Lane Bryant in store shopping is not as nice as online. Customer service is great, but most of their clothing is outdated, in my opinion. I don't think most curvy women want to look frumpy or overly conservative. Wish they put more thought into how a cruvy body fits into clothing. They really could do so much better. I usually buy my stuff online because I only like their intimates. (Bras and panties) I give them a 3 because the things I have purchased from them are of good quality @ decent prices, especially during their sale events. read more

Friday 2/21/25 I had to hurry and buy a medium gray color blouse to go with my gray dressy slacks. Needed for a family funeral next day...been about a year since I've been to Lane Bryant in Redlands. So I saw a lot of clothing set up for Spring season. Plus they were having a 30%off sale. I looked around and went to the back of the store and saw their clearance section (by sizes) it was many selections on winter blouses (long sleeve) and some pants. I found the perfect grey blouse that had black outlines of roses in the print... it was marked down to $34.98; they also gave me 70% discount because it was a final sale item; I paid a total of $ 11.30! What a terrific bargain!! Right now very pretty blouses are in the clearance section on winter season items. Must go see for yourself! read more

This was my first time here. This location was clean and organized. The sale today was buy one get one free of clearance!! I found shirts, ear rings and pajamas. A nice lady gave me a $25 off coupon because my son had held the door open for her. I also had a $20 birthday reward. I was able to buy six items for less than $15!!!! The staff was friendly and attentive. They offered to order anything I wanted. Checking out was fast and easy. I highly recommend coming here. They have a great selection of bras in many sizes. I purchased a gift card for my sister here, I tossed the receipt since I never had issues with gift cards. When my sister went to use her card , there was no funds . I used my phone number for point, so thankfully,the store clerk was able to retrieve my transaction number . But couldn't refund me. I called customer service , they said the store had to fix it by activating the card. The store employees would send me back to the customer service number because they couldn't do anything on their end. I spend 2+ hours on the phone trying to correct this . Aside from embarrassment and wasting my time . My issue was not resolved . They will "investigate " and get back to me in 2-3 DAYS! If this was an electronic mistake or an employee mistake, it should be resolved easier and faster . My time is money . So disappointed. Never going back to LB! read more

This photo was taken 2/13/18, I had to return a bra but wanted to exchange it for a larger size. I had to ask one of them to measure me because every time I would try on a bra it wouldn't fit! Once I was measured the bras were still to small so by this time I gave up and just made a return! There was one lady in front of me waiting to check-out not pictured. Then the two ladies on the right come out from the back room (employees) and cut the line to check the lady in red out before she left for the day! Not only is that rude and poor customer service but it took 15 minuets because she was trying to use as much coupons by doing multiple transactions. This is not the first time I have had these experiences at this location, the employees pictured always talk to themselves and have full conversations while working instead of helping their customers! Today my grandma went into the store and purchased a large amount of items. I walked in and asked the cashier if she could apply a coupon I found online for $50 off of $150+. The coupon had a code word but cashier asked me for a barcode. I searched and could not find a barcode. The cashier then ask her manager who tried to immediately dismiss the coupon saying " Theres no coupon with that offer" I showed her the coupon with the stores name and website and she became upset and said "let me use our computer to see if it's on our store website". After 3mins she walks over and says the order does not qualify for a discount because my grandma's items were on special. My grandma told the manager she paid full price no sale items and the cashier backed her claims the Manager says "well then your items are excluded that's why the coupon won't work. I then checked the details on the coupon for fine print and I read them out loud for the cashier and manager and again the manager became upset because she did want to honor the coupon. This went on for a total of 15minutes and while they so called searched for the coupon once again another cashier says " We just used that coupon yesterday and it worked" the manager avoided eye contact and didn't acknowledge the comment. I pulled up the store website and the sale was on the main page very big which let's me know they never searched. I showed her and at that point she magically found a code for the exact discount I was asking for. THIS GOES TO SAY THEY WILL TRY TO GET OVER ON YOU IF YOU LET THEM. Unfortunately Lane Bryant has lost a loyal customer based on an interaction I had yesterday with an associate at this location, which I had never visited before. Immediately I was drawn to several cute blouses but while searching for my size (26/28) I only found 18/20s. I. Moved on tooi the next, and the next. I did find one 20/22 but was surprised to see a display of shorts on sale that looked as if they were made for teenagers. Trying one last time I found a gorgeous blouse on display, but again, not available in my size. As the associate approached a nearby area, I said hello and asked if they carried 26/28s. She said, "yes, but we'd have to order online." I was dumbfounded. Lane Bryant is a plus-sized store! I shook it off, thanked her and then commented how it seemed as if they only carried smaller sizes. The associate first looked at me up and down then said, "actually we serve a different clientele." Shaming at its finest! Hurt and embarrassed l, I turned to walk away, she called it 3 to me again, stating they could order it, I told her I had learned everything I needed. How many other women has this happened to? There are very few quality plus-size stores to choose from to begin with. I, for one, will not be treated as if I am less than for being heavy. Additionally, If I wanted to order online, I could have done this from the comfort of my own home! To the older heavier set blonde lady at the register- I came in to purchase my mom a dress/outfit for my fathers funeral who just passed a few days ago. All we needed was some help so mom asked her for some help this is her reply. "You will need to wait because I am busy!! and there's 1 lady ahead of you and I need to check the back door" She went to the door mumbled something to the other girl came back and started taking care of another lady that had just walked in. She didn't even ask someone else to help us. Her tone and attitude were really snobby and not very professional at all. Now I'm not looking for special treatment or a red carpet as I walk in but a simple yes mam let me find someone to assist you while I help another customer would have been great. I'm not sure how these stores stay in business with this type of treatment. We walked out because we felt embarrassed as mom teared up as we walked out. I always shop here and have had good experiences until today. My wife and I went to return some items and pick up an order. I needed to return everything because the bras didn't support, I had worn one and the hook came out. I didn't wash the bra because I wanted them to see that it was brand new and defective. The cashier didn't speak to me or anything. The other cashier started to talk to the cashier about me in Spanish! Once I told my wife to tell me what they said they stopped speaking in Spanish. The defective bra was on my receipt because it said quantity two, but she missed that somehow and was like where's your receipt and I had to explain to her what quantity was. I needed to reorder 4 bras and she orders 2 I said I needed 4, but she missed it. I told the manager she was rude and she said she will talk to her. read more

