Can imagine opening your wedding cake just hours before the ceremony and finding that it wasn't decorated? That's what happened to us. To makes matter worse, they not only refused to do anything that didn't even apologize and were rude to the bride. Worst customer service ever! read more

I've now ordered cupcakes to have sent to my daughter at college in Lancaster 3 times. The cupcakes are delicious and cost significantly less than Georgetown cupcakes and taste WAY better! The people are friendly, nice and helpful and I will continue to use them to send yummy treats to my daughter while she's far from home for birthdays, bad days or game days! Love this place!!! YUM read more

I frequent this delightful cupcake shop. I have had all of the best cupcakes I have ever had from Lancaster Cupcake. The flavors are always different and always delicious. read more

My daughter & family live in Lancaster & raved about the delicious Lancaster cupcakes. We live in Cape May & because of covid we haven't been able to see our family so we ordered a dozen cupcakes once & cakes twice for them. No delivery charge until last week. We ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday. Upon receiving the confirmation email, we noticed a $12 delivery charge! Outrageous! When we called, she said the delivery charge was just implemented that week. We should have been told right upfront. We have 2 more birthdays coming up for our grandsons & planned on sending cupcakes, but really not sure now. Very disappointing. read more

Love this place! Previously lived in Chicago and have been on the hunt for a great cupcake place since my favorite closed down! I feel like a lot of the popular chain cupcake joints either have awful cake and good frosting or vice versa. Lancaster Cupcakes is GREAT. Their cake is moist & fluffy and their frosting is delicious. Some things I did not like about other cupcakeries were the greasy frosting that is cloying sweet and dry, rough cake. LC has the perfect mix that is fluffy, flavored just right with a perfect amount of sweet that let's you enjoy the flavor. The cake is moist and holds yummy fillings! read more

Lancaster Cupcake is a personal favorite of my future daughter-in-law's so when it came to her bridal shower how could I not order your sweets for the shower from them? The three flavors were mudpie, red velvet & raspberry lemonade. I initially thought it was a little pricey but after eating them I totally got it. Hard to choose a favorite but the raspberry lemonade is to die for. If you got a chocolate crave the mudpie will end it & the red velvet is the best red velvet I ever had. I order at the MOUNTVILLE store & found them helpful, friendly & provider of a good quality product. Would I recommend them to a friend, definitely! read more

I had an opportunity to try these cupcakes. These had to be the moistest and tastiest cupcakes I've had ever. Delicious!

The cupcakes are so so so yummy !!!! I've been to the location in the mall before and Jillian was a great help! She really knows what she's talking about. read more

My husband and I popped in to grab our dessert early when our restaurant down the street had a long wait. We picked out a 4 pack, and I won't speak for my husband's tastes but I had the strawberry champagne and blueberry lemonade and both were absolutely delicious. The shop itself is nice and clean, decorated very lovely. They even have an adorable kids area set up with the Melissa and Doug kitchen and bakery. read more

While generally speaking I'm sort of over cupcakes, I just had these and they were delicious delicious delicious! Extremely moist and the frosting had a great flavor. Go get yourself one! You won't regret it. read more

Ran across this cupcake place as I was walking around town. At first I was hesitant to pay $3 for one cupcake, especially because they are homemade size. But I saw they had birthday cake and had to try it. My husband isn't usually a fan of my birthday cake obsession but he said this was his favorite funfetti cupcake yet! The cake was super moist and the best part about it was that even the cream cheese frosting had sprinkles in it! The case that the cupcake came in was super cute too! Will def be going back to try more flavors. read more

I had met with one of the event coordinators at the Granite Run location, taste tested the different cupcakes they had and placed my order the following day. That coordinator had left and I didn't know that, but it got sorted out. Everyone enjoyed the cupcakes, they tasted delicious. Depending on miles, delivery is that much more worth it, one less thing to worry about getting yourself. read more

Lovely presentation, but cupcakes are WAY too sweet. You'll definitely need water or coffee nearby to even get one down because of the sugar....you know, like when you eat some really sweet candy and have to wash it down. For those who like just a little amount of cupcake to a large amount of icing, this is the place for you. I'd say the pile of icing on top = the size of the cake underneath, and since they aren't big to begin with, you're getting a huge pile of super-sweet icing in every bite. Won't be back, which is a shame since I love a good bakery, but with all that sugar, it's hard to actually taste the flavors. Flavors are enhanced and become richer with sugar, but when the sugar is dumped in, it kills any flavor and the only thing you taste is, "sweet". read more

