As a doctor (certified and everything) who spends long hours in the lab, long hours in the lecture halls, and long hours cultivating my online university I intend to launch sometime this November (thinking the 14th, if this does not pose an issue for my publishers), I have accumulated a great deal of so-called tension in my neck. I needed a way to alleviate this so as to not experience a breakdown while spending one too many hours building mouse mazes, like the acclaimed Resha Tattle faced in 1968 when she spent one too many hours painting house arrest protest signs on behalf of all rats being kept against their wills inside houses located in the greater Modesto region. My neck could scarcely move when I turned it, something I find myself often needing to do as a fully-functional man about town whose neck was intended to move (as is my head - funny how the human body operates, isn't it). My newly-hired car purchase consultant, whose name I believe to be Vinnie Coye if my mind serves me well, told me that when he jammed his iliac crest during a particularly brutal closing-the-refrigerator accident in 2019, he went straight here and that Dr. Webber fixed him right up. I nodded firmly, clapped him on the shoulder, told him he was a good man, and hopped into my car before high-tailing it out of there. Vinnie Coye opted to broaden my musical horizons by placing a CD by one so-called Harry Styles into my car's CD player. I listened to it as I drove, weaving between cars as needed (hydroplaning?). Musical horizons broadened, wheels revved, myself feeling spurpy as ever, I pulled up to the office. To my ears' delight, I heard Carole King playing in the lobby. With a firm nod, I aimed finger guns at the woman at the counter, who was playing Carole King off her computer (my best guess?). Whilst waiting for my appointment, I passed her a business card. "Hey, lady, did you know that a group of chinchillas is called a herd, and it can contain 14-100 members for social interaction and safety's sake? Dr. Marris Dare." I've gone to a couple of Chiropractors before, and although some of acute issues were addressed. After at least a couple months of visits I left feeling disappointed overall, in either the basic treatment plan of (3x/wk/1 month, 2x/wk/2 months, 1x/wk/3 months). Or the adjustments were more routine and standard versus specific to my issue. And when first starting off looking for chiropractors, I learned not all of them are the same. Some go outside the scope of general practice and I learned of the SOT (Sacro Occipital Technique), and many of the Chiropractors I came across didn't really focus on or specialize in that. Or how even the slightest tweak in mechanics of your body, can be the difference between their being a breakdown somewhere or the body functioning properly. But when I came across Dr. Jim and Pauline Weber, and how they specialized in that (SOT) amoungst several other techniques. I was really excited to to meet them, and see how their treatment would be. When I finally was able to I met with Dr. Jim my initial consultation was about 90 minutes, and in that time he assessed the structural setup of my entire body. And in ways I'd never personally seen or physically experienced before. It's hard to fully describe and you'd have to experience it yourself to fully understand, but with the techniques he had learned. He was able to do various assessments from many different Chiropractic approaches, many including assessing the bodies weakness patterns when something was off. For example when during the standing and laying down assessments, Dr. Jim tested my reflexes, balance and strength at various times; some based on the initial issues I expressed. When doing the full examination he looked for the areas of dysfunction, that were causing the lack of balance and or loss with optimal strength. When he found those area he made the needed adjustments, and then reassessed that proper balance and strength has returned. It was crazy that the slightest tweak in say the wrist, that wasn't apparent to me, altered weather I was slightly weaker or stronger. Dr. Jim was also also able to cranial adjustments via the roof of my mouth, which I'd previously only heard about. And knew of only two other Dr.'s who were experienced in that technique, both of which are/were in the bay area. I never go in feeling like I'm just being put through the motions and can physically and visually notice the difference, when something has been fixed that I didn't even realize was wrong. Best chiropractor hands down! I don't trust many people especially when it comes to certain parts of my body that need to be aligned but when I do I go see Jim and Pauline. They literally "crack" me up!! Haha On a serious note, I've only gone to one other chiropractor and he was great but the knowledge these two have is amazing. Pauline (Dr. Asahara) & Jim (Dr. Weber) are amazing humble people. They have helped me out tremendously with my sciatic nerve pain and a concussion I suffered last year after a nasty fall Down the stairs. They continue to strive for the better and are very humble. Dr. Jim is AMAZING! I am a new patient and he responded within 24 hours. I had a back injury and he cleared it in one visit. I do not have time to sit around and "rest" my back as I am a speech-language pathologist and work with very active children. I've been to many chiropractors over the years for sports injuries, pregnancy + postpartum, and for regular maintenance. I have never come across chiropractors like Dr. Pauline and Dr. Jim. I also bring my kids here. My youngest had a tongue tie that made it very difficult to breastfeed. Dr. Pauline was a crucial part of her recovery and I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. My daughter has been nursing for 15 months now with zero issues since we got her tie released while combining chiropractic and body work! I value Dr. Pauline's knowledge and expertise and trust her. First of all I'm hooked on this place. I work with my hands and out a lot of strain on my neck and back daily. I was looking for a place to relieve some back and neck pressure. I was referred by a friend to this husband and wife duo. I'm so happy I found them. I have been to a few chiropractic offices In my lifetime and it's nothing like this place. Jim usually can fit me into his schedule despite being busy himself. I have a crazy schedule so I usually contact him the day of or day before. He always manages to fit me in even if it means starting his day earlier or later. The adjustment: Jim spends at least 45 mins to 1 hour with you if necessary. He even does cranial adjustments with the help of his partner/wife. It's so fascinating watching them communicate and bounce thoughts back and forth. I feel great every time I go see them. So much so that I'm excited before every appointment. They are both so knowledgeable and I recommend them to anyone needing and adjusting and they even will adjust you for free 24 hours later if you are still in pain. Pros: you don't spend the first 30mins laying on some machine. Most of your appt is hands on and education Price: $75 a visit they do not accept medical but believe me it's worth it. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Weber! I was referred to him in March and, if we hadn't just relocated to NY, both my husband and I would still be seeing him regularly. I went to see Dr. Weber based on referrals from my Bowen massage therapist and nutrition consultant to really help reset my foundation after years of accumulated stress, an unaddressed tongue tie, myofascial tension, etc. It wasn't until AFTER my first visit that I realized how much better I could've been feeling for years! After many years of bodybuilding and lifting heavy I noticed I was experiencing a decline in my performance and strength. I went to this business two months ago. I wanted to get relief from headaches. They came highly recommended by a close friend. Dr Jim, worked on my neck, and head. After leaving I felt sore in my jaw area. It hurt to touch and was inflamed. I called Dr Jim, the next day. I told him of the pain I was experiencing. He immediately responded by saying. He didn't do anything. I expected a different professional approach. I told him exactly were I was having the pain. He told me it was my lymph nodes and to put heat on my jaw area. I have to say that Dr Jim performed magic on me. I was visiting from LA and out of the blue, I threw out my back.
