I had an early morning Saturday session with Gonzalo (G), after need of work. Before starting G and I went discussed my old issues and if any of that was still a problem, and anything new that he should be aware of, and or focus on. Old issues we worked on during my session, but started on the newer issues, which were the reason for making this recent amount. During my session G focused on new and old issues alike, using a series of different tools and practices. From cupping, to scraping (Graston) and other Istrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) to stretching and manual massage. Dr. Dave is the best! He helped me throughout my healing journey, reminding me that it's a marathon not a race. I did not have any injury coming here. My issue is a bit embarrassing but Dr. Dave listened and made me feel comfortable. He never doubted me or gave up on me. They do not insure through Kaiser, but they give reasonable discounts. This was my first time for an adjustment and I felt very comfortable. Throughout my treatment, Dr. Dave changes up his adjustment on me depending on how my back is feeling. It's not just a one and done go through the same motions. He actually is looking for what methods to perform for best results. We started slow on the decompression table and built up the settings. I absolutely love this machine and waiting to build up to the desired setting feels like an accomplishment. Dr. Dave is also very accommodating for me when I ask for an extra ice pack for my back. After a dozen or so sessions, entering the practice feels more like visiting a friend's house. The reception is warm, the ladies are so lovely and professional. They are very understanding of me when I've had to reschedule multiple times. I never felt like an inconvenience. The dogs walk around as well, and it's hard to resist giving them attention. True therapy dogs. Seeing and talking to Dr. Dave and crew has become so natural, not awkward like visiting your regular doctor that you see maybe once a year. After my sessions, I've been feeling so much better and my issue cleared up. Now when I come in for my occasional adjustment, I look forward to catching up on conversations with Dr. Dave about sports and event life. So I came in here this morning after injuring my back last week at the gym. I love the fact that they're open through this week of 12/28 and are able to treat people with complaints like mine. Check in was a breeze, although their entrance door is a little tricky for a first timer, so plan to get there little early to find your way in without being late. For my first visit today I saw Dr. Tyler, who listened attentively to my full injury history, complaints and concerns before he started explaining how he'd go about treating my injury. After extensive work on my back, Dr Tyler walked me over to the spine, decompression room, explained how the device works and then help me get situated and started. He started me on the lowest setting, and as I was laying there I couldn't help think to myself that maybe I should've asked him to start me on a higher setting to fix me up quickly. At the end of the session, one of the office assistants helped untie, and and as I was getting up, I felt something funny at the place of my back injury. I was asked to lay down for a couple more minutes and Dr. Tyler rushed over to my room to check in on me. Few minutes later, I was able to get up and walk out. Dr Tyler asked me to walk around the parking lot a little bit before getting into my car and driving home. I wrote that story because there may be someone else out there (like myself) may think that asking for the highest setting upfront will fix them quicker, and that's the wrong way to go about it. It's also important to realize that if you're coming with an injury, the experience on this device may feel a little funny after treatment. I'm writing this review two hours post treatment, feeling a lot better And able to walk around with a much less degree of pain. Went in for the first time as a birthday gift to myself. I saw Dr Tyler and it was an amazing experience. I called the day before and I was so glad they were able to fit me in the next day (birthday day!). I've never been to the chiropractor and this is the first time I've been able to fit this kind of care into my budget as an adult. I was diagnosed with scoliosis during my early teens, and also suffered a bad concussion, too. I take ADHD meds regularly and deal with some mental health issues, as well. As Dr Tyler stated, my nervous system is very much overwhelmed despite me incorporating accommodations and care into my lifestyle regularly. We took some X-rays since i haven't done any in a long time to see how my spine was looking. Then, we did some adjustments! Total was 160 which i thought was reasonable, and also fit into my budget. Dr Tyler gave me some exercises to do at home, and we scheduled a return visit to talk about the X-rays and care moving forward. Great! When I started treatment with Dr. Tyler, I was experiencing debilitating post-concussive symptoms and needed treatment for a herniated disc in my neck. (I had had a terrible fall and a car accident.) Dr. Tyler was positive, listened, and shared great insight to different modalities on helping me recover. The consistent adjustments were helpful in my healing. Dr. Tyler believed that we could get me back to doing work that I loved and I honestly didn't believe him. Dr. Tyler was great. He was thorough in the initial examination and treatment. He did much more than my old chiro did who has now retired. I'm glad I found this place because chiro offices are the only place I can find professional-strength BioFreeze. I love the fact that the office loves their pets and brings them to the office sometimes. They have plenty of rooms and they seem to be busy all the time. They have their own parking lot and there is PLENTY of street parking around the building. It's also close to food, coffee shops, and restaurants in the area. They're open full days MWF and TTh they're only open 2-6 pm. I extra appreciate that Dr. Tyler accepted an appointment for me earlier than before they were supposed