Can't imagine a better cupcake. Super moist and not overly sweet. The shop was also super cute & staff was friendly and attentive

Such a cute cupcake shop! Their layout is stunning and the cupcake flavours are fun without being too eccentric. I got a Mint Chocolate cupcake and wasn't able to eat it until later that evening, but it was still good after being in the car for most of the day! They are very accommodating to give you a cupcake to go, even if it's just one. They also have deals if you want to get a multi-pack of cupcakes, since you'll probably want to try them all. read more

Best. Cupcakes. Ever. We would've tried more if we had not just not eaten dinner down the street. They apparently were also on The Food Network, a channel I watch often and don't remember them being on. Regardless very good! read more

I have been to the downtown Lancaster shop and been to multiple weddings where Lancaster Cupcake provided the cupcakes and they never disappoint. You know they are good cupcakes when people hover around the table and go on and on about their favorite flavor and try to convince people to try "their favorite." My favorites are the carrot cake and "late-night snack." read more

Best cupcakes I've ever had! Also had delicious tea! I wish I didn't live so far away so I could go more often because they are a seriously delicious treat. Everyone should try them because they definitely won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped by on First Friday to bring home a little treat for the kids. The line was out the door but moved super quick and even with the volume they were handling the staff was smiling and polite and efficient . I am not a sweets person so I thought the key lime cheesecake might be yummy. Delicious is an understatement. So worth the trip downtown, in fact looking for my next excuse to be there. read more

Could compete with DCs best cupcake establishments. Each one is a work of art both in appearance and taste. They also have a cupcake truck and the kind driver gave me a cup of free coffee on a very cold day and subsequently created a fan for life read more

Delicious cupcakes! I love that they are normal sized and have a reasonable amount of icing. Many specialty cupcake places have their icing larger than the cupcake, which is already large to begin with. Lancaster Cupcake's ratio is spot on. Plus, or dog loved the "pup cakes". Yum for the whole family. :) read more

The best cupcakes in Lancaster! Sweeter and more moist (sorry) than Sugar Whipped, their main competitor in the area. We've been here multiple times for different occasions and have never been disappointed! read more

I just got cupcakes here for the first time today (at the Mountville location) and they are amazing! But the main reason I decided to leave a review is because there was a boy (maybe 15 years old) and two women in front of me in line, clearly family, and they ordered a dozen cupcakes. When the boy pulled out his own debit card to pay for the cupcakes, the woman behind the counter told him that she thought it was so sweet that a boy his age would pay for the adults - and gave him an extra cupcake of his choice for free! Great experience. read more

Yes. Just yes. Fantastic cupcakes. I've had half a chocolate coconut and half a chocolate party and I've said "wow" about 5 times.

WOW, my 1 star review from January is suddenly completely missing??? Customer appreciation & service much??? NO!!! AGAIN, as Christmas gifts, my daughter reserved 3 seats for herself, me and her Grammy for the rainbow/unicorn cupcake decorating class. When she did make the reservation, the description DID indicate and word for word... "Reservations are required. $32 per person. Cost "INCLUDES WELCOME BEVERAGE", instruction, 4 cupcakes, and basic decorating materials." We believed and were looking forward to our "welcome beverage" which WAS indicated as being INCLUDED in the reservation! The cashier said no it is not included although again it was advertised as included and absolutely should have been honored! AGAIN, I DID post a review in January re: our DISAPPOINTMENT by NOT receiving what WAS advertised and paid for, I DID contact Lancaster Cupcake to express our DISAPPOINTMENT and NOTHING at all from anybody and now my first review is gone!!! Apparently Lancaster Cupcake does NOT care to address, honor or compensate customers' for FALSE advertising as THEY are making the profit NOT WE who pay for what we believe to be true and is NOT!!! read more

So if you're thinking about having a wedding in Lancaster, I highly encourage you to skip the expensive wedding cake and instead hire the Lancaster Cupcake truck. It was a huge hit! Our guests were blown away. First of all, it just looks cool to have a food truck at your wedding. And cupcakes are so much tastier than wedding cake. We did 4 flavors: the Peanut Butter Oreo Chocolate, Strawberry Champagne, Red Velvet, and Tiramisu. They were all awesome. And then they throw in a small wedding cake as part of the package, so you have something to do the cake cutting with. Lancaster Cupcake is the best!! Thank you!! read more

Lancaster Cupcakes is the cutest little place! Cupcakes are amazing and they can't get any prettier! You need to get there if you haven't already. Staff are always friendly and it's a feel-good-place! Love Lancaster Cupcake :-) read more

