He kind of mumbled a lot during the initial interaction and then says "sometimes I just say things", which was a little weird... Back to the food it was mid at best, toast, hash browns were under cooked, cheese not melted all the way. Basically I could have made the same meal at home better. This is a nice small place hidden away in Midvale. The parking is shared with a few other businesses, so be mindful of when you go. I'd strongly recommend getting on their waitlist through their website so you can have a good idea of when you'll be seated. The place is a huge open room and there is no waiting lobby. The waiters all did look happy to be there and the food mostly matches what you would expect when looking at the menu. I had the meat lovers omelette with a side of hash browns, and the hash browns did come out a bit under seasoned. Easily fixable with the condiments available at our table, though. Fun breakfast out with my sisters today! First time here and would definitely come back! Cute little place. I'm not usually in the area but heard about them from some friends. We all have dietary restrictions and they were more than happy to accommodate! I got the cup of fruit and coffee. 8.75 out of 10. It was so good! Crazy busy on a Saturday morning but I appreciated that they were faster than they told us to get us seated. Great service, super understanding that we had a little one and needed to be out quick. It took maybe 10 minutes to get food but probably quicker. My husband got the Roadhouse and all the pork products were great, the sausage especially. I got the Eggs Benedict, great sauce and meat, I only wish my poached egg was a little more runny. Hash browns were good and crispy but could be more seasoned. It is absolutely packed so if you don't like being back to back while eating, maybe try a weekday on an off time. This is the diner I didn't know I needed. It's super casual: choose your seat when you come in. It's clean and simple and lively on the inside. I just loved the whole vibe. There's something for everyone on the menu. I am a fan of a sweet and savory breakfast, so the French Toast combo was perfect for me. I also love that the kids' options are $5 and include a drink. My son could have his own eggs, French toast, sausage, and some milk. Our server was very quick. It was clear he was happy to be there, which makes such a difference. Our food came out within minutes, which is always great when you have other places to get to. I loved the crispy bacon. The homemade syrup was different, but good. My only small criticism is that the eggs were kind of dry. They could cook them a little less, for my taste anyway. Generally though I really loved this whole experience and will be so glad to come back. I've lived in this area for 11 years and have been meaning to try this spot for the last handful of years. The food here is excellent. A good selection of classic American comfort breakfast. The highlight is the "Original Nick's Roundhouse" which to old time Salt Lakers will be familiar. This is my second time going to Landmark Grill and my experience was as just as great the second time as it was the first. My son and his friend wanted pancakes and I did not want to patronize the blue chain place so we ended up here. The individual who took our name down was super friendly and attentive, almost felt like an old friend. The boys both ordered pancake combo meals and practically devoured it, hence no pictures. Came here when I was looking for a quick and easy breakfast situation as I was in Utah visiting friends. Although there were various places this place stood out to me via Yelp reviews. And the rave were all right, there is a waitlist, so make sure to come early for a seat. The wait time was not bad, they told us 10 minutes but sat us down in 1 minute. The service is sooooo fast and everyone is so nice. As in, every 2-3 minutes we had at least a server asking us if we needed anything. Parking lot is provided and plenty of parking. The food is pretty great, had the Texas toast, chicken steak, egg, cheese and gravy. Their coffee that day was a little bland but my experience and food otherwise was a 100%. read more

Did the "wait list" option en route and arrived just as our arrival time was relayed. As usual, Andrew (partner with Laurie) got us seated immediately (big crowd waiting) so the "wait list" is a good option. Gf had Lamb Gyro which looked great with the sauce (Tzatziki, sp?) oozing out the side, the way it should be. My Rocky Mountain omelet was great, as usual, but today was a first. I usually ask for hash browns to be well done/crispy and the answer has always been, "I'll make the request but no guarantees" and they're usually under-cooked. Today, waiter Tyler didn't give me the usual comment when I asked for them to be well done/crispy and, lo and behold, they were actually well done and somewhat crispy (its getting better) and my suggestion is to flip them over to get them well done/crispy on both sides (a kinda/sorta minor issue with me, anyway). But overall the usual excellent experience for both of us. The new place looks great and the workers were busy but seemed to be enjoying their job(s). Lots of very happy customers. read more

This is such a great little breakfast spot. It's a bit hard to find at first, kind of hidden, but also in the open. We ate outside last time, and it was the perfect weather for it, early autumn, and still a little warm when in the sun. Our server was seriously amazing. Walked in and had one the friendliest greetings I've ever had at a breakfast place. Grabbed a seat, and had drinks at the table within two minutes. Our server was so sweet and friendly as well. I ordered an Eggs Benedict and my boy friend had a (ginormous) Ham and Cheese omelette with hash browns and a pancake, and all came out super fast, and very delicious. Although we live in Southeast Idaho, we will be making this one of favorite breakfast joints when visiting the SLC area. Highly recommend! read more
