I genuinely appreciated him taking the time to contact me directly -- it meant a lot to hear from him and to know he cared enough to follow up. My feelings about the situation haven't changed, simply because finding out by text while trying to schedule my next appointment was unexpected after being a consistent patient for so long. But I do want to acknowledge his message and the sincerity behind it. I've always had positive experiences with him and his team, and I will truly miss this office and the care I received. The bigger issue here is the system itself. Our health insurance landscape has become so chaotic and unpredictable that both patients and providers end up caught in the crossfire. It puts everyone in impossible positions, and this was one of those moments where the system failed all of us. He does a thorough history and evaluation during your first appointment and really listens to your concerns, as well as assessing your gait, spine, and takes X-rays (in office ) to visualize the area of concern. Dr. Baratta will NOT do any adjusting if X-rays have questionable areas and will wait for clearance after further testing is done and proves it is safe to proceed. We absolutely love this office. Dr. Baratta and his staff are kind, compassionate, and skilled. My 12-year-old son runs cross country and track. I know Dr. Baratta treats patients of all ages, but I want to share the significant difference he has made in our son's life. His running and overall physical functioning as a student-athlete have been enhanced by regular treatments and some problem-focused appointments as needed. My son asks when we are going back; he notices the positive results from treatment, and when he feels something is out of whack from an injury, he insists I call. The front staff is wonderful. I came to Dr. Barratta with a neck problem as a result of a car accident. Dr. Barratta explained the damages to my neck and offered me a course of treatment. He was always interested in how I was feeling and he was extremely gentle when making adjustments. This review is long overdue. Dr. Baratta has been my family's chiropractor for over 24 years and he has always given us relief. I remember sitting in his office as a child while my mom went in for her adjustments and then when I became an adult and started experiencing back pain too, he helped me tremendously. Now that I'm married, I've referred my husband, and he says he is the best chiropractor he has ever seen. Even when we have experienced sudden pain and need help urgently, he always makes the effort to squeeze us in. Besides his expertise and just being an overall super nice person, the atmosphere in his office is also fantastic. Monica has always been very welcoming and, as other reviews have said, always remembers what you talk about and takes a genuine interest in you. Chantel is also very helpful and a genuine person! Lauren is the only massage therapist I will see. It is literally the best and most effective massages I have ever had and she is very knowledgeable about her work. I haven't met Veaney yet but I'm sure she's also very nice and highly skilled!! This is a great office if you are experiencing any back pain or discomfort check them out!!
