We are grateful to Landmark Construction. My husband discovered a fractured plumbing PVC pipe in our attic & finished replacing it late Tuesday afternoon. Just then he realized it continued through our expensive steel roof & there was a gap between the steel roof & the pipe. The weather called for hours of rain for yesterday. What to do? Jimmy was so easy to work with & had terrific people skills on the phone. We were also delighted that Jimmy sent Eric out to finish the fix on the roof when he said he would yesterday afternoon. Eric was conscientious enough to fix a small crack on another pipe while on the roof. This was problem solving of the highest order for us. read more

Landmark Construction continues to lie just to make themselves better. I cannot post a comment in reference to their response so I'll put the comment here. Angela R./Manager and Mitch, please show me the call logs where "you say my husband called multiple times into the night." You don't have those call logs because it didn't happen. Mitch was very unprofessional when he came to our house after a tree had fallen on it putting us out of our home for 7 months. My husband was not belligerent or drunk. Just because someone gets off work and has 1 beer to decompress from a long day of work AND a tree falling on our house making us unable to live in the home, does not make him drunk or belligerent. Mitch's terrible attitude was the problem in a very stressful situation. When they did remove the tree they drove all over my front yard with a bobcat, tearing the driveway and front yard up. I have proof of that and my insurance company is having to pay to fix everything due to Landmark's incompetence. I will never use that company again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them either. Angela R./Manager and Mitch, stop lying and bad mouthing us. Unless you have proof, keep your mouth shut! Several power outlets in our rental property were not working, and Landmark Constructions was contracted to repair them. They addressed the issue in a timely manner, answered all of my questions, explained what caused the problem, and corrected it immediately. This company takes the phrase "cutting corners" to new, literal levels. If you get nothing else from my review, get this: use anyone but Landmark. This company dragged my relatively small project on for months. The employees are nice enough, but are unbelievably slow and inept. More than once, I had to call the main office to "tattle" on Ben, the project manager, who had gone totally AWOL and would not communicate despite my house being in complete disarray thanks to his project management. Installing quarter round proved too difficult for this company. They had to come out over 4 separate times to complete this job. They literally skipped parts of the wall because there was furniture or a floor mat in front of it. They skipped the kitchen entirely. And when they did return to install it there, they literally just left giant gaps in each corner without joining the pieces together. They were dumbfounded that I wanted the quarter round to join at the corners. WTF! They destroyed 2 toilet lids by putting tools on them. They re-seated toilets crooked and rocking and leaking. They left the closet bolts uncovered and did a caulking job you'd expect from a toddler. There are places in the laminate floor with visible gaps between planks. There were gouges in it that they filled with wood filler and called it a day. They did a sloppy paint job in both bathrooms (at least they got the color right, though). It was unbelievable how many times these people had to come back to my house to fix their screw-ups and even now, a year later, I'm still finding fresh, mind-boggling issues. If you care about your house at all, use someone else. read more

So we had a water leak inside my kitchen wall when I came home from work. Plenty of water ended up underneath the flooring, under some cabinets and soaked into the drywall. Landmark came out surprisingly quick after a call to State Farm and got to work finding my leak and drying my house out. Everybody was fast and professional and I can't be more appreciative. They do great work with excellent staff. Very customer focused and polite. I had a broken leg during the time I used Landmark's services. I was very impressed by the caring attitude of the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my needs were meet but they did the extra things that really showed their character. They would make sure my wheelchairs and walkers were accessible and offered to do little things like bring in the mail or packages. I am 100% pleased with their service and quality. This is a follow-up from a previous review. Since then Lewis has came back out to fix my storm door and took a look at the other damages to be repaired. His attitude was much better than before. I guess sometimes people go through things that we have no idea. We all have bad days, So I'm giving him a better review today til the work is finished, then I'll come back with my final review.
