4yrs ago an emormous tree had fallen down onto my home, crashing through the ceiling and into my kitchen. I had been working at a bank at the time, and i needed someone to come to fix the hole and ceiling inside my home. One of my customers, was Discount Roofing at the time. I called and they came out immediately and gave me a professional and honest FREE estimate. I did check around, about 3 other estimates, and they were the cheapest. They came out the day they said they would, worked hard and made sure that it was all to my liking. The ceiling in my living room and kitchen was beautiful when they finished! I wished they could've kept going throughout the whole house! lol I loved their professional, courteous and kind work ethic that was shown to me and shortly after they were finished, I started working for them! The people that run Discount Roofing are amazing. They are professional, friendly and absolutely competent. I would hire them again if and when I need their service. My roof looks fantastic. Thank you Ray and Marnie and the crew. After they finished my roof, Marnie and Ray came over late in the evening to clean up the yard, pick up trash and sweep the drive way. And while they were there, Ray noticed a branch of my oak tree fell but did not fall on the ground; immediately, they went to work (for free). They used a ladder, tied a rope to the branch and used their truck to pull it down. A few days later, a piece of metal sheet that was used to protect the wood frame of the house fell down because of the strong wind, I told them about that. Again, Ray and Marnie came back and got it done for me (free of charge). Who else out there would do that? Nobody! I love these people and highly recommend them to everyone in Memphis. They were timely in coming to do an estimate on our garage and the work was great. They even accommodated a couple special requests about roofing color and style without raising the price. I am impressed with their cleanup - after being here the backyard is spic and span so there are no nails or leftover rubbish for our toddler to get into. As someone who knows very little about home repair, it was wonderful to have Ray and Marnie explain so much about decking and wood and how the process works. I have never been more impressed with a company coming to work on my house. Marnie at the main office was so sweet and helpful. Ray came out right when he said he would, checked out what was causing the leak in my roof, and gave me a solution within 15 minutes. Not only was the cost and cause of the fix so much smaller than I anticipated, as soon as I gave the okay, he went back up, fixed it, and showed me the before and after pictures. Excellent service! I called them about a leak in my roof and they came out to look at it THAT DAY. They came back the next day to make repairs. Every time it rained over the next week they called to make sure it wasn't leaking. They were so friendly and explained the entire process to me.
