I love it here! The place is affordable, safe, and unique to the town. I love bringing my family and setting up a picnic nearby because you can truly spend all day there. As far as admission goes, you can get a day pass or season pass. A 2.75% service fee will apply to all credit/debit card transactions. The area is well kept and there are plenty of lifeguards around. This especially important since of the water can get pretty deep. Make sure you check the operating hours before going and that you park in a legal spot. They have a large parking lot in front of the facility that is FREE. There are also FREE parking areas all throughout Landa Park. read more

This was a very affordable water outing for some dinner fun. The little Lilly pad was a big hit, the water was crispy and a great relief from the heat, the little childrens area was is great shape considering how much had it gets. Swim Swim Swim! This is a cool outdoor swimming hole and pool! This is a great way to spend a day lounging in the shade, playing in the water and splashing around. The complex has a natural river flowing through it with a river that's huge! The river has a natural bottom, with things to do, such as monkey bars, a zip line, a rope swing, a slide and a playground! The water is often deep enough to touch bottom, but gets a bit deeper, maxing out at maybe 15'. There's also a concrete pond (aka swimming pool), which is Olympic sized, with lane dividers and clocks for swim meets. That's more for lap swimming than the river area. You can bring your own lunch, snacks, beverages, etc. There's a long list of things you can't bring. Be sure to check their website for details on that one. You can't bring any beer in, or styrofoam. They offer drinking fountains and a changing area with showers. The admission price is about $5, which is completely worth it. Parking is ample and free. It gets hot out here, so be sure to pack plenty of ice cold water. Bring flip flops, because the pavement gets incredibly hot, and the concrete that is constantly wet gets a slippery algae covering that can be hazardous. read more

5 stars worth of fun!!!! Great fun for a great price! There are fun activities; a rope swing, a huge slide, and a floating island. There are beautiful huge shade trees and a clear spring fed pool. Our family had a great day. The life guards were attentive and did a good job watching the pool. We brought chairs and a cooler full of drinks and food. Be careful there are lots of bees who want to share your snacks! We sat under the trees and the kids went from playing on the play scape to swimming in the pool. I would have to say the bathrooms were pretty horrible! 1 star. They were dirty and the showers were freezing. But honestly we had so much fun I was able to overlook this short coming. If this bothers you be warned it is very bad! Our kids are already begging to come back! read more

Quaint, fun, and friendly. The family and I truly enjoyed ourselves. Perfect for Labor Day or any day.

This place is great for a day out with the family. It is inexpensive and you can spend hours there. Look at their website before you visit for their current hours and admission prices. Plus, they are pretty strict about their rules. So, don't bring alcohol or Styrofoam, or anything else that they restrict, because they'll make you take it back to your car before entering. The lifeguards here are awesome. Kids and adults are constantly breaking rules by climbing onto things they shouldn't or entering areas of the springs that are closed off. I like that the lifeguards are so attentive here, especially in the children's area as it becomes VERY busy and can be very unsafe also. They also rent out their life jackets for free. You pay a deposit and you only get the deposit back (in full) when you return the life jacket upon your departure. Overall, I highly recommend. Pick a day they're open, pack a lunch, and be prepared to spend a couple of fun filled hours here with your family. read more

This place was incredible! It's divided into two sections. One is pool are with a large swimming pool and a smaller kid areas. Then the area behind the aquatics pool area is river water so it can get a bit dirty but, it also stays a constant temperature (not sure exactly but 65-68 degrees sounds about right). There is a rope swing, a zipline (they could work on this one, it just doesn't function well) and a giant slide, AMAZING. The cement walls surrounding the pool and the side lips that are underwater are super slippery so caution there, but, other than that it was great! The other end has a area for children with a play scape (on dry land and in the water). My 7 year old love it! There was plenty of grass area to sit as well as picnic tables that can be reserved and some on a first come basis. There are a lot of trees for shade. The price was not bad at all. $5 and adult and $4 for kids 12 and under. There are no concessions but, you can bring your own food. No glass and no styrofoam. We showed up at 10am (opening time) on a Saturday in July and there was a line, not to bad. We spent most of the day there and were never bored. I highly recommend this place. There are areas of it that could use some tlc but, it's an outside venue so. The lifeguard staff were great! read more

Last minute drive to Landa Park aquatics. Our first time The water was really cold which felt good out there in a 108 degree day. The kids really enjoyed them selfs on kiddy slide and sprinkle/fountain.Parking was very easy to find and the entrance was not pricey.kids are $4,adults $5 and the honey since he only watched us $1. This place is family orientated you can bring ice chest and own food. They have train rides for $3 bucks per person maybe next time we will ride it. read more

This place is great for children I recommend going to the spring fed pool as its fed by the conal river. Bring goggles and food, and sunscreen, they have a tarp slide zip line and a floating platform to relaxe on. I like to dive to the bottom and collect rocks/shells. There are lots of fish and a decent sized kelp forest that I like to stay away from, they also have a kiddy pool and an Olympic pool, HAVE FUN read more

2 stars for the park; the city has put together an awesome combination of land and water recreational facilities.There are volleyball sand pits, fishing hole, paddle boats, Olympic pool, nature spring fed pool, ponds, canals, tubing, and a choo choo train! The issues are when the outside hears about it and they come and come and come. There is too much alga kick up in the spring fed pool making it difficult to swim freely, people butter( gross), plastic trash. You need to reserve pavilions for large gatherings ;that said there are too many vehicles parking on the grass and their groups over run their area crowding others out. Way too many people way way too too many people. What is much needed are park rangers and increase in fees to regain control the quality of the facilities will require those increases to maintain them as well. read more

The Olympic zoned pool was clean and not at all crowded. Better yet was the spring-fed pool. The slide and rope swing are fantastic, there is plenty of shade, and the pool is large enough that there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The price to get in is more than reasonable. 2nd trip to the natural pool. My first impression years ago was that it was rather dirty, but I didn't really remember it much so decided to take the family back today. The pool itself is ok, except for the expansive algae floating along large areas of the pool water. The kids area in the natural pool has debris floating in the water and mud, decomposing leaves and sticks all around the edges. Also, my daughter came out w red bumps all over her body (swimmers itch, i assume). She decided to give the playground a try ... And the play scape was covered... and I mean nearly totally painted... with bird crap. Not just a little bit on one part, but the entire thing. The bird crap didn't cover the monkey bars where kids put their hands bc little hands have wiped it away. And little legs and bottoms have cleared the slides. It was totally unacceptable for any admission price. I don't have a lot of experience with New Braunfels city parks and rec areas, but if this is how they treat the jewel of the city, I will pass on any other of their attractions. We will not be heading back. The pool at Zilker Park in Austin totally dominates this place in every single way. It will be worth the drive in the future. read more
