Lance came out quickly onto the grounds of Indian Wells tennis center and swiftly removed the bees that swarmed onto Stadium Court 1. His expert handling of the bees prevented a number of bee stings on and off the court. He was the hero of the day. read more

Lance truly is the Bee Whisperer. Everyone who put a five star rating here on yelp was correct. The one guy who did not, is a bit suspect to me. He wrote that he is from California, California, and he's the only one out of 31 people who complained about Lance's torn jeans. Lance came straight over here after working all day and skipping lunch when we called him in an emergency and did not charge us anything extra. He charged half the price of what the guy who gave one star complained about, and certainly did not leave until everything was fine. In any case, he deserves his five stars! A total professional, who we would recommend highly in the future. read more

We live in the Bermuda Dunes Area. My wife noticed an increasing number of Bees coming from the eave and roof area around the front of our home. Our gardeners also complained about bees in the same area. We contacted, "Lance Davis - Killer Bee Live Bee Removal" based on his 5 Star-reviews which was a huge mistake. Lance Davis is a sole proprietor. He works alone and showed up in a ripped t-shirt and jeans He estimated the total cost at $1,300 and said he would need $650 to start. We paid the $650 and he immediately started to "smoke" the Bees and remove the roof tiles and tar paper. He tore a large 4ft. x 3ft. opening in the roof and removed a large amount of honeycomb and honey. He then loaded the honey into his truck. He told us he would be back two days once the remaining Bees had settled down and "cleaned up." We never saw, or heard from Lance Davis again. The roof was demolished and open to the elements. After 10 days of fruitless and unreturned calls, we decided he had abandoned the job and called another company to complete the Bee Removal and repair and replace the roof. Lance Davis had ripped open the roof, taken a large amount of high quality honey killed the Queen Bee and a large number of the drones taken our $650 and disappeared. By the way, the Company we hired to complete the job told us that our job was the latest in a series of Bee Removal and repair jobs that Lance Davis had abandoned throughout the Valley. . read more

Lance found the bees in the garage ceiling. The bees were busy working on the several honey combs and protecting their queen. The combs were removed one by one. The bees remained calm as they were extracted from the hives and saved. He explained every step of the process. I enjoyed the bee removal "class" which was the icing on the cake! Lance is the true Bee Whisperer of the desert. read more

Yesterday afternoon when I went out to my carport, I noticed a huge brown object in my front Mesquite tree. It was bigger than a football, and then I noticed what looked like bees flying around it. It literally appeared overnight! I looked around for someone who would remove the bees and hive if needed (there wasn't one) without killing the bees or using any poisons. I called Lance Davis and he said he could come over in about an hour. What a relief! He came over when he said he would and removed the bees successfully and cleaned the tree where they had gathered. What a relief! Thank-you so much Lance Davis! read more

I found a hive in the backyard of my condo. The HOA sent Lance Davis to take care of it. This was no small feat. Lance dismantled the wall, removed the bees, washed the wall to remove the pheromones, relocated the bees safely and lastly rebuilt the wall. I called Killer Bee Live Removal and asked about removing what I thought was a bees nest covered with bees in one of my trees. Lance returned my call promptly and told me that what I was describing was likely a swarm that had landed in the tree. In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, he came to my home a few hours later and sure enough I did have a very large swarm. Lance had a great vacuum based bee cage enclosure which safely removed the bees for relocation. No pesticides. No injuries to the bees. No damage to the tree. He worked efficiently and took the time to make sure all of the straggler "scout bees" were also collected as they returned to where the swarm was as they gradually returned from their missions. Lastly he neutralized the pheromone scents on the tree to discourage any of the bees that got away from returning to the tree. Good guy and knows his business. read more

This guy is truly "The Bee Whisperer" Most CV bee removal companies kill/poison the bees to eliminate the problem, not this company, they remove and relocate the bees so they continue to thrive and improve/complete the environment. The owner, Lance Davis, has honesty and integrity, and is a bee guru, if you will.... Next time you think about calling one of those companies that kill and don't relocate, think about your tea or coffee without honey, or all the other plants bees help pollinate. Highly Recommend! read more

Excellent service and incredibly knowledgeable! He figured out where they were coming from in minutes! Wow! Really nice guy too..

