The pain from my lower back then caused sciatic pain. The pain was so bad to the point every step I took, I felt pain down my left leg. My lower back was so compressed. I decided to try the Ring Dinger for the first time and wow, I had instant relief! It's like having the Y strap effect go all the way down to your lower back. I'm so glad I trusted Dr. Bantique and tried it. My sciatic pain went from 100% to honestly 10% and seems to be getting better. I will continue to see Dr. Bantique and recommend him to all my family, friends, and co workers. Thank you for making a difference Dr. Bantique!

Update: After posting this review, Dr. Baratta reached out to me personally to explain what…read morehappened and to apologize. I genuinely appreciated him taking the time to contact me directly -- it meant a lot to hear from him and to know he cared enough to follow up. My feelings about the situation haven't changed, simply because finding out by text while trying to schedule my next appointment was unexpected after being a consistent patient for so long. But I do want to acknowledge his message and the sincerity behind it. I've always had positive experiences with him and his team, and I will truly miss this office and the care I received. The bigger issue here is the system itself. Our health insurance landscape has become so chaotic and unpredictable that both patients and providers end up caught in the crossfire. It puts everyone in impossible positions, and this was one of those moments where the system failed all of us. I appreciate that he reached out -- and I also think it's important to name how these insurance changes impact real people on both sides.

Last summer, I was involved in a rear-end collision that resulted in a severe neck injury,…read moreincluding numbness in my limbs. I initially sought treatment through my primary care doctor and was referred to physical therapy every six weeks. Unfortunately, despite following the recommended exercises, I saw little to no improvement. I voiced my concerns to my attorney, explaining that the treatment plan wasn't working. She then referred me to Dr. Tai at Lighthouse Chiropractic, and that referral truly changed everything. From day one, Dr. Tai was compassionate, attentive, and thorough. He took the time to truly listen to my symptoms and focused on addressing my specific issues. Unlike my primary doctor, who wanted me to continue months of PT before further evaluation, Dr. Tai promptly referred me for an MRI. The results confirmed the extent of my injuries and allowed him to tailor my care appropriately. After a couple of months of targeted treatment, Dr. Tai referred me to a pain specialist to further support my recovery. Now, six months later, my injuries have been properly addressed, and I'm feeling significantly better. While recovery hasn't been easy, my pain is much more manageable, and my quality of life has greatly improved. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic doctor who truly advocates for their patients, I highly recommend Dr. Tai at Lighthouse Chiropractic. Thank you, Dr. Tai--another very satisfied patient.

After spending quite a bit of money by seeing my previous chiropractor (for roughly 2 months), I…read morehad one of two options for my herniated disc/sciatic nerve pain; one was continuing to do business with them by paying $55/weekly which was just over $200/month. Or the more cost-effective route was jumping ship to a whole new chiropractor. After researching both independent and well-known chiropractor offices in the greater Sacramento area, I finally settled with "The Joint Chiropractic" in Citrus Heights. Located directly on the corner of Madison Ave/Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights, this location has been around since 2017. Many of you already know this but The Joint is a nationwide business and (as of mid-2026), they have over 500 locations across the United States. This can definitely have its ups and downs including available timeslots, reputable/reliable staff, and the interpersonal care with the customers. The primary reason why I signed up was definitely the price as they were offering a $29 new patient special as this included the consultation, exam, and adjustment. However, signing up with that $29 price means that you are obligated to purchase a specific plan for a future visit. Since I was already going 3-4 times a month to my previous chiropractor, I opted for the "Wellness Plan" which costs $89/month for up to 4 visits. I ended up coming here during the morning of Saturday 5/23/2026 at around 10:15am. Since I had scheduled my appointment online for 10:30am (which was initially a walk-in appointment and adjustment), I had no idea how long this was going to take. After checking in and filling out my new patient registration form (through an iPad), I waited in the lobby until I was told by the receptionist that I would be up next. Total time from when I walked in until I was seen was about 30 minutes; not too bad for a Saturday morning. What is quite intriguing and could possibly draw people away is that you can see every patient getting their adjustments. No curtain, no drape, just an open layout which I found to be quite perplexing. I don't know if all locations are like this but my guess is that quite a few new patients might be caught off guard. Once it was my turn to get adjusted, I was seen by the chiropractor, Dr. Robert Jaeger. He had me do a variety of stretches and when it was time for me to get adjusted, he worked my lower back, lower legs, and neck area. He also asked me quite a few questions regarding the types of pains I have experienced. Once he was able to make the right adjustments, I felt quite relieved that he had done an above average job. Once my exam was completed, Dr. Jaeger gave me a rundown of how often I should be going back, in this case several times a month and as I mentioned in the 2nd paragraph, I went with the 4 visits a month for $89. Otherwise, you can pay for one visit for $55 or a 6-visit package (that you can use anytime) for $209. It really comes down to how often your body needs to get adjusted. With that said and done, I am giving "The Joint Chiropractic" in Citrus Heights a respectful four stars. My advice is to come during the less busier times as this would prevent long wait times before you are seen. I also wanted to point out that their hours are quite generous as they are open 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday from 10am-7pm while they are out to lunch from 2-2:45pm. However, if you go a few miles down Sunrise to their Gold River location, they are also open on Sunday. All in all, this place is getting the job done and at half the price what I was paying before. We will see how things go long term with an updated review!

Jump forward to the spring of 2026 and for the first time in my life, I went to see a private chiropractor. However, that proved to be way too expensive and had to look elsewhere. And in May 2026, I finally signed up for a 3-month membership at "The Joint" Chiropractic. My home base location is off of Madison/Sunrise in Citrus Heights but after being out of town on Friday/Saturday, I needed to get an adjustment on Sunday. There is where "The Joint Gold River" came in handy as they are the only location in my area that is currently opened on Sundays. Located directly off on Sunrise Ave and Golden Centre Lane in the Golden Towne Centre, this particular office has been in operation dating back to 2013. And since it is smack dab in between my office and home, it is a perfect location in case I needed to get my adjustment on my way home from work. The primary chiropractor here is Dr. Roger Brisbane who has been practicing since 1991 and has helped thousands of patients over the decades. If you are familiar with The Joint and are an active member, they simply scan your membership card and you wait until it is your turn. Since it is a first-come, first-serve basis, you may be seen immediately or experience a small wait time. I came during the afternoon on Sunday 6/21/2026 at around 12:20pm and was done with my adjustment by 12:45pm. I will say that Dr. Brisbane really helped alleviate a lot of the back pain that I was experiencing and did a fantastic job. He was able to use the proper methods and techniques to make sure all of my toxins were being released; primarily around the lower back and neck areas. Since every chiropractor is a little different, it can vary from one place to the next. I also wanted to say that the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating as she was positive and helpful. Sadly major retailers such as Starbucks and Bel Air have shuttered in 2026 as well as an Outback Steakhouse back in 2020. However, "The Joint Gold River" was a breath of fresh air as I felt much better after my adjustment. My rating, a unanimous five stars.
