Wish I could give "0" stars. Awful place and very rude proprietor. They treat people like garbage.

I was sent multiple dispute forms to fill out to which they kept telling me they did not receive. Finally everything was refunded but this was such a time consuming and unpleasant experience that I would never stay here again. Aside from this, the rooms were not very clean. There were visible stains all over the furniture and floors. There was also dried food on the dishes and utensils.

However, we are giving this hotel 1 star for the following reasons: Severe Understaffing: The hotel was clearly understaffed. One employee was left to manage the entire breakfast service alone, and housekeeping was lacking--likely due to the same staffing issue. While inconvenient, this alone would not have prevented us from returning. Unjust $500 Smoking Fee: The real issue was being charged an exorbitant $500 fee for smoking in a room where no smoking occurred. The hotel's sensors falsely flagged my hair dryer as smoke--a documented issue with certain hotel sensors. I was staying with my brother and my 12-year-old daughter. Neither of us smoke, and I would never allow smoking around my child. Poor Customer Service and Lack of Management: I immediately called to dispute the charge and was told to fill out a form since the GM, Derek, was unavailable. I was told he would be in Monday, but when I called, he was not. I called again Tuesday and was told he had already left for the day at 1 PM. At no point was management available during a busy holiday period, and the front desk staff were dismissive and rude. A hotel operating during holidays should have management accessible or at least ensure issues are addressed promptly. Unprofessional Handling of Dispute: Derek denied my claim twice, despite evidence from both myself and my brother. His only response was repeatedly sending the same report, showing a lack of willingness or ability to resolve the issue. His absence during critical business hours and failure to assist customers reflects poorly on his leadership. I will never stay at this hotel again and will share this experience widely. I expect a full refund and will escalate this matter to corporate. My family will do the same.

When we checked in, our newborn was 8 weeks old. We had to extend multiple times and even forgot once (as you can imagine with working full time and having a newborn) and they always helped us out when we needed it. Everyone on staff at the front desk, the kitchen, maintenance, and cleaning were so kind and welcoming to us. We were going through quite an ordeal (for two months) with trying to get our house fixed, raising a colicky baby, and still trying to function as human beings, and they made coming home each day so much easier. We have two cats (one diabetic) as well and as you can imagine, and we couldn't leave them in a pet hotel because of their medical issues. This place takes pets as well and it made our lives so much easier knowing they were safe and able to be taken care of there. They made sure we were able to stay even when our insurance kept extending us (with very little notice), and were always courteous and helpful. I will always recommend this place and its staff!!! Thank you to everyone there, but a special shoutout to Dale, Audrey, Harley, Caleb, Edan, and Daryl for all their kindness and hard work.

Also, I have gone for the last four years and have never had issues with mice or any other rodent or animals as stated in a previous post. I think it's so unfair how people can post things about a business they probably are not true. So unfair to the small businesses.

My friends and I were so excited for our stay at Wee Casa. We reserved the Sequoia house, unit #2,…read morewhich was a 4 bed accommodation so each of us would have our own space to sleep. Our visit had some hiccups--and the only reason this review went from 2 stars to 3 is that they returned 1/5 of the amount we spent on the reservation as a concession. When we walked in initially, the wow factor was high. The place was so cute and had high quality features like granite countertops, gas stove, fun wavy laminate floors, and big french doors out to the porch. We enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking cocktails and chatting for hours. We noticed a couple cleanliness issues when we first arrived, like a dirty floor and some leftover relics from the folks before us--a single wilted flower on a bedside table and dusty toys and a children's book under the bed. Our enthusiasm truly diminished around bed time when I pulled out the couch to find excessive mouse droppings all over the sheets, blankets, and pillows. Since it was pretty late when we discovered this, two of us elected to share a bed in the loft, hopefully away from any further rodent discoveries. The next morning we were told by the front desk that the mouse issue has never happened before, which I believe, but regardless it was clear to us that our unit had not been thoroughly inspected prior to our arrival. For the price, I would expect a more thorough cleaning of the entire space. We are pretty confident we won't return to Wee Casa.

A bunch of little things that add up are probably why we'll look to stay elsewhere in the future. Almost every review from even a year back complains about the Jacuzzi not working. It was down our first night, along with the pool, and was not available until 6 PM our 2nd night. Both were FREEZING. No heat to the heated pool, no heat and barely any jet power in the hot tub. Very disappointing. This was AFTER maintenance. The breakfast buffet does not get filled nearly enough during its opening hours and the coffee pot was constantly empty. We were there at 7:30 on the weekend when the breakfast opened at 7, and there was 1 bagel remaining, no plates, coffee pot was empty, a few muffins were available but gone in the next 5 minutes. Some things were never replenished the whole 45 minutes we were there. The 3 hot dishes were refilled, but none of the bread items. You snooze you lose, literally. If they're understaffed, I'm sorry for the one woman we saw doing her best, but it was frustrating to see that within the first 30 minutes a lot of people were going to have to settle for what was left. It was this way our first and second mornings. We had four guests and were given 3 bath towels, two wash cloths, and 2 hand towels. The conditioner pump bottle in the shower was empty. They sell laundry soap in the lobby but unless you're on the second floor you wouldn't know there's a laundry room. No signs in the lobby. No chair to sit in while the washer/dryer is operating. The clock's battery was dead in the laundry room. Just a bunch of things that individually aren't huge, but what else gets ignored or overlooked? It makes me wonder. It was "fine" overall but I will try a different place in the future to compare. If there was a 3.5 rating I would have chosen that, not a 4.

On Saturday July…read more19 we were coming home very late from a Baby Shower/Family Party about 90 minutes away and the sensor wasn't working. We were carrying two sleeping kids (6 and 4). We went downstairs, the manager was helpful in getting us additional key cards, in which they didn't work again. Going down another time, we got another batch which did work finally. The manager also told me they were going to put a work order for fixing the room door sensor. In the morning, we were awakened by a phone call saying that the technician needed to come fix the sensor. We said OK thinking the person could just do it from outside the door. However, about 30 minutes later, the technician said he needed to come inside the room to fix the problem, which was an issue for us because my wife was naked coming from the shower (and now couldn't come out to change), and both of my children were still sleeping. The technician was understanding, but he was also upset that the front desk management had not warned us earlier that he was coming. I don't think it's right to jump into someone room like this, yet alone this early in the morning. This is why I'm leaving this review here.

I settled on Longmont and found this Holiday Inn Express for a decent price. First the bad news: when anyone closes the door or walks across the carpet anywhere near your room, you hear it or feel it. But that's the worst of it. That's why I gave it four stars and not five. This is a terrific hotel. The breakfast offers many choices, from oatmeal to scrambled eggs and sausage to an automatic pancake maker. The gym is small but offers dumbbells, an adjustable weight bench, and various cycles and treadmills. The pool is small but indoors. The room is spacious and well-designed. The housekeeping staff isn't always as reliable as you want (for instance, the shampoo bottle ran out and wasn't refilled), but the front desk is responsive and helpful. (i sought help from the desk twice, and each time the desk clerk themselves came and delivered within minutes.) It served as an excellent home base for our trip. Just down the street is Sprouts, where we went to stock the fridge with water and fruit. There are also restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. If I could, I would rate this hotel 4.5.
