Puccio Electric installed an electric range for me, and saved me a ton of money by realizing that I didn't need a full electric service upgrade. They recommended a less involved job of just wiring in an extra electrical socket for the new range. Special shout out to Tony for the helpful frog. I owe them my future business and will be calling them again.

I had a challenging wiring problem (undetectable via instrumentation due to metal in walls) that my first electrician refused to fix, but Puccio was able to resolve (although it took two visits). While at my home, I also had them address some minor issues (e.g., 1 outlet replaced, 1 junction upgraded to light switch) in addition to the main wiring problem. The team was friendly, professional and cleaned up after. They told me up front what their hourly rate was and warned me in advance what the total cost might be. The final bill reflected that rate/estimate (and minimal materials cost with expected hours) so I feel they are very honest. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are expensive (initial visit / 1st hour is about 300$, but less after that), but I can tell you that a good electrician is very hard to find and they are worth it. If you have an urgent problem or are on a tight budget, you may wish to look elsewhere, but if you want excellent electricians and are patient, use Puccio.

He was here for the day (About 8 Hours) and moved outlets, added outlets, changed a fixture and gave me an estimate to upgrade my panel. Issue 1: Without asking anyone, Seth drilled through a brand new flat rubber (EPDM) roof to install conduit. My builder was onsite and after was not happy. Then he improperly installed the rubber cup (aka witches hat) to seal. This was outside exposed to rain and ice and obviously would have filled. I had to ask Seth to remove that conduit. Then asked my roofing contractor to come back and repair the roof properly. Issue 2: Seth left an open panel inside an unfinished area of the basement with 15' of wiring exiting the panel and laying on the floor. The wiring used to run my 240VAC irrigation pump. I had to remind him (see pic) about this the day before the final building inspection. He fixed it. Issue 3: Seth added the new outside panel, but never added the 240 VAC breakers for the pump! Seth says I asked to have the original line removed but did not want a new line to my pump...somehow. Did he ask? Does that make any sense? The pump saver is 12" from the panel. Today I asked Seth about the missing 240VAC circuit. Seth "is too busy". This last bit is why I am writing a review today. Root cause: Making assumptions without asking.

I used an online home services site to search for an electrician and Chair City Electric was the first company listed and they had a 5-star rating. Good start. Within minutes of submitting my request, Hugo from Chair City called me. I explained the issue and he said he could be at my house within 30 minutes. Within minutes of reviewing the fixture, he knew exactly what was wrong and offered two alternatives to fixing it: one would take less time (if it was feasible) and therefore would be less expensive; the second option was more complicated and although it would cost more, it would likely be more successful. We decided the second option would be best. After a couple of hours of working in the stifling heat of the attic and in the bedroom below, Hugo had the problem fixed. He patched the ceiling as needed and thoroughly cleaned the room. He even vacuumed the floor AND the tarp that was covering the bed. He also used a hardwood floor cleaner to clean any debris from the ceiling that was on the floor. Hugo was personable, courteous, professional, and showed me once again why it's good to call someone who knows what they're doing rather than try to fix it myself. Highly recommend Chair City Electric.

I was getting a new vehicle and needed an EV charging point installed. Along with this I wanted some additional sockets setup (mix of 110 and 220v) Chris came in surveyed what needed to happen, figured out the most efficient way to get it all done and was here bright and early. His work was super neat and very well done. He thinks about stuff and explains on what he's going to do and why (eg: length of cord he is going to run and making sure things aren't a trip hazard etc). Plus he also examined my sauna and made some suggestions, re-arranged breaker panel to make it more efficient. As an aside the man's smart and made some real estate moves when he was young (yeah, I wish I'd done that. I was street racing in my youth years!) Learned some interesting stuff. All in all, a great experience.

Rarely was there a full week of work performed, and that meant the project dragged out for months when it was supposed to take 7 weeks. By the time it was completely finished it was about 4 months. The work itself was great, the number of back and forth text messages to get it done, quite frustrating. An exhausting experience. Expertly done, however, you must have extreme patience. I have been trying to get Chris to come back to do one more thing, and have given up on that now, because he could never fit it into his schedule. That's unfortunate. I trust his work. It is sound, for sure.
