When I tried to go in the settings it required a passcode. Crystal Air was the company that installed the system so I reached out to see if there is a master code the system starts with in order to set the schedule. Instead of letting me know the typical master codes to test they sent TWO people out to input the original code the system came with. I received a charge of $330. This was a feature I could have lived without. I just wanted to see if they had a code I could put in so I could put the schedule in myself. When I called to ask about the bill, the woman at the front desk told me the owner would give me a call (never heard from him). I'm beyond frustrated being stuck with a bill like this. I figured since they installed the system they would know the original code and be able to help without sending two people and charge a bunch.

After getting quotes from over 10 places, their pricing was the cheapest both times and we were very happy with Dave who came by to do the quotes. He was courteous and answered all of our questions. He also helped us get multiple rebates on the splits that we weren't aware of (and nobody else had told us about). We recently had an issue where one of the splits stopped working and Dave came by that afternoon to replace a blown fuse, free of charge. I am sharing my experience to caution others about the post-payment treatment by Golden State Air Conditioning. To provide a balanced view, the installation process was smooth, and their team was somewhat attentive until they received full payment. However, once the job was done, their customer service became totally unresponsive. Since the contract was signed, attempts to contact them for follow-up or support have been unsuccessful. Despite numerous calls, there has been no response, and messages remain unreturned. It appears that their business model involves providing excellent service to secure jobs and payment, followed by complete abandonment. This situation is frustrating and stressful, and customers deserve to be aware of their post-sale treatment. It is advisable to seek a company that stands by its work and respects customers' time after payment has been made. We've emailed Karina and text Brendon many, many times with no response.
