Pros: multiple water rides, multiple areas (wave pool, lazy river, obstacle course, kid area, baby…read moresplash pad, changing room, quiet zone), nicely kept, lifeguards everywhere, plenty of parking Cons: you can't bring your own food not even a water bottle just an unopened one, & they open at 11am You can however, leave the park and come back. I saw many people eating in their cars and returning inside. Will definitely be back but only when they have ticket sales. Tickets at regular price for $$$

Friendly for kids of all ages with different sections offering slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and experiences for all age groups. My daughters (ages 7 and 3) particularly loved the kids slide section and the wave pool. I did see quite a few dead bugs and leaves in the lazy river and wave pool which was a little off putting. They have lockers to store belongings, as well as clean bathrooms and changing rooms onsite. They also offer a variety of food choices which are pretty good & reasonably priced. Very few crowds if you arrive right at opening time. I was happy to see there were no lines at all for the slides. They open a half hour early for season pass members; general admission is 11am. Definitely worth checking out for a day of family fun in the hot TX summer!

People leave their stuff all over the tables and then disappear, so you can't sit down anywhere to eat. There is no shade anywhere over water, so you can't wade unless you are directly in the Texas Sun. If you want shade, you have to pay for it by buying lounge chairs or a cabana. The kids waited in line for about 25 minutes for the ride to breakdown; when this happens, they do not accommodate them by fast passing them later or anything like that, they are basically just told tough luck, try again later. A locker big enough to fit a backpack will run you $17.

On the day I visited it was 103 outside by mid day I couldn't take the heat anymore and came here to cool off and get my hair wet I must say it was a totally refreshing way to escape the heat of the day! They have a good number of waterslides here as well as having all of them be completely different from the next one definitely the highlight of the slides has to be Thunder Rapids Water Coaster as it's the first of its kind in North America and wow is it fun I've never ridden a slide like this before and I found it to be super fun as well as Wet and totally unique to anything I've ever experienced before as the technology that created this is totally rad and a great way to knock out those huge stair cases! The ground here can get super hot I mean super hot and that's coming from me someone who's always barefoot at waterparks so make sure you bring some sandals or something to keep your feet cool from the burning cement or just try to walk in the shade and water spots to keep them from burning! As anyone who visits waterparks will tell you coming to one can be a great workout as well as a rewarding time as your climbing lots of staircases and getting some swim action in if you choose to do that wile your inside their huge State Of Texas shaped wave pool. The waterpark opened a bit later than the park but it was all good as it was super hot by then and this was much needed the best part about this is that Gold Pass members can get into the Water Park 10 min early so that will definitely save you a bit of time and get you on a few more slides! Overall I really enjoyed my time here at the waterpark as all the slides were fun and I thought it was cool that their wave pool had its unique Texas shape to it as it made for some fun waves and splashes! Stay cool Wet and amazing good people of the Yelp Community in the Forever Summer sunshine!

Came here with my girlfriends for my birthday. Some of us have been and others like myself have…read morenever been. The pros: to start the experience off we showed up around 1045am (15 min before opening) and there was plenty of free parking, which was amazing! All of us were able to get a free spot and honestly that's a bonus for a place like this. Most places have you paying for parking. Security was quick and easy and the fact you can also bring your own coolers and food and drinks is also amazing as most places do not allow that and force you to purchase their overpriced items. So this was great. I love eating healthy so I was able to feel good about my food that day. The park (we went to both east and west side but spent most of the day on the west) was well maintained and fairly clean from what I saw. The beautiful oak trees and plenty of picnic tables that you could set up your stuff on was also nice. We sat near the river and it was the perfect place to set home base and enjoy our food. Loved how it was also set next to the pool. Whatever playlist or dj they had that day was awesome. 90s R&B was on the loud speakers so that was right up my alley. :) My friend lost her phone in the wave pool/lazy river and someone turned it into the lifeguard and we were able to retrieve it from them. We appreciated the honesty of whoever found it and also to the lifeguards for holding it for us. Cons: the unfortunate part of the trip was the lines. My goodness. Average wait time was up to an hour each ride. We were there from open to close which was 8 hours and we went on 4-5 rides. So needless to say this was a bit of a bummer. For $60 we would have wanted to get more action for our money. This is why I gave the park 3 stars. The workers did seem a little young and also one of them was fairly rude. A friend of mine were trying to get a tube and the worker stopped me and said I'll get it. And then threw the tube at me. ------- To be honest I know there were a lot of reviews from people who have been here from years and years past who are disappointed in the way this park has headed. While it's sad to hear I only know what I know and I'm used to long lines at other theme parks so it seemed pretty on par. However, if this place used to have shorter lines whatever is needed to get back to that would be appreciated and honestly would bring more business to this park as I'm sure people will continue to avoid this place if they have to wait in line 1-3 hours per ride. So I hope management changes things. I could tell some of my friends weren't too happy with waiting in line so long. Over $100 per person for a fast pass is absolutely ridiculous and robbery if you have more than one person in your group. There has to be another way. Thankfully I was just so happy to have a girls day with friends that I kinda overlooked the long line times but I'm sure had I not been in such a happy mood-it would have been a big buzz kill. Overall, I had an amazing time outside the long wait and all my friends said they had a blast so that's a win! Unforgettable girls birthday trip:)

