Now, six months later, my injuries have been properly addressed, and I'm feeling significantly better. This place is a lifesaver! My husband had some serious neck pain caused by poor posture (we think). Something in his neck and upper spine popped while he was stretching on day, and this brought great pain and an inability to move his neck. The next day, we scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Tai by a referral, and I'm so glad we came. We didn't have insurance that was accepted, but they were still willing to work with us and the pricing was pretty reasonable. After an evaluation by Dr. Tai, he knew exactly what to do. With just a few different moves with his hands, he brought an alignment to my husbands neck. The process was pretty painful, but Dr. Tai walked him through it and made sure he was comfortable. He was very nice and easy to connect to, keeping the atmosphere light and a little humorous. :) My husband saw great results the next day. And in two days, his neck was in greater condition than it's been in months! I would recommend everyone to come see Dr. Tai and take care of the small annoying pains in your back or neck. I've been going here since it was owned by another chiropractor, and even though my original chiropractor moved to a different country Dr.Tai is awesome! He uses a different method than any chiropractor in the area, he does something called meningeal releases which feel weird but will make all your pain go away! I used to have really bad headaches everyday and it affected my work, since I've been going here I almost never have headaches and I feel great. I recommend this chiropractor to anyone I know who is in pain. He came highly recommended, but our experience doesn't deserve one star. Scheduled an appointment for my mom who was paying out of pocket for treatment. He refused to see her which I'm not upset at it was his right, but don't schedule someone for an appointment and then refuse to see them. Our time is valuable too, everything you asked in person could have been asked over the phone and was asked over the phone prior to scheduleing an appointment. Conversation wise rude and ignorant. I was telling him our experience about a certain law group he straight up told me that he doesn't believe our experience. Also said he doesn't want to see my mom and waste his time so he needs to think if he wants to take her as a patient. Told me multiple times that his experience with slavic people is that they chose the least invasive way of treatment which I'm sure is a money issue for him. All of this conversation was held in the waiting room which again I don't mind, what I did mind is that the personal conversation about our case continued after a patient came in and sat in the waiting room with us. What can I say, unprofessional, no ethics, money grab chiropractor that cares more about the money then helping his patients. Very sad. Never going back or letting my mom go there. My mom is a hard working woman that doesn't deserve that kind of treatment. read more

For the past 6 years of my life I have experienced severe lower back pain to the point that at times I could barely walk. Why is he getting a 5 star rating from someone who normally does not give out 5 stars. This business "gets it". It's a small operation, woman at the desk could totally be dubbed a "cool girl" by yours truly. The chiropractor DC is modest and has moulded his craft. His demo is great, his ability to converse is great, and most importantly his adjustment worked for me on the first visit, so much so that I called the next day to say thanks. Is he the best chiropractor? Not sure but he uses an unusual technique (I'll let him explain) mixed with the typical adjustment you get from most DC's. He's not in the most glam area of town but it also shows in his pricing so don't let location throw you off. This guy is strong and knows his stuff. read more

