Was quoted $75-128 for a lockout service. Then after the service was completed was told $128. I agreed to that...then was charged $168. I have called multiple times and am getting the run around. It's a simple fix but they seem to not be able to do the right thing. They need to be reminded that they are a service provider and treating the consumer right should be a priority. read more

I hired this company after responding to a Facebook ad under the name "Go Easy Handyman." I was quoted $199 in writing for a garage door spring replacement, including labor. After the work was completed, I was charged $472.07. The final bill included additional charges (general maintenance, cables, higher labor, and a service call) that were never disclosed or approved beforehand, and I was not presented with a revised total before the repair was completed. The invoice I received was not from "Go Easy Handyman," but from "LAN Locksmith Services," which was never mentioned during the booking process. That added to the confusion. I am not disputing that the work has value. My concern is the lack of pricing transparency and communication. When I asked for clarification, I did not receive a clear explanation. I also attempted to call two different phone numbers associated with the business and was unable to reach anyone; one line routed to an automated assistant without a direct response. Customers deserve clear pricing, consistent business identification, and the opportunity to approve costs before work begins. I would strongly recommend getting a detailed written total upfront before agreeing to service. read more

I called this locksmith services because I lost my keys to my car. The first time I called they said they could help me call me when they're on their way so I waited and called. I called three different times and gave them my information again and they kept telling me somebody would call within 20 minutes nobody ever called. They left me hanging all evening but no help and then I called back today which is Tuesday and they tell me their service which I don't understand why they couldn't tell me that in the first place. read more

This service is a complete joke! How do you justify a bill of $291?? They take advantage of someone in shear panic and over charge them! That equates to $20 a minute for 15 minutes of work! I don't think many professions make that a minute! Stop the insanity! read more

I had a fab done by lan locksmith service and the key stopped working in 3 days. My fab doesn't lock or unlock my door. It doesn't cut off the alarm when I use the fab. They keep saying they will fix it but keep hanging up on me and nobody came yet. read more

A handle broke off my storm door and I called LAN to see if they could repair it. A technician showed up within half an hour. He had no identification and I should have asked for it. It took probably less than 15 minutes to repair the handle. All he did was attach the handle, not a new one, no other work done and it cost $280 and he would not take a check or credit card. Fortunately, I had that amount of cash in the house; usually I don't. He texted me a receipt but the company name is not on the receipt. NEVER again would I use this company and I agree with other customers. They are scammers, crooks. They were listed among the top 10 locksmiths in Louisville. They need to be taken off that list. read more

Needed 2 key fobs for used car I just purchased. While the dispatch operators were rushed and rude on phone, the service technician they assigned was excellent (Gal). He provided a reasonable estimate before I booked him. He showed up early to appointment the next day and completed work promptly and professionally for the exact amount of his estimate. I would use Lan again for this type of locksmith work. read more

crooks. scammers. I was locked out of my car this afternoon, so I walked to a local coffee shop who graciously contacted a locksmith for me (evidently, LAN Locksmith). the technician arrived 40 minutes late, worked about 12 seconds, and then charged me $230!!! outrageous. read more

I needed a fireproof box unlocked and a spare key made, as I have "temporarily" misplaced the only key. Explained what I wanted to the office dispatcher, the tech on the phone, and the tech in person. No problem they all said. Took my box outside and when he brought it back in, the box was open because he had drilled it open. Can't make a key and blamed me for not being clear on what I wanted! I refused to pay them, their attitudes in trying talk to a real person to resolve is impossible! I would give them a -10 if I could, that box belonged to my mother who passed away a couple of years ago. read more

I clarified the price of $59 on the phone before having the locksmith come out. Once they arrived, they informed me that the price was $150--the fee to drive out was apparently $100, despite being in my neighborhood already. read more

I called them because I didn't have any keys to my 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The guy out there and he never told me a price. As a mechanic I'm pretty sure that I knew more than him, he did a lot of stuff wrong that I ended up having to go back and fix. And then payment time came. Guess how much it was? $620. For two flipping keys to an almost 20-year-old car. This crap is outrageous. They took my entire effing paycheck. Oh, and did I mention there was no receipt? This place is a very obvious scam. Don't ever use them. read more

One of my service tech's called me today to tell me he locked his keys in his work truck. I instructed him to call pop-a-lock but he called this company instead. The service person he spoke to told him it would cost $90 which I thought was pretty expensive. But we have schedules and I needed to get my guy back on the road. When this company's representative showed up (after an hour and a half) he charged $143.10!!! To unlock a small truck in the same town? Slows service, shady pricing, and I will never use these people again! read more

( 3 ) three hours late, which they blamed us. Even after they advised they are on the way, yet again /over an hour late after calling. ( Can't make this crap up ) for a total of three hours to arrive. Man finally arrived in a family vehicle. Upon arrival he attempted to replaced locking device on one ( 1 ) steel security door. Took him over three hours to complete this task. ( being that he had no tools to complete kid and wrong housing part for said door, but still attempted to place and repair with wrong part/ unbelievable ) After calling another employee ( possibly owner ), who had right housing part, it was final done. At a price of 380.00. People do yourself a big favor avoid this company. They are horrible and overpriced. You been warned. Oh! No receipt given. wanted to charge $100 for less than 5 minutes of labor, talked it down to $60 which is still extremely excessive given that turns out to about $600 an hour for the 10 minutes he was at the house. Couldn't just replaced the lock for less instead of rekeying it. read more