Best company to call when you have bee issues. Lance Davis and his crew are not only expert at what they do, they're very respectful, considerate and kind. I've called Killer Bee Live Removal several times, so I feel I have some good background for writing this review. Lance was great at explaining things and answering not only my questions, but also took questions from the tenants - and kids! I know when I call Lance, someone will be here right away, and they'll do the job right. It's amazing to see how comfortable Lance is with the bees. Yesterday he placed his hand right into the big ball of africanized bees and didn't get stung. Lance provides new homes for the bees he removes. It can't get any better than that! read more

Last March, 2020 Lance carefully removed an African beehive of about 17000 bees and its mother queen in our front porch. The hive was inside the brick blocks so he also removed block by block. Then he had a mason come to put the blocks back. He also sealed many areas of brick columns and eves of the roof. The bees were moved to his bee farm in Indio, CA. After 6 months I can now respectfully say, "Great JOB Lance Davis!" Thank you so much for the great work. I highly recommend Lance if you want to move bees from your homes without killing it. read more

I had a swarm of bees move in under my back patio. I did not want the bees killed as there were many companies that would do that. Lance Davis did a fantastic job of removing a swarm of bees from my house. I was only gone for an hour and came back and there was a large swarm over my garage door. Lance came the next day and removed thousands of bees and even showed me where he thought a hive had been previously, where the stucco had been patched. I learned more about bees from him in a few hours than I ever had in school. He is an expert and he said all the bees would be gone, which they absolutely were. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a bee issue. He does not kill the bees, but removes them. read more

Called Lance Davis to ask for an estimate for bee removal for bees that just entered the roof. He was rude and brash when I asked for his fees for removal. He kept asking me for the address. I'm a contractor and have had bees in the past so this is not my first rodeo. When he realized he couldn't swindle me he called me shady. For reference, I called other local bee removers and they asked me to send them pictures so they can provide a proper estimate. Then I checked CSLB through his name and he is NOT a licensed contractor. read more

Lance is the greatest. He came out the same day I called and went right to work. We had bees in our block wall. I was so happy to find someone that would take them away alive. He had to come back to finis the next day. He came when he said he would and finished everything up. Even gave a jar of his delicious honey and a t shirt! Wall looks great . Bees are gone. You can also get his honey at The Spice Shop on El Paseo. Great experience all around! read more

Bees had set up a happy home in the garage, we could hear them buzzing within the walls -- scary! Lance came over to take a look and set up an appointment for next day. Thanks for making our garage buzz-free again! read more

Lance was referred to me by my Pest Control Company, Truly Nolen. He immediately went to my house the same day to asses the problem and gave me the solution without delay. That kind of service is hard to find these days specially in the Desert Area. We knew there were some bees hanging out in our yard, but didn't know how bad our situation was. We contacted the Killer Bee folks via their online form. They called us back quite promptly. Mike Bonetti arrived to help us out. He found out that we had bee hives in a hollow rock in our back yard. Mike gave us an estimate of the cost, explained what would be done and then we welcomed him back the next morning. Mike worked diligently to remove the hives and bees from our 'rock'. He even gave us some honey for us to enjoy. Thank you so much for providing such a great service for the bees and us as well. read more

We had the best experience ever with Lance. We called him on a Friday afternoon at 5:00pm and he was at our condo within an hour. He came prepared for the job but first provided us a very reasonable estimate. Lance and his assistant immediately took care of the issue as we had African Killer Bees. Many, many of them. They spent easily 2 hours on our patio working their process and educated us along the way. I found them to not only be knowledgeable but very professional, honest and the highest level of customer service that you could receive. My specific cost for this was $225.00 but with his fabulous customer service approach I gave him $300.00. He was worth much more in my eyes. I have referred him to our HOA as a preferred vendor with hopes he gets on our list. Arlene K. read more

I made the mistake of calling another company first. Thankfully we found Lance. The first company fumigated first and then told us it would cost $1800 to open our roof and remove the hive (not including repair cost). We found Lance who explained everything to us, gave us a really thorough explanation, and a reasonable price. He and his team did an expert job, and the only sad thing is that we couldn't keep our honeycomb because the other numpty had fumigated first without giving us options. We are still sad about kissing all that honey goodbye, but we are thrilled we found Lance who completely solved the problem. He is friendly, professional and reasonable. We have already recommended him to others. read more

This was my first experience with Lance Davis and Killer Bee Live Removal. I received a recommendation from a Safety Professional and read other yelp reviews before contacting him. I can honestly say, based on my recent experience, do yourself a favor and call them and not a "regular" exterminator. Like many others before me, I had no clue what was going on (a dozen bees around a covered outlet, what's the big deal?). The big deal was that they had passed through an exterior wall into the "seat" of my shower stall on the other side of the wall. The dozen bees turned into a large hive of about 25,000 bees. The tile had to be removed, board, exterior wall and stucco, I could go on. I would have had to hire a variety of trades people to complete the job. Not with Killer Bee, they got the bees out arrive, made repairs that were so perfect you would not even know that I had the problem. The same tile was used, replaced exactly, grout matched, stucco wall repaired, etc. I feel really confident that I made the right decision. Call Lance Davis, his is the master at this. Thank you! read more
