When we were looking for a local cinema to see Ne Zha 2 for the second time, this time with English dubbing, we were happy to find Landmark at the Glen! It replaced Arclight which was in a decline. The cinema had been renovated 2 years ago. It was a Thursday afternoon, and the cinema was pretty quiet. There were big kiosks for ticket purchases, and the process was quick and easy. We got a small bag (which was not too small) for $10 plus tax, a little pricy for popcorn, but it was good. The popcorn guy was friendly, and he also doubled as the guy to collect our ticket stubs, and informed us which cinema room to go to. We were there for the preview of the movie, and we got the entire cinema #5 to the 3 of us! While the lobby and hallways of the cinema was nice and cool, this room was a little too warm. We totally understood that they would not cool down an entire room when there was no audience inside. I went to talk to the popcorn guy about the air temperature issue, and he promised to have it adjusted. As I went back to the cinema room. We could feel that cool air started to come out, and it was comfortable for the rest of the showing. The chairs were big, clean, and comfortable. Sound and picture were great. The movie itself was enjoyable just like the first time, and the English dubbing was perfect. The entire cinema was very clean. I was especially pleased with their restrooms being spotless clean. There is a bar in the lobby, and across from it was the biggest poster I've ever seen in a cinema lobby, it was a colorful digital poster of Ne Zha 2, very appropriate for such a spectacular movie. When we left the cinema after seeing the movie, there was another guy at the hallway collecting ticket stubs, and there was obviously more audience coming in. We enjoyed this cinema experience very much, and would definitely return to see other movies in the future. read more

I dragged my 9 year old son to see Wicked 2 (soooo good) and AMC was totally booked so I figured a good opportunity to check out Landmark at the Glen: The good: - plenty of seats to choose from when there's a big movie premiere like Wicked 2 - There's plenty of restaurants in the Glen to grab a bite to eat before or after seeing a movie The OK: - Parking at the Glen always proves to be a little challenging so get there early. I tend to have better luck finding spots in their parking garages. -the seats lean back, but not nearly as comfortable as the AMC seats and you can't put your legs up - I was hoping for a big wicked promotional area for a fun pic, but no such luck. I like that we have a few choices when it comes to theaters in the north shore, but since movies aren't in theaters long these days it's nice to make going to the movies an extra special experience. While this was fine, it lacked the specialness. read more

I hadn't been to this theatre since it changed ownership to Landmark. Their rewards program is great, so I signed up. My parents and I saw the final Downton Abbey film on a Saturday matinee. Even though the seats on our tickets were numbered, I didn't see any numbers on the actual chairs. It wasn't a problem, though, since no one else was in our row. The staff was friendly and helpful. The popcorn was okay, but since I'm vegan, I was disappointed that the buttery topping actually contains dairy. When the previews came on, they were loud. The movie, however, was a little too quiet. The seats were average, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked. Even though I am giving the theatre only 3 stars, I plan to return and try another film here! read more

My first review wasn't favorable. I guess it depends which theater you are in. Went today and was expecting the same seats that I had in another theater. These seats were wonderful. Adjustable back, front adjustable and foot rest. Not sure why all theaters don't have this option. For a 4 hour opera with intermission, it makes a difference. Looking forward to returning. Hopefully, it will be in the same theater. read more

We've been going here for years and love how peaceful and beautiful it always is. But in the past few years they remodeled and now the seats are better. The two smallest theaters have power reclining chairs with power footrests which are large and comfortable. I also like that we can choose our seats when purchasing the ticket which also helps show us how crowded the show will be. There are comfy chairs and couches in the theater area as well as a full bar in the entrance area with high boys. Although it's not a big theater, there are two bathrooms for women and two for men so there's never a wait and if you need to pee mid movie, there's always a bathroom very close so you don't miss much of the movie. It's also in a great area with free garage parking which can get a bit full late on a Saturday night but always some spots and early in the evening, lots of availability. The Glen is a beautiful area to walk around before or after the show, with many restaurants if you're doing dinner and a movie. read more

