I've always been accustomed to seeing Western Medicine Doctors. Unfortunately, in the last few years I've found myself being prescribed many pain medications and tons of others drugs that basically masked my pains. I felt helpless and hopeless and just didn't know where to turn. My daughter started seeing Dr. Shawne and told me I should make an appointment to see if she could help relieve some of the pain. I had been very apprehensive about trying acupunture just because my experience with western medicine and had lost faith and trust in doctors. It took my daughter months to convince me to go in. Eventually I agreed to give it a try. She scheduled an appointment for me and I'm so thankful she did. It's been over 2 years since my first visit and my life has never been the same. Dr. Shawne is a miracle worker. Her knowledge and healing abilities have been life changing. She has been able to give me back my life. I no longer take any pain meds and only addicted to coming in weekly, yes weekly. I always feel calm, relaxed and my chronic pain is minimal when I leave this office. With my conditions, it is imperative that I continue my treatments weekly to control my symptoms which is unfortunately caused by a bad neck and back. Surgery is just not an option I'd elect to have. However it was at another establishment and for no specific complaints other than being curious. This particular situation was due to shoulder pain that I suspected was due to nerve impingement from sleeping on my side and I thought I'd give acupuncture another try. After the initial needle sticking, I found myself drifting off to sleep. I was comfortable and Dr. Li checked in to make sure I was ok. She then asked me if I was interested in cupping which I did want afterwards. If you've never experienced cupping, I would check YouTube, you will get bruising and it may look like an octopus gave you a series of hickeys but I recommend it after acupuncture. I felt so relieved after the session and felt a marked increase in range of motion on my shoulder/arm as well as decreased pain. If you're looking for alternate ways of pain relief than popping pills or home remedies, I'd try this establishment.

Well ....former great reviews went to he** in a handbasket…read more I did not receive any notice nor did Simon Chiropractic (unlike other businesses I deal with they did not bother to check my insurance coverage starting a new year and so there was a lapse and it fell through the cracks.) I ended up owing or was billed for $60 and since neither of us knew anything I asked if they would do the Solomonic thing and we would each cover half .... $30 each. 50/50. They refused and stuck me with the entire bill. So needless to say their services will no longer be needed. (But the crazy thing is they didn't save $30 they lost $100s if not $1000s by losing a client!) (If I feel that I'm treated unfairly by any business regarding any issue and I give them a chance to redeem the relationship and they don't - I'm gone.) Plus I find it very unprofessional to be at the counter much less be a chiropractor wearing a nose ring. I've never seen that in my 50 years of chiropractors. Chiropractic is my front line of healthcare so.... it matters. Look professional for crying out loud!