I have been seeing chiropractor's for the last 25+ years for very bad lower back pain. Although the other chiropractors gave me temporary relief, Dr. Tai has reduced my pain level from a constant 8 out of 10 to less than 1. My back feels better that it has in over 25 years. I almost can't believe it. Dr. Tai's treatment of the usually adjustments PLUS the stretches he performs on me have made all the difference in my lower back. I have had back pain most of my life. From getting bucked off of horses, falling down a 14 foot trench in a golf cart to being rear ended 3 times at a dead stop. I was assessed by Dr Tai and went to his his office for treatment because I had lower back pain/neck pain and a concussion from a car accident. He asked questions regarding the accident on first assessment in his office however then he told me and I will quote him " you must come for 20 sessions or the insurance company will not think you are sick" I felt very uncomfortable when he said this to me because I was coming to him to receive treatment for a real injury and I found it very offensive he just cared about money rather than my treatment!!! I was in shock so I didn't say anything to him .....but my gut at that moment was telling me "I should run out the office something just is not right here I feel like a cash cow"!!!I The next visit in the office was a nightmare !!! Right when I walked in the Secratary in front told me she had a cancellation so she said I need to go get a message well with my condition it hurts to be messaged a lot so I told her no thank you or maybe just 15 or 30 min. She put a bunch of sales pitches on me I felt like I was in a tacky used car lot telling me I was going to get over an hour message!!! The message lady came out in waiting room like she was going to grab me up in room!!! I still said no. Just to let you guys reading this tai gets hundreds of dollars every time you get message and you pay it back big time in the end so it is in you best interest to not get those messages your money is better off going in your pocket not yours!!! Anyway I went ahead and went I should not have gone the message is not that great and it was way to long to be in that tiny hot room!!! 30 or 15 min is fine and you save money!!!! It gets worse from here I then went for my spine appointment with tai he had me in the office with the weird red torture bed. He first cracked my neck and it seemed a little rough. Then he went to my lower back. He payed me down on my back and put had me turn to my right side then he had me put my left leg across my entire body. He then put his full body weight on top of my leg which did not crack my back I herd a snap sound and what followed was the most stabbing shooting horrible pain !!!!!! Please do not go to this place you will get hurt he does not know what he is doing I am still in horrible pain and my doctor told me not to go back!!!! I had seen Dr. Thai off and on for the last year and have had nothing but positive things to say about his treatment methods and education on discomfort of my back. I recently was involve in a car accident and was inquiring about a adjustment. I spoke to the business manager who books the appointments and was very rude. As soon as i mentioned a car accident she wanted my lawyers info, i told her i am dealing with the insurance company and I would not be using a lawyer and i had already spoke to the insurance company regarding this. She flat out said it would be better to see someone else. Keep in mind me paying out of pocket is not a issue. I thought I would be able to get treatment from a chiropractor I have been to. Dr Tai is the absolute best! Been to chiropractors since childhood and he is tops, takes away my pain every time, helps me get back to my life, which makes him invaluable. I have often thought to call him and thank him when I am home and my pain is gone. Dr Tai consults with me every time and varies his approach to suit my issues. He also helps me pinpoint what might have caused the problems so I can avoid reinjury, which I find so helpful (i.e. changed my sleeping style, modified workout routine, etc). I also love the diferent tables to help me relax so I can really benefit from my treatment. For me, personally, I find it important that my healer is spiritual and Dr Tai fits the bill there too. I have Kaiser HMO, and I know its insurance limitations. So, when I called the office this morning, I wanted to find ways to work this out. But half-way through my first question I get cut-off as if trying to "convert" them to "the Dark side". I tried to ask more questions, but all I could hear was "We Don't Take Kaiser" mid-sentence. I read many good reviews about this doctor on Yelp, and if there was no way to get Kaiser or ASH to cover, then I was willing to pay out-of-pocket. I never got that far in my phone call. But, now I am not so sure about an office operated by unprofessional and amateurish staff. read more

So... unfortunately my father was in a car accident in Arizona. So serious that I made him come to Sacramento to stay with me so I can make sure he gets taken care of and gets the treatment he needs to get better. Then, a few weeks after my dad arrives in Sacto, my husband gets in a car accident. :-( I wish I was making this up :-( Anyway, I had already started taking my dad to other Chiros, but something was missing. They were all good, but not great, and now that I had to take my husband to a Chiro, I was on the hunt for the best in town! Enter Lighthouse Chiropractic. The reason I chose them in the first place is because they had excellent reviews, and had a full set up; massage, massage table, water bed, heated beds, chiropractic care, and more! I have never personally experienced a Chiropractor that offers full body massage as part of their package. At best, I have only experienced Chiropractor offices that MAYBE have a massage therapist come in once a week, but then the massage is an extra charge :-/ Once my dad got adjusted by Dr. Tai, he was in total bliss! My dad said he felt a relief of tension, and the massage by Stephan? Well... that is the icing on the cake! My husband also enjoys that Lighthouse is kind of a one stop shop too. I found this place by accident thru Living Social. I bought a 60 minute massage + chiropractic deal. Natalia, Ukrainian massage therapist, tall, and slim, had great hands. She showed me a couple of stretches that I can do at home. Tai, a Chinese chiropractor, is genuine and rather excellent chiropractor. In my first encounter I loved both massage therapist and chiropractor and would love to go back. Unfortunately they don't take Kaiser insurance. I highly recommend Lighthouse Chiropractic who needs massage and/or chiropractic therapy. read more

When I first visited Lighthouse Chiropractic Dr.Tai gave me a free consultation and I couldn't believe how low were their rates. But the most amazement was still coming.
