Most of the inventory looks semi-used. The light fixtures are ok, but on average not the best quality. Prices range from affordable to expensive. They do have a sale section with lower priced items that seem reasonable. They don't normally update their inventory or have new designs. This location is fairly empty as far as customers go, so it's easy to shop. I did have a bit of an annoying experience when it came to checking out I must say. Other than that - worth stopping by here once in a blue moon. read more

Came here looking for a torchiere floor lamp and there are so many options!! Claudia helped narrow down a few items and we decided on the Kathy Ireland Mullholland style. It was perfect and for a great price too with a sale going on. Very bright and elegant looking. I loved how fast we found the lamp we wanted in 30 minutes! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I just love this store. Also, when we got home, we realized there was a chip on the lamp. I called the store and they were very efficient in handling my replacement order. Best service ever!! Definitely recommend this store for all your lamps needs! I need to Yelp The Lamps Plus Outlet for absolutely exceptional service, beginning when I walked through the door of the store, and culminating with a great installation experience at my home. First, let me talk about Lighting Consultant Lourdes Guerrero. She is the best! She greeted me and asked if she could help me. I told her I was looking for a ceiling fan. She kindly gathered my specifications, and helped me narrow down my search. Importantly, she offered me choices that were a good fit for what I was looking for. She demonstrated the fans, including the attached light's illumination level. Then, voila! Together, we narrowed it down to one unit, the Minka Aire Concept II 44" white-on-white ceiling fan. It was just perfect for my needs. And, it was one of the new versions of that model with the LED lights (stable, bright, cool, long lasting, and extremely economical). She also enrolled me in the company's Rewards Program and said to contact her for any future needs. So, to sum up my impressions of Lourdess: Courteous, caring, professional, knowledgeable, attentive, personable, willing to go that extra step to provide the ultimate in customer service. What more could you want? The installation date was made for a few days after my purchase, on a mutually agreed upon date. Artin, the electrician, and his associate (sorry, I don't remember his name) arrived promptly on the installation date. Both Artin and his partner struck me as being very courteous at the door. I showed them to the room in which the fan was to be installed. They immediately got to work and finished up in short order. The fan works perfectly and is perfectly balanced. He installed a new light switch I had bought (the fan won't work correctly with my old dimmer switch), and asked me if I wanted him to attach the remote caddie to the wall adjacent to the switch. I said yes. So, I had a perfect installation experience. To sum up my impressions of Artin and his partner: Friendly, soft-spoken, polite, knowledgeable, no-nonsense workers, efficient, professional, take pride in workmanship, go the extra mile to make sure the installation is tweaked precisely to the customer's specifications. I went to Lamps Plus on Sherman Way in North Hollywood and got mediocre service. They only had one of a lamp I wanted on sale, but said the Chatsworth store had 3. Drove all the way to Chatsworth, and found the lamp wasn't for sale there. Sherman Way had it for sale because they only had one left, but didn't explain that to me. HOWEVER, Robert, the Chatsworth Store Manager, was wonderful. He said they'd make it right since I drove all the way from Burbank. He got me my two lamps at the sales price, was courteous and professional, and engaging. AND the Chatsworth store was So Much Better (service and inventory) than Sherman Way.