to be opened. The chiropractic care is just ok. The Dr. was pleasant enough, but I've definitely had better, more in depth and detail oriented chiropractors. But what really put me off was the Dr.'s constant attempts to upsell for their decompression treatments, which are very expensive. I only had one treatment so cannot speak to efficacy, but you could spend hundreds or thousands out of pocket before being able to assess effectiveness. It's clear where the funds for the vacations they gleefully display on video screens in the exam rooms come from. I didn't like that either. I'm there to get treated, not to see vids of staff members on fabulous vacations I could never afford as I pay top dollar for middling treatment, while at every appointment having to decline buying an expensive decompression package. That combined with their severely limited acceptance of insurance caused me to move on. There are plenty of other options in Sac just as good or better that will work with you on insurance. Oh and I love dogs as much as anyone, but pushing it in our faces to try to humanize yourselves is just too cute and cloying. Enough already. read more

I loved that their location is downtown but has ample parking. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. My first visit with Dr. Lawson was AWESOME. A doctor that is able to adjust my neck is one skilled Chiropractor as I involuntarily resist. Knowledge is power as a customer. I've been going her for 5 years getting my back adjusted thinking all this time that I've been having problems with my hips. Unfortunately that has not been the case at all. They took X-Rays of my back, which DO NOT show the details of what may be happening to your back. The X-Rays only showed that my spine was crooked. After my last adjustment I ended up in the ER with severe back pain almost getting back surgery! The hospital took an MRI and found I have a very severe herniated disk that flared up due to my last adjustment here. I would encourage everyone with back pain to not only get an X-Ray but ALSO get an MRI of your back as well. If I would have been told to get an MRI 5 years ago by Dr. Lawson I would have, but here I am now going to a spine specialist for Physical Therapy and taking serious drugs to keep the inflammation down. Dr. Lawson is a nice guy and I'm sure his intentions are to truly help people feel better with great staff, but I'll be finding alternative means for my herniated disk. I reached out to this business via their online contact form to see if they helped with SI joint dysfunction. I received a call back within the day and was able to schedule an appointment for that week to be seen by Dr. Justin. From the customer service I received on the phone to my actual appointment with Dr. Justin Kamerman I couldn't be more pleased to have found this business! Receiving a chiropractic adjustment takes a lot of trust and I found that from the moment I stepped into the office I was put at ease and the whole process went smoothly. Dr. Justin took ample time to talk with me about what was going on with my back issue before performing the adjustment and walked me through how he was going to help. My issue needed more than one session and I can happily say that after my second session I am feeling almost back to normal! For new patients - only thing I'd recommend is asking if it's possible to fill out paperwork at home to then give when you arrive at the office. It could save you a few minutes in the waiting room and may expedite the time you're in the waiting room before being shown to the exam room. They do have contactless check-in and payment, but this may be something to consider if it's your first time going in. I was in a car accident and referred to Dr. Lawson for my back pain. First the office itself is very welcoming and homey. If you don't like dogs, probably not the best place for you since they bring their dogs to the office. The office staff are extremely nice and helpful. With a baby nap schedule always changing I had to reschedule often and the ladies were always happy to help. Speaking of babies, being a stay at home mom I had to being my 1 year old with me to most appointments and the staff were happy to have her there, and she loved the dogs. On a day that I had to get x-rays, one of the office staff even occupied her in another room! It's not always easy to bring your small child places as not everyone likes kids so I've experienced side glances and remarks at times from other businesses that I've taken my daughter to but not here. We felt very welcomed. Dr. Lawson is great. I really appreciated that he started my treatment by taking x-rays to actually see what was wrong versus other chiropractors who just listen to your symptoms and go from there. He was able to show me exactly how I was misaligned and how he was going to try to fix it. After several months of treatment we did x-rays again and it was so helpful to see the comparison and my progress. I started seeing him in September of last year and I didn't listen after he adjusted me and got me back on my feet. I have degenerative disc disease and lateral sacralization which causes extreme pain to the point of being immobile when it really flares up. If you've ever had severe back pain you know how bad it can be... Enter Dr. Tyler Harrison. I went to see him when I was having an episode and immediately knew I had made the right choice. He was compassionate, caring, and really listened to me. He took his time to ask questions, run mobility tests, loosen a seemingly stuck muscle, and then perform an adjustment. Before my visit, I was at about 10%, and afterward, I was closer to 80%. Not bad in one visit! I really like how he takes a holistic approach to pain, offering far more than just x-rays and quick adjustments. We talked about water, diet, exercise, standing desks, yoga, and ways to prevent flare-ups from happening in the future. So happy that our family chose this place, my mom went to see Dr. Tyler and he did some X-rays and found that her spine had extensive scoliosis and that explained her leaning forward and having chronic pain and interference with everyday living.
