My wife and I have been going to Severn Cleaners now for over 20 years!!! The Owner/Manager (Mr…read more Lee) has ALWAYS been a pleasure....Not only is he a very nice person, he also consistently works to get out the most impossible stains. No business will ever have a 100% rating, but Severn Cleaners under his Management has to be extremely close. In the 20 years+ that we've been going there, we can honestly say he is the "Best" in the business (hands-down!) I don't believe we can ever trust our clothes to any place other than Severn Cleaners - If you haven't tried them, you are missing out on the very best of Quality!!

I've only brought dry cleaning here once, but it was a pleasant experience. It didn't take long to…read moredrop off or pick up my dry cleaning and the price was pretty reasonable. This is going to be my go-to dry cleaner. Other places in the area seem like they received pretty low reviews.

I'm now wearing the signature wrinkle of Four Seasons Cleaners on my "ironed" shirts…read more I drove out of my way to goto this place based on the Yelp reviews, but won't again. I brought in dry cleaning and shirts to be ironed. The dry cleaning was fine. Nothing extraordinary and I'd do dry cleaning there again except it was slow (4 days to get it returned). My problem were the shirts I brought in to be ironed. All 8 shirts ironed had wrinkles in the same places from his process. On the front parallel with the top seam on both shoulders, and on the back there was a pretty deeply folded wrinkle coming down from both sides off the top of the neck. Photos attached of both. If it were one shirt ok, but it was every shirt that came back. When you get the shirts back, they are wrapped around one another so it looks like the back shirt is giving the front shirts a hug, making it hard to check them for damage. There also isn't a bar like most shops you can hang the clothes up on to look through them individually. Kinda weird for a dry cleaner, just a pole with a hook to hang all 8 shirts on. I asked him about the wrinkles hoping to get them fixed and he told me about his 3 machine process and how the machines cost 15k each and you won't find a better quality machine anywhere. I was asking in front of other customers and I think I unintentionally embarrassed him. Then he either said I could go or asked me to go. Not to be that guy, but with his accent I just couldn't make it out so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was saying the shirts were good to go. He couldn't fix the wrinkles, so I paid and left and joined Yelp so I could warn others. This is not the wonderful special place the reviews make it out to be. It is definitely cheaper than most dry cleaners! But I'm ok with paying more to get a completely ironed shirt.

So I checked the other pair I haven't even worn yet and the hemming is also loose and coming out, and I haven't even worn them yet. I took them back and she is charging me to hem them again even though her work is the worst sewing I've ever seen. I could have probably done a better job and I can't even sew. I find it pretty remarkable she does the work, it falls apart within 2-3 weeks and she charges me again to repair her own mistake. Once these pants are done I'll never bring another uniform piece to her shop.

I really miss Odenton Cleaners, the one that was located next to Ruth's Chris and Baltimore Tea and…read moreCoffee. This Station Cleaners has the WORST customer service, and especially the older lady! This place makes up prices as they go. Literally, I had an item cleaned 3 weeks ago. I bring that same item back today, and the price is $3.25 more! They throw the receipt at you. This older lady acts as if she's inconvenienced every time I go in this place. TBH, moving forward, I will be looking for a new location to Dry Clean my clothes. In today's day and age, great customer service is the sustainability of a business, and I will not give my money to a business that treats me so poorly!

To say we have never been treated so poorly would be an understatement!…read more We chose this proprietor based on family and friend's recommendations. We brought several pieces to be dry cleaned and we left one short. You see, they "lost" a very expensive custom fit shirt valued at approximately $110 dollars. Just lost it! No explanation..just "so sorry". We went back when we realized it wasn't in the receivables and asked to see if they could find the shirt...they stated to give them time to look and come back. We did. Upon second visit..we were told by an associate that they could not find our item and after a discussion, were told that we would have to talk to Mimi the general manager, but the best they could do was a credit towards future dry cleaning. This wasn't optimal but it was ok. We asked for this in writing and was told no. When we asked when would be an optimal time to call MImi we were told .."we could not call to talk to Mimi" because they "don't answer their phones"!!! What!? How does a business function like this? So again, took time out from a very busy schedule to stop in to see Mimi to receive the credit. This is where it went from bad to unbelievably horrid. We were told in no certain terms that this was our bad luck and that they would not honor their verbal agreement as there was no way we could prove that any of this transpired and we would lose any small claims if we attempted to seek a refund. Please! Do not use this company. They are thieves at best. It is a shame too, because we always want to support local.

When I asked about this the woman at the counter blamed the ruined buttons on me by saying, "You should've asked me to wrap them in tinfoil. That's what people do." She said this repeatedly. I did not ask her to cover the buttons. I assumed she would. She then said, "Is this the first time you've had the jacket dry cleaned?", implying that I brought it in with ruined buttons. I asked,"Is there anything you can do about these buttons to fix them?" She said no and repeated it was my fault. I then said, "Do you review the item prior to cleaning it?" (For example, is it from Walmart or Neiman Marcus? Is it cotton or silk? Are the buttons cheap plastic or fancy metal?) She said, "No we don't. We have too many customers for that." And then blamed me a few more times. At that point I said, "You know you've ruined the buttons on an expensive jacket. What you could've done is rather than blaming me, just say something like, "Hey I'm sorry this happened. I'm happy to replace the buttons." She then started to sarcastically and repeatedly bow down saying, "Oh I'm so sorry oh I'm so sorry oh I'm so sorry; is that what you wanna hear? oh I'm so sorry." I then said, "This is terrible customer service. You are blaming me for something you did incorrectly." She then repeatedly denied blaming me. For Pete's sake, they are dry cleaners. That's what they do. They dry clean clothes. Cheap ones and expensive ones and all kinds of clothes It's not brain surgery. Take an extra moment to make sure that you do it right. But blame the customer? Make it make sense. For $10 of replacement buttons, she's lost a customer worth countless dollars not to mention bad press. As you can imagine, there were other words said but I've given you the gist of it. This company may be fine for laundering shirts I guess but do not bring in anything that is of any value because simply you are putting it at risk. It may come out fine. It may be damaged. Either way, they don't care. They feel no responsibility for anything.
