I emailed Trop Gun Shop and they never even bothered to get back to me. Lanco returned my email within 24 hours and replied to my follow up email questions right away. limited selection of handguns/shotguns, lots of AR's but looks like they can order whatever you need. This place will get the rest of my future business. read more

My son recently purchased a preowned firearm from Lanco and had nothing but positive things to say about the courteous, knowledgeable staff. They steered him in the right direction regarding his purchase, and were open and honest about his new ,vs preowned options. I then pulled up your site to check it out and was taken back by a negative review by Walter D. I couldn't believe all the negative comments he was making , especially after reading all the positive reviews from everyone else. Out of curiosity, I clicked on his icon to see other reviews this person made about other business's . Of about 30 reviews,he had NOTHING good to say about ANYONE. In my opinion,He is a chronic complainer, and a pompous ass. (my mistake) He did have ONE good thing to say about a nurse that fixed his thumb at a Doctors office. (but im guessing it was because it didn't hurt too much to pull his thumb out of his own ass) I had to comment on that review because I hate to see ignorant people bash good business's because of their own insecurities and shortcomings. So if anyone reads this, please disregard Walter D.'s review. He is an idiot. That being said, I am looking for a conceal carry firearm for myself and am looking forward to visiting your shop. I had the same experience with Trop. Sent emails twice about pricing and trigger upgrades. they never responded. Lanco, on the other hand, gets back to you within an hour or so. Very cool people, from the owner, to the staff, to his on-call notary who will meet you at the shop and only charges a few bucks for everything. The selection may not be that of the big stores, but they'll order anything for you. Also, don't judge the shop by the price tags. With price matching, they'll always be the best deal in town. I've been a customer at Lanco for about two years when I first started travelling to Hershey on occasion for personal and business matters. I always like to stop at gun stores when I am travelling since I am weird. I initially went to a rival gun store that was nearby and, at the time, the rival gun store was amazing to go to due to the selection that they had. Lanco was clearly the underdog that was always stop #2 and it was nice to stop in since they always had bad ass cars parked on the street and they had a good selection and good prices. However, as time passed, rival gun store started to have less and less on their shelves (but their home made holster selection never changed) and their attitude towards customers was still "give me your money." Anyway, back to Lanco. I got into the NFA game about two years also but initially through Silencer Shop. I quickly got screwed by Silencer Shop though and I ethically did not want to purchase anything from them again. So if I wanted to continue buying NFA items, my only other option was to find a decent NFA dealer which is no easy task. Everyone who purchases NFA items on occasion understands the difficulty of this, and it is a problem nationwide. 1) Not many dealers will be local to you. 2) Not many dealers will give a crap. 3) Not all dealers are organized. ETC, the reasons go on and small things turn into big problems especially with the 41F buying spree. But I digress. I knew Lanco did NFA purchases and I decided to take a risk and Lanco really came through. Nathan and the team have helped facilitate numerous Form 4s for me, and their service has always been quick. As soon as the Form 3s get back, I get a call to come in for the paper work. (They were more than happy to mail the paperwork to me as well) Lanco made it stupid easy! I highly suggest that if you are able to purchase NFA items, go to Lanco and inquire about it. It is easier than you think! On the non-NFA side of things, the shop is small but it is packed with good stuff. They usually have a great stock of stripped lower receivers and AR parts, The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and his communication is excellent. I prefer to communicate via email and they respond quickly and in detail. All in all, a well rounded place to shop with a focus on customers instead of trying to look cool. read more

Have done many FFL transfers here, bought a Savage rifle, sold a few AR'S on consignment, had sights installed on my M&P bought some AR parts. Very knowledgeable staff, willing to answer any question. Not a huge inventory of used handguns but they get some nice used ones in from time to time at reasonable prices. Rare breed these guys. One of the only gun shops that still cares about the important things. Each time I go in I spend at least an hour speaking with the employees. Each time I seem to learn something new despite being far from an amateur firearm user. The prices are competitive with everybody else but the service is so top notch I try to never go anywhere else when I'm purchasing new firearms. read more
