Pho Combo #1, pork no chicken. Egg Rolls.
Trinity P.

Love this place, it hits every time. I get the Pho combo #1, pork only, and the egg rolls. Pho comes with veggies on the side to add in. Super good, fresh, and the pork melts in your mouth. Cute atmosphere and a great outdoor seating area. They have a good selection of beer as well. Staff is always kind and quick. A must try.

Fried rice combo #3. I subbed the steamed rice for the fried rice and loved it!

This place is lovely! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is friendly. I dined here for the first time last night and had a great experience. I ordered a glass of white wine and it was tasty. I decided on the fried rice combo #3 with tofu and steamed rice and it was delicious! I really loved the hot honey mustard sauce. My friends ordered the chili noodles and it looked fantastic as well. I plan on ordering that next time! I will return!

Very pleasantly surprised at this place! We stopped by here on the way from a road trip through Tennessee and was craving a good meal. We found this place in Knoxville and decided to try. The restaurant is located at the end of a street, we parked right in front on the street. It had cute outdoor seating and a fire pit but it was later and chillier in the night so most people were inside eating. The restaurant is truly in a house, which we found very charming. The different rooms had some seating. We were sat in the front first room which had four to five tables. The room behind us had a bar and a few tables as well. The table comes with a few sauces (hoisin, chili, and fish sauce) which you could use to add to your meal. For appetizer we ordered the fried tofu and eggplant which was nicely crispy without being overly breaded or fried. We ordered the combo 4 and the crispy chili noodles for our main meal, both of which were flavorful and definitely had "wok hei" - you could taste the flavors in the combo 4 which had rice, potatoes, beef, shrimp and something crispy to give it texture. The chili noodles were tasty and had a kick to it, with plenty of baby corn, string beans and veggies. Only complaint is that some of the food was too salty for our liking/what were used to, but nothing deal breaking. Overall impressed with this place and would stop by again if we ever are in the area.

I think I missed this place because earlier versions of their menu were did not clearly indicate anything about suitability for special dietary needs. The menu I saw as of this writing contained ample options with clear markings regarding vegan and gluten-free concerns, and when I ordered a Thai Tea with my food, I was warned that it had dairy in it. So they now get an A from a vegetarian perspective. The location is quite strange; a residential-looking building next to a complicated intersection with no obvious parking nearby (the park near the river is a good bet). It is a splendidly artsy house, with some exceptions (see below). The food delivered everything I could have asked for it. I have long sought a Cambodian restaurant as the cuisine has not mainstreamed in the U.S. as other Southeast Asian cultures have. The salad I ordered was magnificent, resembling the complexity of flavors and shredded ingredients I'd get at Burmese restaurants, with some delightful clear mushrooms, hearty peanuts, and a fruity vegan dressing. I ordered this place's version of pho, more like a Vietnamese style dish, partially because it was slightly discounted as a lunch special. It was an excellent rendition, with nicely braised vegetables and fresh garnishes on the side. A word of warning: they have what I think is housemade hot sauce at the table, and it is ferocious. I've ordered the maximum spice level at more Asian restaurants than most people will ever visit, and it usually bores me, but one small spoonful of this stuff lit up my entire bowl of pho and thoroughly cleared my sinuses. I'm not saying it wasn't delicious, but exercise caution. The Thai iced tea was tasty, if perhaps a bit too sweet, and I consequently skipped what might have been a very nice dessert. I would rarely comment on it, but the restaurant's messaging on social and political issues was obtrusive and misguided. I'm rating the food, but I would have hoped that people with ties to Cambodia would realize how bad politics can get and would exercise restraint. They have their free speech rights here in the U.S. of course, and I ate my food, left the tip I normally would, and got on with life.

"Don't judge a book by its cover.", applies to this place! I found it on the HappyCow app, and am so glad I went and checked it out! The food here was incredible, and the vibe was unmatched by anywhere I've been before!!!!!! I had the chili crisp noodles, and I'll definitely be fighting the urge to go back and order the same dish again! I'm only here in Knoxville through Saturday morning, and the chances are definitely high that I'll go back, but I want to try some of the other menu items! Experiences like this one are why you stray away from chain restaurants when you're out of town so you can find hidden gems like this!

This Asian fusion restaurant has a large outdoor area with tables as well as lots of seating inside the house. We came from a recommendation of a local and it was delicious! We ordered two Thai iced teas, papaya salad, pork rinds, kimchee rice with pork belly and fried tofu and eggplant. Everything was cooked to perfection!

