History
Established in 1984.
In 1984, six developers had the idea to erect an all-suite resort high atop a bluff, a feat never before accomplished in Door County. In just four years, the Landmark would become the first rental condominium resort in the area.
From 1985 to 1988, the Flagship, Harbor, Charthouse, and Navigator buildings were built to accommodate guests with a variety of suite types and several amenities, as well as a restaurant offering fine dining and exquisite views. While the Landmark Resort has undergone several changes and renovations, the dedication to meeting our guests' every want and need has remained.
Today, we strive to make every experience at the Landmark Resort as memorable and treasured as a trip to Door County should be. Whether you're visiting for the first time or have been here since the very beginning, we are happy to have you staying with us!