I've always loved Lane Bryant, but my experience at this one in Redlands, which is fairly new, is awesome! The sales staff is gracious, welcoming, and quick to answer questions and help. If they don't have the answers, they get them. Some of the new pants I wanted to try, aren't on hand...anywhere! Okay, so I never buy bras. It's horrible. So, today I knew this store was having their semi annual sale so I went. I liked the store, it was nice and clean. Then I went to check out, at this point my boyfriend walked in because he was bored waiting for me. Well, the first woman to check me out did not apply any of the deals to my purchase. I tried to have her explain why I didn't qualify for any of the sales several times, but she just brushed me off with attitude. So, I walked out paying more for less. But my boyfriend convinced me go back in and ask for an explanation from a different associate. Lydia, was kind and patient. Very disappointed in the service. I'm used to the ridiculous prices, you HAVE to make a bee line for the clearance rack. This site has poor customer service, I waited to get a dressing room. One cashier at checkout meant another long wait. Sale signs are very confusing... Clothes on the same rack were not all covered by the posted sign. Very small store and inventory. I'm only giving this place a two because I was finally able to find what I needed. I usually do online orders for here and now I remember why. The customer service sucks and I always have to dig for my size. I didn't even get asked if I needed help until after I had already been on the store and tried stuff on. Finally while digging through stuff again someone asked if I needed help and if I was still doing ok. Don't ask if I'm still doing ok if you never even talked to me in the first place. On top of it on of the workers was trying clothes on while I was digging trying to find my size then asking the other workers if she could wear it! I love this store for clothing. I wanted to see this new location by my work. I walked in Yesterday and didn't have greet me. Now unfortunately this is not odd for Lane Bryant stores I have been too. I was looking around the store and it wasn't very busy there were two people at the registers helping others and a couple walking around the store. One worker passed me two times while I walked through the store and didn't say a word to me. I walked around the whole store to see they didn't greet anyone who walked in. So I just walked right on out. I thought this would have been a perfect store close to my workplace. Maybe ill try it again another time but it will not been anytime soon. read more

The issue I have is that while the staff is knowledgeable and helpful there are never enough of them and the wait to check out is longer than shopping the entire store plus trying on the clothes. I've been in the morning and night, weekend and weekday and the wait for even one customer is on average ten minutes per transaction. So many questions. So many customers who forgot their cards or want to call about their payments. It's always something. I have walked out twice and they have lost my sales. Today I needed a few items. I found them. The sales person helped me locate my size. I then went to the register to wait my turn with one person already waiting. Another customer stopped the sales person for help. She helped her. The new customer walked up and the sales person took her over the rest of us. She came in the store after me. She got her help after me. Same help I asked for. Locating a size. I walked out. I waited outside for the lady to leave. It was 12 minutes before she left the counter. I went back in and there were now more people in line (of course). There were people in "lines" from several directions so I had no idea where to get in line. And one person checking them out because the other sales person was helping in the dressing room. This is a holiday weekend with major sales and two people are working. I will repeat the sales people are very good at their job. They simply need more help. I left and told them I would return prior to closing. I'm going to run the rest of my errands instead of wasting my day away standing in their line. read more

Boot shopping has always been hard for me.I called and I explained what I needed to find as far as a boot and she found it and they were on sale for 40 and my limit was 50 so I was happy and I told her okay go ahead and put them on hold. I got there and of course they didn't fit with my luck. So I looked at the other boots they had I found cute brown ones that fit I fell completely in love with them when I tried them on. I figured they were on clearance because i had to search for the other match to the boot and found it on the other side of the shelf and the boxes to all the boots that were on one shelf were a mess! and the boxes were litterally falling apart. My box couldn't even hold the boots by itself I had to hold the box together and take it to the front. They scanned them and no discount or anything! It's no longer boot season. All there other boots are on sale and these boots weren't even the better looking out of all of them. The lady upset me because she kept pushing me to apply to I get a credit card she I mentioned 6 times! I'm sorry you can't I understand what no means! I'm irritated because I drove an hour out and still couldn't get a pair of boots. I refuse to pay 90.00 plus tax for a pair of boots that are clearly in a clearance pile with the rest of the 8 other boots they had. Ive spent so much money between lane Bryant and torrid I definitely won't be back and I'll make sure to let people know what happened. read more
