This hotel offers mini suites with a small desk and sofa area separated from the bed. It set up so both areas can share the TV. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They don't offer bottled water in the rooms so you have to bring your own. They offer a hot complimentary breakfast which had the basics and was pretty good for the basics. They gave us room 135 which is at the end of the building, right next to the laundry - which was very noisy. Will ask for a different room if I come back. read more

Stayed here for a week. They were mid-renovations and I was sad I didn't get an updated room. The beds were comfy but I wished for better pillows. Spacious rooms had a large desk, gigantic couch, and kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave. Breakfast always had waffles and some sort of hot egg dish. Service was meh. read more

Absolutely wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast included fresh coffee, juice, fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, English muffins, bagels, and biscuits/gravy. This was the first time I traveled without my infant, and the front desk staff was able to place my small cooler in the freezer to freeze my breast milk and keep it frozen until my departure to the airport. We had a terrible stay! While the staff was nice, the hotel itself along with its location is awful. No bedbugs, luckily, but as I checked for them I could see between the mattress and the headboard was filthy with crumbs and hair. There was also hair in the shower. The walls are *paper thin*, to the point that our neighbor's snoring woke us up! I could hear them yawn in the morning, and hear every word they said. I've never stayed at a hotel with such horrible sound proofing. Doors slamming all night, people walking in the hallways, talking - you could hear it all, loudly. To top it all off, there's a train that comes through multiple times in the night and wee hours of the morning, blowing its horn the entire way through. Needless to say we got no sleep here. Housekeeping and front desk were lovely people, no complaints as to the staff. read more

I stayed here during my business trip, just 3 nights. I got in late at night with my boss, and it was quiet at the hotel. There was a young male staff at the counter, and he quickly checked us in. He told each of us where our rooms are, how to use their complimentary wi-fi, and the breakfast hours. There were some complimentary cookies (chocolate chips and oatmeal) at the counter for guests, which was nice and welcoming. My room was on the second floor. Right at the entrance facing the door was a little kitchen area, equipped with microwave, mini fridge, and coffee machine and mini sink. To the right was a living room with sofa, coffee table, and desk on the other side from the sofa against a wall. On the other side of the wall was a bedroom, with nice king size bed. The bedroom was not that big, just enough to fit the bed. The bathroom was a decent size, and clean. I just wished if there was more place to hang the wet towels after being used. There is only one elevator, and it was pretty slow... make sure to give your self a few extra minutes in the morning if you are in a hurry or on a tight schedule. The breakfast was minimal, just the basic stuff like eggs, fruits, cereals, breads, home fries and sausage. Nothing fancy. There were also some yogurt and milk in the fridge. The coffee machines are by the front lobby counter, which is the opposite side of the breakfast counter... Kind of odd placement, so if you wanted breakfast and coffee, then you need to walk from one side to the other. The staff was helpful and polite, and for a short business trip, they had all the basic needs. They also have a gym and pool, which I didn't use, but I heard not many guests use those amenities. The price is good and affordable, and it is located close enough to Boulder, without the price of Boulder hotel. They don't have restaurant inside the hotel, but there are a couple of restaurants nearby, walking distance. Not the best places to have great food... But if you really need some food, they are ok. Overall, clean, friendly, decent hotel with all the basic needs, with no frills. read more

My first visit to Longmont and I stayed at Spring Hill Suite to stay with my colleagues. Overall, it's a good property with great service and amenities. However, if you are looking for a location that provides a good workout gym, I recommend looking elsewhere. A relatively new property with a great suite (room), service, and amenities. Two rooms allowing for a place to work and a separate room to sleep. Plus: - Great service and amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee maker in room), great breakfast - Location - close to walking path which takes you to Oskar Blues Minus: - Gym - inadequate. Small with only two threadmills, two Elliptical, and one recumbent bike, one adjustable bench with dumbbells from 5 to 30 pounds. Ugh. Disappointing read more

My company was hosting a job fair from Springhill's meeting room the last two days and it went off without a hitch because everything was organized and the staff always checked in on us. Great service! I love the vaulted ceilings in the rooms and my bed was SO comfortable!!! Soft, fluffy pillows and a firm mattress is what I need. I don't like my mattresses too soft because it's horrible for my back. Any hotel that has bacon on standby in the mornings and moist cookies in the evenings, WINS! Thank you Springhill, Longmont!!! This is a nice little hotel situated between Longmont and Boulder. We run into rooms and stay just one night. Overall, we had a very nice visit. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The check in process went very smoothly and they are able to help us with additional keys and late arriving guests. The rooms were surprisingly well appointed. They appeared to be up-to-date and had all the amenities that you would expect. The furniture seemed to be in very good shape This location had the standard breakfast. The only issue was that the actual breakfast serving area was quite tight, with guests running into one another. The dining area was pretty nice, but could've been a bit larger. We also used the pool/hot tub, which was nice, but could have used a cleaning. We will definitely keep this one on the list if we are in the area again. read more

The leadership of this location is disengaged. I am a Marriott rewards member who stays on these properties exclusively. I booked a room here a month in advance and had to cancel 2 weeks before the arrival date. I was told that because I am a rewards member I can get no refund. I spoke to the GM and asked for a one time exception since I am a loyal member. She would not call me back and would not budge. What poor customer service. I would not recommend staying at this property since it is clear the customer does not matter. Update: I am trying to work with the GM on getting a refund. She agreed and now refuses to respond. She also promised a measly 1000 stars to my account and has not followed thriving with any of it. Where is the zero stars. The GM is dishonest and will not call me back. She is stubborn and refuses to offer any type of customer service recovery. I suggest finding a location with an engaged GM. She won't last long. read more