They run through the summer season for a few months daily, then switch to weekends only in the late summer. I would advise getting there as they open to get the best parking - we arrived around noon a couple weeks ago and had to park at a lot that was a little less than a mile away. Not so bad for just the two of us, but a lot harder for those with coolers and bigger groups. The parks are amazing - so many fun tube rides, body slides, and some faster tube blasters that are so much fun! I especially like the double rider tubes in Schlitterbahn east, like the Black Knight. I highly recommend the Fast Pass - it is a steep price but well worth it for accessing more of the rides. We felt like the regular fast pass was more than enough as we didn't have time to access all the rides once throughout our day. We also only visit once per season, though. It's been pretty crowded on both of our recent visits - Saturdays in July and August. I would guess it's less busy during the weekdays. We got to ride the Falls (worlds longest tube ride) on our visit in mid-August but they shut it down for the rest of the season the day after we went. All in all definitely worth visiting at any age and very family-friendly. You can rent a locker for your belongings and some folks keep their coolers on the tables by the larger pool areas. You can bring in food/drink or purchase in the park and they have Dippin Dots!

It was all of our first time here at Splashway Waterpark and we were super impressed! From purchasing our tickets online to getting inside the park things were super easy and breezy. Like everyone else has been noting be prepared to fill out a waiver for entrance when you arrive as each person in your party will need to fill one out (digital/online) and show a QR code of your confirmation before you get access to the park. It was awesome we were able to bring it our own food, snacks, and drinks on our own! I loved this option as we have some picky eaters and drinkers and ultimately saved on costs for us on buying essentials like bottled water and electrolyte drinks to keep us hydrated of course! But don't worry if you don't come with anything as there are plenty of food options and fresh food & drinks for you to order throughout the park. We opted for funnel cakes to boozy margaritas and even pizza too! Rides and features for the waterpark were so much fun and safe. We had such a great time walking around exploring what we wanted to get on and beat through the June heat. Plenty of tubes and lifeguards all around to make your fun even safer and a no-brainer to try all of the rides. We especially loved the cool and semi-rapid lazy river. Their lazy river was wide and feels much longer than other Texas waterparks we have been to. We loved it so much we spent most of our time here. We didn't do any of the campground parking or RV grounds use as we had a hotel in a nearby town to be able to hang out with each other and have some hotel accommodations so I cannot speak to that experience here. Lockers were super easy to use and rent so don't fret about any valuables you have as they will be safe. There are 3 options for locker sizes too that can hold things like wallet & phone only (if needed) or a large bags and ice coolers. We were super impressed with our overall experience and will definitely be back in the next year for sure.

Bought a season pass for the first time last year. Already planning for next summer.

The process of reserving an umbrella was fairly easy online. When we got to the table they had our last name already in the spot I picked. You bring your own decorations for tables and food (they do have food trucks also). Place has so many people - given that Texas is suuuper hot during summers its not a surprise. They have Splashville: with a blue enclosed slide (goes fast since you cant see what tyrns come up next), and more "tame" slides colored yellow and orange. They have a place there over in Splashville where everyone splashes around. Lots of fun playscape type climbing apparatuses (apparati? Idk haha) for you to climb to where you wanna go. Over near middle of park is a little kid splash pad/very shallow pool that you can watch your littlies wade in. There's a short toy train slide they can go up and down on. Over near the left of entrance there's 2 tall water slides: one blue enclosed slide and a green one thats not. They're SUPER fun to go down. Over in the newest section of the park is a big action/lazy river where one can float to your heart's content. Plenty of tables around - your just have to come early to stake your spot so to speak. Overall place is very nice to play around in. There's no time limit and you can get a wristband to come in and out. Definitely coming back for more rock n rivery fun!!

I would definitely go again it's small but also $20 for adults, a price you can beat for fun all day and no hidden fees. 20 is what you pay!