First time in the area and decided to see a movie. Great cinema with comfy seats. We were the only ones in the theatre. I would have given 5 stars but the tickets are expensive for a midday movie...thought we would have gotten matinee prices for a 240pm film. Either way, we enjoyed our experience and would go back! read more

Generally nice - this is my usual 'main' theatre to attend. Previews are less obnoxious than AMC for example. But twice now, sound or picture quality has been lacking. I saw Jurrassic Park Rebirth last night, but the sound system was not right; it was soft and I think the subs were completely missing. You could hear everything, but it was definitely wasn't what one expects on the big screen. Hopefully they get this sorted out; it's a great place and location. read more

The chairs are great. Historic location. Nice lobby. Maybe it's different on the weekend, but there was clearly no usher present as the theater and many seats were filthy. I say this as someone who worked at a movie theater in high school. Hire more staff! I'll come back at some point on a weekend but until then we'll try the AMC's and Old Orchard. read more

Speakers seem to be broken in theatres. Only plays from left side and volume is super low.

Me and my wife came here at 245pm on a Saturday afternoon. The prices show $11 and change, but we we're charged$13.50. When we brought this up to the supervisor, she didn't help, she just blew us off. When I told her what is advertised on the screens, she ignored me. Horrible customer service, very disrespectful people. I find it hard to believe businesses would treat their customers like this. This is not a place I would ever want to come back to. read more

Stopped here to see Glass Onion when in town for the holidays. This theater is beautifully redone and in the heart of The Glenn. Easy to reserve seats online and find them in theater. Only downside is they're manually reclining seats, so they weren't as comfortable as the electric ones. Definitely would come back! read more

This is nice and very upscale. Nice upgrade from the previous version. I went to see avatar the way of water. I was really impressed. But only certain seats recline. That is not good. They should all recline. In theater 5 the railing and after toward the screen recline and the rest do not. What a shame. read more

Very nice, completely remodeled theater. Re-opened in November 2022 after Arclight went under during the pandemic. The lobby, hallways and theaters have all been fully remodeled and there is a bar in the lobby. Theaters have all new seats. Sound and picture were excellent as you would expect for a brand new theater. (Per their sign in the lobby, theaters 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 10 have recliners. Theaters 1, 3, 5 and 7 have traditional rocking seats, but also recliners in the front 2 rows.) You can order tickets online (with a "convenience fee") or you can avoid the fee by ordering tickets at the large, easy-to-use kiosks in the lobby. Discounts: Lower prices for matinees and weekdays. Discount tickets for seniors and kids. $8.50 tickets all day on Tuesdays. And free refills on large popcorn and soda. Parking: You can park on the street but that is hit or miss. I just park in the covered garage behind the theater. Plenty of spots there. Overall a great theater. I'm glad it reopened. I saw a couple of movies here in 2022 already and I'll be going here a lot in 2023 with all the new releases coming out. read more

Excellent theater! Clean theaters and washrooms! We enjoy the lounging seats, but know all theaters do not have those seats.

Just went to see Oppenheimer- firs time on theatre since Landmark reopened it ... not impressed (1) their ap was bad - took ages to get tickets- then a surcharge which you can avoid by jointing their loyalty club but could not join as the AP was not working! (2) no one was there at a desk to ask (3) it all staff seemed to be either teenagers or seniors (4) the theater was not vey clean- heard complaints for on another customer about the bathrooms not being clean (5) seats only reclined a little and we're not very comfortable and rows too close for knees (6) sound was too loud Movie was very good! HORRIBLE, as a single daddy with limited income. I spent my Christmas bonus sending my kids to the cinema on a Friday. It was over 90 Degrees and I could barely breathe. I tried to get a drink to cool me off but my last few dollars weren't enough to afford just a small drink to share. All I could enjoy was tue awesome movie we call puss in boots. read more