Kimchi Rice, fried spring rolls, and crispy chili noodles

My love affair with Landing House continues.. This place is so welcoming! It is a old home turned restaurant & bar with a large outdoor seating area on the front lawn. The staff always greets you with the warmest hello & they serve the most impeccable food. And beware, the food packs a punch (spice-wise)! The chili crisp noodles are my go to, so yummy. The flavor palate is diverse and so crafty! My boyfriend changes dishes, but this time he had the kimchi rice & he loved it! We shared the fried spring rolls (with pork) and those were AMAZING! Seriously, if you go, don't miss out on those. Pretty much everything both drink and food from Landing House has been amazing. Truly one of my favorite Knoxville spots!

Set up in a large house, the ambiance is hip with creaky stairs and floors. Not familiar with Cambodian food in general but was excited to try fusion flavors. I would say the hits outweigh the misses on this menu, will definitely be back but learned which menu items I'm not interested in. Bao - I knew this was a fusion dish but the bread was a miss for me. It is basically a slider. Flavors were just ok, but I personally prefer the softer texture of a traditional bun. Mocktails- love that they have 4 mocktails. Rahla Abdul had a nice gentle jalapeño flavor for me, this was a hit. Loaded rice tots- crispy rice with fixings including house ranch, enjoyed for the novelty of it but will likely stick with the fried egg rolls next time Fried egg rolls- more traditional/typical, crispy and loved the savory filling The ultimate and the reason I will be visiting again: the chili crisp noodles. Y'all weren't over hyping these on yelp. Saucy spicy tender and warm, I will be dreaming of this dish until I return! Awesome job on this. Savory spicy chili crisp with the sauce laden noodles was an absolute hit for me.

Went here a couple of months ago for dinner with family and had a great time! I tried the fried spring rolls, chili crisp noodles, and pork belly. Everything was delicious, especially the spring rolls.

My mom said Asia Kitchen is the best Chinese in the city now. Unfortunately if that is correct, then it makes me very sad. I have eaten at "Real" Chinese restaurants before and this is not close imo. I got Szechuan Beef...this is supposed to be a very spicy dish. My order was not spicy at all...not saying it was bland, but it didn't have the "kick" I was expecting. My mom shared a whole steamed fish with her friends. They did enjoy it, but it wasn't for me. I have decided to bump my rating up to four stars because of the wonton/egg drop soup. I didn't even realize this was a thing. We got one large serving and it was plenty for the table. Finally the reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the table service. The others brought wine , but i ordered a Diet Coke when we were seated. Unfortunately it never arrived...our server acknowledged my order, but I guess she forgot during the dinner rush. I did have water so I didn't complain. Overall dinner was ok...it was very nice that we were allowed to take our time.

We ordered a LOT so we could sample things- it was about $74 and around $84 after tax's and fees. Ordered was (also note combos include egg roll and either a type of rice Pelli mein): -Beef and broccoli combo white rice -Chicken lomein combo chicken fried rice -Egg drop soup -Extra egg rolls -Pork egg foo young -And moo goo with no mushrooms The eggs rolls are AMAZING! Would totally eat 10. Egg foo young was good and the sauce was interesting. It didn't taste like traditional brown sauce and had more of an almost sweet flavor but very slight, and the color was like chicken gravy and not even brown. Lo mein was good and had decent flavor, but border line bland. The white rice was nice and fluffy and not hard. As for the chicken fried rice it was very bland and very dry-super disappointed in that. Beef and broccoli combo with white rice was good and had good flavor. Food portions are small. The combination platters are not shareable so just a heads up. I would say overall the food flavor was decent but my normal Chinese place, there is a lot more flavor so I don't think we will be back as it wasn't quite worth the almost 40 minute drive to and then 50+ back home with traffic. But if you're close and want some decent inexpensive Chinese food-this is your spot to try! Oh and note if you're doing take out- you have to order and pay $1 for sauces. We got no sauces with our egg rolls and I noticed after you have to purchase them in packs. UPDATE: I have never in my life experienced such bad bloating! My brother and I both got sick after eating! We both look 8 months pregnant and have never experienced anything like it! Changed my rating to 2 stars!

There are several nearby lots also pay-to-park but some may be free on weekends. Kaizen appears to me to be more akin to an Izakaya than a noodle hosue, where you basically go for drinks and they supply some food to keep things going - it has a more expansive menu than an Izakaya (which tends to be yakitori and sushi) - Kaizen's menu features several noodle dishes which all looked very interesting. We started with the appetizers and ordered some mixed steamed buns and soup. All of the buns that I tried I liked quite a bit - some strong, distinctive flavors. For an entree I ordered the Koji-Cured Ribeye medium-rare - 12 oz sliced ribeye, gai lan, broad bean paste, steamed rice. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional - the next night we tried Fin-Two Japanese Ale House across the street - this restaurant was my preference - the flavors seemed more authentic and the quality of the dishes better in my opinion.
