. I'd highly recommend using their services for your dry-cleaning needs

Fast, friendly, professional service. Their prices are fair and I always get my clothes back in perfect condition. What more do you want from a cleaners? This place is great! I just moved to the area and was looking for a reliable cleaner. The prices here are affordable (2pc suit and a jacket dry cleaned for $15). They also are efficient and get you your clothes back quick. I dropped my clothes off on a Tuesday and asked if I could get it by Thursday. Unlike other places where I've seen people roll their eyes, this person smiled and said it wouldn't be an issue The best part about this place are the employees. I've mainly interacted with the young guy at the counter but he's always pleasant and is easy to talk to I will be recommending this place to all of my colleagues at the hospital nearby read more

Anyone who values their wardrobe knows that finding a good dry cleaners you can trust can be a difficult task. I went into Executive Cleaners with a brand new shirt to be laundered. The reason I went there is to try a new cleaner and also I wanted to have the shirt starched and ready to wear. The shirt was BRAND NEW! I wear custom made clothing and I am meticulous about my clothes. I went back to pick up the shirt and lo and behold----- some type of stain on the collar in plain view! I pointed the stain out to the employees and they used the standard argument---- the shirt was brought in like that. I replied in a calm manner that the shirt was literally new and how could it be that way. Another employee behind the counter told me "not to be disrespectful". The first employee brought the shirt into the back of the store to be looked at. A boss came out a minute later with the shirt and said " I brought the shirt in like that". Basically I was being accused of bringing in a damaged shirt to be cleaned knowing that it couldn't be cleaned properly. Meanwhile there were not one but TWO different people waiting for their respective cleaning orders to pick up and apparently the reason they were waiting is they were missing pieces from their cleaning. Well normally I don't like to disparage a business but in this case I feel I must point this out. Not even that they would try to clean my shirt again. It seems that this reply from the boss is the standard comeback from cleaners because a friend of mine told me about his experience with another cleaner in Queens where he lives. I really don't understand this type of behavior in business owners because if they want to keep their business going maybe they should try to help their customers instead of brushing them off. Needless to say I am NOT happy with my experience with Executive Cleaners. Instead of standing there arguing with the owner I walked out and I promise that I will call Nassau County Consumer Affairs about this incident. I suggest to anyone who uses this cleaner to be careful with what you bring to them and take photos of your cleaning before you drop it off to be cleaned. I'm sure there are other people who have no problems with them SO FAR but beware! ------- it's the standard response------ the item was brought into the store in that condition!! I don't gamble at all but I'll be willing to bet money that this has happened to many people with their cleaning all over New York. The moral of the story is------BE CAREFUL WITH EXECUTIVE CLEANERS! read more

Love this cleaners and the family that run it! They are friendly and accommodating. Prices are pretty average- but the customer service is above average. It's not the closest cleaners to us, but we live the service and owner that we stay loyal to them. They do quality alterations too! read more
