I was hoping for the traditional "cracking" synonymous with chiropracting, however, Dr Fugitt insisted on using an electrode machine on my lower back. I agreed since he's the professional. Each visit, I'd have immediate relief; however, after a few days, the pain would return as bad as before. After several visits like this, I started asking for a traditional crack, and he finally accommodated my wishes. Things were going ok after switching, but over time, I felt like the services seemed shorter and the price per visit went up, so I opted to go elsewhere which kind of sucks because my factory is right around the corner.

He's also a good listener and takes the concerns and needs of his patients seriously. I think his gregariousness is a way of setting patients at ease, which can only make for a better adjustment. I wasn't sure about the place at first. I was used to more privacy and quiet. But having the roller tables and the treatment tables in the same room works out fine. I get to hear fun stories I might not otherwise. It's a friendly place where a juice bar wouldn't go amiss. (OK, now I'm being silly.) Stephanie is usually the first person you see when you walk in. She and the other staff are friendly and kind. They are very gracious about accommodating unexpected appointment changes, which is awesome! I definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, despite following the recommended exercises, I saw little to no improvement. I voiced my concerns to my attorney, explaining that the treatment plan wasn't working. She then referred me to Dr. Tai at Lighthouse Chiropractic, and that referral truly changed everything. From day one, Dr. Tai was compassionate, attentive, and thorough. He took the time to truly listen to my symptoms and focused on addressing my specific issues. Unlike my primary doctor, who wanted me to continue months of PT before further evaluation, Dr. Tai promptly referred me for an MRI. The results confirmed the extent of my injuries and allowed him to tailor my care appropriately. After a couple of months of targeted treatment, Dr. Tai referred me to a pain specialist to further support my recovery. Now, six months later, my injuries have been properly addressed, and I'm feeling significantly better. While recovery hasn't been easy, my pain is much more manageable, and my quality of life has greatly improved. The clinic doesn't have hot water, which is unacceptable--especially because of COVID--I'm high-risk for severe illness, and this is a health issue for me and everyone else in the office, not just because of covid but germs in general. The intake process was another headache. I asked for the form in advance because I have tendinitis and wanted my husband to fill it out and I also have a lengthy health history. The form they sent was nearly 30 years old, extremely long, and full of irrelevant questions. When I arrived, the receptionist didn't acknowledge me, then delayed my check in so she could finish work she was doing. Twice. The office also only issues paper receipts. Dr. Jeff himself seems skilled and personable, but outdated practices, an unprofessional front desk staff member and the lack of hot water make this clinic impossible for me to recommend. What a huge waste of time and effort.

Explained how everything worked and seemed very knowledgeable (I hope so since they are working with a pretty vital part of your body). I will never get adjusted again, not because she did a terrible job, but because I just don't see the worth in it. After the adjustment I was seen for a massage. The massage therapist is GREAT!!! He (can't remember his name) was very nice, professional, yet made you feel comfortable. After my visit I scheduled a next visit. The day before I had a family situation. I called the morning of the visit (long before they opened) to notify them I needed to reschedule. They called me back in the late morning, the day of the appointment, and informed me if they were unable to fill my appointment time with someone they were going to charge me for the full amount of my appointment. I understand doing this on repeat offenders of canceling with no notice, but this was my second appointment ever with this office. They informed me if I had a credit card on file with them they would charge it (luckily I did not and paid cash for my visits). This was handled very poorly. I understand that businesses have to make money, but I had full intentions of returning to this office and they scared me off by their poor customer service handling. My advice is, if you want to see them, don't make an appointment unless you are 100% sure you will be able to make that appointment.
