It's bad enough that Lane Bryant practically takes an entire paycheck for one outfit. When I am about to spend that kind of money, I expect some kind of service behind it. I went to this store, and first of all...it was extremely dimly lit. I had trouble seeing ANYTHING that I was looking at. Next, they were out of almost everything my size. It being a mall location, this surprised me. Next, the young sales rep. (10 minutes after I walked in), asked me if I needed help, so I told her what I was looking for. She then halfheartedly looked around and said, "As soon as you leave, I will see something and think, that would have been great!" Great, so you already plan on me leaving? I digress...she opened me a fitting room, and did check on me one other time. She wasn't that terrible...but there were two "managers" at the front register who never once acknowledged me, even though I did the quintessential customer "look around pretending you are looking for something", because I was looking for a specific size in a shoe right next to them. In addition, I heard one of the managers tell a customer that the current promotion of 40% off the store was going on for 3 weeks, when I knew for a fact it was only 1 week. In addition, she was dressed very shabbily/almost grungy for her position at a clothing store! DO NOT come to this store if you expect to get good service for the prices charged for their clothing, head the extra 10 miles to the Chesterfield location. They are not knowledgeable, and do not have the customer service skills needed to be competitive in their industry. read more
