I have been there yesterday with my customers. I dont really like the selection, There are plenty of stuff but if you are looking for something particular it is very hard to find it. Their online selection is much wider and better (specially if you are looking for something which cost more then $1000). Most of the stuff they have is cheep and quality is not that great. (it is good for that price thus) I really love the customer service there. All guys were nice and patient with us (we spent there almost 3 hours) and they always were trying to help and showed us plenty of the great chandeliers and wall lamps. They are not greedy and if you are placing a big order ask for a discount. They gave us really good prices. I like the store and come back for sure. read more

I have been a customer since the 90's and my last experience will continue my loyalty even more. The motor of my ceiling fan went out. I found the same one at the Chatsworth store. Employee Mr. M Ali found my information of the purchase. He saw the manufacture had a lifetime warranty on the motor. He advised me to return the motor of the one at home and he'd replaced the part. It's a large parking lot in an industrial area on Plummer. I think there's about ten customer spots up front and it's usually packed. Are all the other cars in the parking lot their employees? Anyway, it's a very large store with a large selection of lamps. A lot of hanging light fixtures, track lighting, etc. I was actually look how for some wired plug in puck lighting. A nice lady came out to greet me and showed me what they had. Not too many... Mainly battery operated ones. Some hard wired ones, and one that had s remote dimmer control. She showed me the one on display...it was pretty dim. Didnt buy anything for now, but I'll be back for something else in the future. 2017: bought a bathroom light fixture.... very happy. 2018: Bought a dining room chandelier.... out of stock... shipping this to me for free in about a week. I bought wall lights for my master bedroom for $259 in June 2012. They barely lasted 5 years. One doesn't even work at all and the other one has a faulty switch (it keeps turning). I paid a lot of money for junk. Customer service is a joke because they only warranty their expensive products for one year. Live and learn. read more

In the middle of this quagmire has been Charles P. He has helped us out immensely trying to negotiate with Hinkley to make these fixtures live up to the quality that Hinkley should be. I've been purchasing lamps and other misc. home deco since 1987. My home is all lamps from this location. In recent years I've been ordering online without a problem. I've always loved shopping here. Most recently I purchased a floral arrangement and it arrived not as pictured. I took it back. The store manager helped with the return and entered all kinds of info into the system. He walked over to a printer retrieved a piece of paper handed it me and walked away. I'm thinking okay whats going on here. I had my receipt with the return, I payed cash and I've been given a piece of paper. ?? When I mentioned that to the manager I was told I would get a check sent to me. ?? Again, as he walked away. Wow! They have my return, they have my money and I have a piece of paper. What's wrong with this picture. As of today, I still don't have my money back. It would appear that I will need to contact the Better Business Bureau to get my money refunded. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

If you have a chance go visit the showroom so you can get an idea and purchase the lamp at Amazon/Wayfair/Out Of Stock. What an experience I had. I have gone in Saturday to make my purchase and promise to have it delivered on Tuesday or Wednesday. It was shipped and received on the following Tuesday, the only problem was it was the wrong address 25 miles away from where I lived. How in the world it gone to the wrong address Lamp Plus was at fault or FedEx (FedEx had to get an address from Lamp Plus). I had a great sales person very helpful and friendly I brought about a little over $1,600 worth of lamp and bulbs. Three times I gave my address and it was understood. Even on the receipt said to be delivered to my current address. I was suppose to have an installer put a lamp next Saturday, now I am going to a rabbit hole dealing with FedEx and I don't recommend using them over (I have to wait for 3-4 days so they can trace the packages). This is a third time I have wrong delivery service from FedEx. In any case you may find better customer shipping service and better prices elsewhere. I will never shop with Lamps Plus again or recommend them or dealing with FedEx. I lived about 20 miles away from the Chatsworth store. I wished I reviewed Yelp first. read more

Great customer service there. Then I went to Lamps Plus in Chatsworth because Claudia Velasco had physically checked and told me to come on in for the 1 that they had in stock. My 5 stars is purely based on this very kind women named Chandra Haddon who is a sales rep at this location. She helped me find everything I needed and more. I did not appreciate some of the other workers in the store much. One sales rep I met at the door prior to meeting Chandra greeted me and I asked him to search for chairs he showed me a few I did not like so I asked for more options. I noticed he went missing and that's when I met Chandra who was way in the back of the store who noticed me searching and assisted me. The other rep was juggling and after I selected a couch from Chandra he came back around and tried to steal her purchase I asked for the manager to let him know she actually assisted me on the item and I would like her to continue. I left with almost 1500$ worth of goods. Chandra is A+ in customer service and the store truly needs more workers like her. I don't want to complain but I noticed the other workers not very friendly to her. I asked how long she's been working at the store she said she was fairly new. I don't know if maybe it's because she's new to the location but other sales reps were trying to take items from her that I wanted to buy claiming they had customers who were purchasing but were not in the store and the items were on the floor not tagged as sold. I suggest that the other workers learn how to work as a team and support this great, kind, friendly and super professional women. I hope someone upped level grabs attention to what I am writing because customer service is key! If I used my verified platforms to complain I don't think the store would like the feedback. I was recommended this place by an employee at Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH). I needed a chain & carabiner to provide additional stability & support to a chandelier. OSH didn't have it. But, this place did. This place is simply a wonderland of lights & comfy furniture. I didn't have the time to wander around, but I will the next time I come here. The employee who assisted me was quite nice. He found the right color & length of chain & carabiner. Simply perfect (I hope). I am a satisfied customer. Parking is a tad bit tiny.