Stayed here for a week with my girlfriend while she was here for business. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious; more than enough room for the two of us. They even have pretty high-quality sheets and lots of pillows, just like at home! The staff is very friendly, eager to make small talk as you come and go. Free breakfast every morning is nice. The location is pretty good; as close as you can get to Boulder without paying Boulder-prices on everything, and nearby all the chain restaurants and big-box stores in Longmont. We paid ~$100/night during October. Free wireless internet is great, allowing me to sign on to Yelp while lounging around the room ;-). If you didn't bring your laptop or printer, they have a computer in the lobby with free printing, as well! My main gripe would have to be the housekeeping; they weren't bad at all, but they were just inconsistent. Sometimes they made up the room at 9am, sometimes at 11, sometimes at 1:30pm. Wouldn't bother most people who are gone all day and only here to sleep, tho. Exercise room is decent; small, but never anyone there. Pool is almost as small as the exercise room; also, never anyone there. read more

Staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered at a hotel. Room was very nice -- the living room area is quite spacious. Nice mini-fridge and microwave. Decent sized closet with hangers that weren't welded to the bar. TV rotates to face the living room or the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi was good enough to watch Hulu flawlessly. I was on the third floor and didn't have any noise issues. Excellent view of the mountains from my room. The only negative for me was that the bed was too hard, but a lot of people probably like it that way. Breakfast bar was well stocked with eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries, hashbrowns, juice, milk, oatmeal station with a variety of toppings. Saturday there was a make-your-own waffle station. Breakfast was much better than I've seen at other hotels. Also there's a decent sized seating area right by the food stations. Newspaper in the lobby every day. We just had a terrible experience at this hotel. During our 2-day stay, they replaced the carpet in the hallway on our floor. The entire hall was filled with a large team of workers all day, removing and installing carpet, using strong-smelling and probably toxic glue. Apart from dodging the workers, we had to stuff a towel against the base of the door to keep out the toxic fumes. That a decision was made to replace all this carpet while guests were staying on the floor totally blows my mind - it displays incredible disrespect and disregard for the guest experience. Someone needs to be fired or sent back to hotel management school for some serious retraining. read more

I was very disappointed. They don't provide pillows for the stow away bed, so we went down to reception to get a few. They only had kept one stocked down there and we had to wait in our room to get our other one. I have always found it very frustrating at these hotels (different locations) to have bedding but no pillows after a long night and getting to the hotel very late. The breakfast buffet area is awful. There is a wall right next to the area, making it feel like a small hallway. It is not only very hard to get around, but there was no food. I saw three people monitoring the area, yet there were no forks, napkins, etc... They also do not have a very large variety of drinks. I was just very disappointed in this hotel overall. read more

I've stayed here a few times this year and was happy with the hotel each time. It does get pricey during certain times of the year, and during those times it will often sell out. The breakfast in the morning is simple, but filling. On the weekends they have waffles that you can make on the timed waffle iron. The hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants. The drawback: the walls are thin, too thin. I can hear my neighbors tv, the neighbors talking, the neighbors on the above floor walking, the room doors opening and closing; it's disappointing! I was here for 3 nights, each night with different neighbors. Came back to my room after a long day to find out my key card didn't work. Front desk re-programmed. When I opened my door, someone else was in there and all my stuff was gone. A 2+ hour ordeal waiting for the manager to come and find and replace my stuff that was taken. After all that, not even a free stay as reimbursement. Very unprofessional and the manager is rude. Stayed for 2 weekend nights attending a nearby festival. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable. Property amenities were all very good, clean, and well maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly - everyone from the front desk to the room attendants to the staff in the breakfast area. The front desk staff helped me with a faxing issue I needed to be taken care of quickly - all with a smile and no charge. Hotel is very nice and has amazing staff. Location is also good if you want to visit Boulder and not pay their hotel prices. There are many restaurant within 3 miles radius. The housekeeping ladies are really nice and fast. The pool is small but is never anyone in there so you shouldn't have a problem. This hotel also has a jacuzzi right outside the pool area, however is very hot right now and the jacuzzi being hot is not a good idea to get in it at this time a year. We stayed here for 3 separate nights while visiting family in the area. We were on the front side of the hotel for 2 nights, and it was very quiet. On the back side (one night), we could clearly hear a train, but it only came through once in the early evening, so this didn't disturb us. It was very clean and well-maintained. There are restaurants withing walking distance. There is a pool, but no hot tub. There is also a lounge area outside by the pool area if you wanted to sit out and get some sun. The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast: pastries, bagels, eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. There is coffee and ice water available all day, which was excellent for me. This was a great stay, especially due to the size of the rooms. It's nice to have a good-sized sitting area when you have 4 people in a hotel room! read more

Was here for business. Clean rooms, nice staff, decent breakfast. This hotel would be marked much higher but there is an issue with noise from adjacent rooms as the walls are very thin. I also heard people walking around upstairs and the vibrations were pretty annoying. Next time I visit this area, I might check out one of the adjoining hotels for comparison. read more
