In fact, Boscov's was the ONLY credit card they EVER HAD! They were so cute . . . Anyway, with the decline of poor (formerly Echelon Mall) Voorhees Town Center, Boscov's is the only anchor (dept) store left here! They have me captive and now I'm a customer AND fan! The ladies dept has beautiful formal dresses; the children's dept has nice clothing and great deals and I really "mopped up" on Champion brand (heavy weight) tees & shorts for my son a few weeks ago. I splurged a bit on myself in both the jewelry & home decor departments. I'm guessing I got bargains due to the post holiday season. I bought two beautiful pair of earrings (one, rhinestone stars - $8; the other, abalone oblong ovals $15). Lastly, I got a set of precious/beautiful mother/babies set of Oleg Cassini crystal ducks (see photo). They were half priced. There was a huge assortment of animals (hummingbirds, penguins, fish) and insects (butterflies, dragonflies), etc. (mushrooms, a clam with a "pearl", paperweights) to choose from! Last month I got a pair of shoes for work that I just love (so comfy) plus a few 6-packs of ankle socks for my daughter for only $1.99/ea! A bonus to shopping here is that you can get in and out quickly. The mall is all but dead now and there are usually more than enough cashiers around. They still even offer free gift wrap in Customer Service (lower level near toys). Lastly,check out the candy department with Godiva and Asher's if you're in a bind for a gift or want a yummy treat. You can even just buy a single chocoalte covered pretzel, etc., if you have a whooley!

Reasonable pricing with lots of sale items. Hardest part was finding a sales person for help as many of the checkout counters are closed. Staffing is at a limited.

She was helping me find things to buy, and actually helping me, not in any sort of pushy way whatsoever. She was incredibly friendly and kind. Further I found some really cute stuff and had a good experience in the dressing room which was clean and spacious. The whole store was clean and well organized, which made me feel safer given I hadn't been in a mall in quite some time. I would definitely return here!

I'd probably buy more from the clearance racks if half the time the clothes weren't in the wrong size sections. Be smart and keep an eye for the deals and discounts, which can add up if you are also a holder of their store credit card. The nice thing is that they will let you stack up a good number of discounts on top of each other. Shipping costs are absurd, so I try to order with availability in the store as my top priority. +1 for having sizes for us curvy short gals.

It wasn't until I traveled to the East Coast that I was actually able to visit an LL Bean store for myself. The first one that I visited was at an outlet in Virginia. This time, we stopped in New Jersey in what looks like a newer location. LL Bean is located in an outdoor shopping center in New Jersey, not too far from the NY border. Initially, I thought that this was an outlet location, due to the layout of the properties. They had a lot of popular stores that you don't see at shopping malls. So, I was surprised that it so many stores that are a bit more pricey in an outlet format. LL Bean is an outdoor enthusiasts' ideal location to find gear that would be beneficial to their excursions. They carry clothing for all seasons as well as jackets that are ideal for subzero temperatures. Also, their signature Bean Boots are available in all sizes and at a discounted price. They had a lot of Bean Boots aka duck boots on the rack in adult sizes, so it was nice to get a good pair of boots at a reasonable price. I feel like LL Bean has more clothing, gear, and accessories in their stores. Whereas you'd find larger items online. They do carry bike racks, hunting supplies, snowshoes, and kayaks, but they don't have as much in store. Luckily, you can place an order through the store and they'll ship everything directly to your home. One thing that I really love about LL Bean is the educator/student discount. You can get it multiple times throughout the year and they'll provide you with a code that you can use in store or online. I had to input my school's information and a copy of my teacher's ID. They sent the code straight to my email and the discount was applied when I checked out. Also, you could just show them your school ID and they'll just give you the discount right there. Each location is different, but they're usually pretty laid back and always willing to help you out. I love everything about LL Bean. This is the store that has been near and dear to my heart since I discovered them years ago. We hope to visit their flagship store in Freeport, Maine in the future.

As an elder cripple person (MS) using 2 canes to walk I informed him about the MAJOR PROBLEM getting into the store. You're unable to use ANY of the hand rails getting up and down their stairs because of the SEVERE birdshit PROBLEM that adorns ALL the railings. In fact Kim had to help me down the stairs when leaving (she kindly carried my 2 bags to the car parked in handicap). Shawn the mgr told me they have a problem with the neighbors birds. They are infested with large groupings of birds and they like to use Lane Bryants rails. Since I had just used the bathroom (they wait outside your door til done) and noticed TONS of paper towels and cleaning supplies. TONS!! I told Shawn the mgr that those items would GREATLY GREATLY HELP AND BE APPRECIATED by all us old and handicap customers. But was basically pood pood me (no pun intended) and didn't understand that their neighbors problems make it Lane Bryants problem. Take a hose to it or wipe them down. It's that simple. I wish I had the luxury of your capable feet but some of us out here DON'T. That would make spending large amounts of money more palatable when shopping at that Lane Bryants location.

When I called the store to ask if I needed an appointment for a bra fitting. I was told I wouldn't…read moreneed one during the week, but to allow at least 40 minutes for the fitting. I went to the store 2 days later. The person who was doing my fitting measured me and told me my size. I went to the dressing room. She brought me in 4 different styles and left. I barely saw her for 10 minutes. Three of the bras didn't fit well. The fourth did and I bought it and ordered two more. However, after wearing the bra one time I realized that the bra rolled up on the bottom and the straps slid off my shoulders. Thankfully, the store let me return all 3.

Sam was very knowledgeable about various bras and sizing. She helped up find the perfect fit. Sam demonstrated how the bras were supposed to fit and brought in multiple selections to show us. She ensured we were pleased with our selection before finalizing our purchase. Soma has gained loyal customers thanks to Sam!

My how things have changed! Thanks for convincing me of that mom! I bought two absolutely beautiful pieces of costume jewelry today for only $22 with the sale and my cyber coupon. The cashiers were dolls, especially Lindsey and anther young red haired female with an ethereal vibe and look. Don't overlook JCP!

We ordered a suit last Sunday to be delivered on Wednesday. A notification from UPS came on Monday…read moresaying a label had been created and the package was awaiting carrier pickup. On Friday, when the status was still the same , I called the customer service number. I was told they would try to contact the warehouse but that the package was waiting to be picked up... which I clearly already knew. I called UPS and was told the sender needed to schedule a pickup and that creating a label does lot do that automatically... which I would assume JC Penny would know. I called the customer service number again and was told that they would look into it and if it was not picked up by Monday to call back to have another one sent. Seriously? So I am still waiting for them to send me my order. Horrible.