I love Lancaster Cupcake! While in PA this past weekend I visited the Orange Street store. What a wonderful happy place. There was a party going on in the Party Room, there were children playing in the kids kitchen and all the tables were full with people enjoying their cupcakes! What a great place to go to while in Lancaster, PA. The cupcakes are fantastic! I had their Mocha Study Buddy. Best cupcake ever! A moist cake with great chocolate flavor. I ate the chocolate covered coffee bean first and that just added to the depth of mocha flavor. I brought home their Coconut, Chocolate Raspberry, and Carrot Cake cupcakes. All traveled well and were very delicious 3 days after visiting, My Granddaughter absolutely loved her pink frosted cupcake. ( the chocolate raspberry ) I will definitely go back the next time I am in Lancaster, PA read more

Not from the Lancaster area, on a whim I stopped here to buy a dozen as a thank you gift and a dozen to bring home for my family. 2 dozen cupcakes cost $59 and $3 to park. Not super happy about the cost I still left w my 2 dozen cupcakes convinced I had been ripped off for 12 normal sized cupcakes. Ive been to Georgetown Cupcakes and other shops and honestly have never been impressed or a cupcake lover. Until now. My husband and two daughters crowded around our $30 box of cupcakes. Peeled back the lining, cut it into quarters and immediately was impressed w the appearance of how moist it looked. But the taste - WOW! Hands down we all agreed best cupcakes ever and we could only seem to eat 4 of them between the four of us. Perhaps the box really was worth every cent. read more

Customer service from the truck to the store on orange street is great, happy and just makes me smile too :)! Yesterday I got a dozen cupcakes from the truck and my favorite was the vanilla and Oreo one, the crust on the bottom on the oreo was a delicious surprise!! The bacon one was WAY too sweet for me surprisingly. I'm excited to try more flavors! Is there green tea in the future? Fingers crossed! read more

The Cupcakes are GREAT!! The SERVICE was exceptional! Cassidy and Charlotte were warm towards guests even though the store was technically closed for about 10 minutes. The outstanding service and undeniably delicious cupcakes solidifies Lancaster Cupcake as a "must-visit" while in the area. read more

Cute, clean, spunky shop with fantastic cupcakes. They have limited selection in vegan/gluten free options but they are stellar. My husband ordered several of the fun flavors and said they were all delicious. Icing is light, size of the cupcake isn't nauseating and quality is the centerfold. Expect to pay a little bit more because you aren't at the Walmart bakery... read more

BEST cupcakes I've ever had (seriously). They are always so moist inside and the icing isn't too sweet! They have a huge variety of UNIQUE flavors that they change up each week so it's not always the same flavors all the time. I could eat an entire dozen myself. The service is great and the inside of the place is so cute and welcoming. read more

Love the cupcakes. Sometimes cupcake places have the icing so sweet we wipe it off, but not here. Perfect. Just moved to PA In April, we have had three visits here. Including once to pick up a wallet my daughter left behind. The held it four days before we back tracked her steps enough to locate it. Ohio ID would never have found us here. Honest people, excellent cupcakes. read more

These cupcakes are certainly not the best I have ever had. They were very small compared to the cupcakes I have purchased previously from other cupcake shops. The store is of course, adorable, however there were limited flavors. We purchased 6 different cupcakes for a small birthday party and 2/6 of the consumers enjoyed the cupcakes while the others were not pleased. read more

Stopped in here while walking to the apartment I was staying at for a business trip. Very clean store, the two young ladies at the counter greeted me right away and were very friendly and genuine. Had a great selection of unique cupcakes, had a hard time making up my mind.- they offered some free samples. Got the 4 for 10 special. Was going to give them as a gift but I ate them all-they were that good! Had to avoid walking past here so I didn't eat the whole store- if it wasn't raining right now I'd be running up the block before they close for some more. read more

So delicious!!!! Flavors change and are always amazing. Staff is very friendly. I am not gluten free or vegan but I love their GF and V cupcakes!!! They are amazing and you can't tell the difference. Makes you feel slightly less guilty for eating a cupcake for no reason on a random afternoon. read more

DELICIOUS!!! I ordered cupcakes for my wedding and they were the talk of the event! They were all absolutely wonderful!! I would recommend Lancaster Cupcake to anyone! The staff was wonderful and they do an amazing job!!! read more

The employees seemed a little above everyone. We were asking questions and it was like a hassle for her to answer them. The cupcakes were small and overpriced. I would not return. read more
