Brad squeezed me in last minute to figure out the problem and set expectations on the size of the job. Because it was the weekend, he scheduled me for the first thing on Monday morning. The job required cutting some holes to get the wiring through but he patched everything up without leaving the holes exposed. This was a nice touch and completely unexpected/welcomed. Happy to recommend Brad for any electrical work and he'll be the first person I'll call for my needs in the future.

We should have asked up front about his rates, but other services have offered it up front before agreeing to come out, and we got complacent and ended up with a $400+ bill for 'weekend' rates. It just like it was a surprisingly high bill that jumped out at us after he did the work. That's on us I suppose, just be prepared to spend money, and don't hire on the weekends or after 4PM if you have the time to do so, in order to save some money. Can't really speak to the quality of work, since what he did was fairly simple, though his expertise did confirm that a replacement was needed.

He was great at communication, showed up when he was scheduled, cleaned up, reasonably priced, and just pleasant to deal with. If you are looking for an electrician - I would give him an A plus. I had a full plate at work and needed someone I could trust to handle work at my parent's at a triple decker in Dorchester--rewiring, service upgrades, and some tricky situations in an older building. Clean lines, code-compliant work, thoughtful problem-solving. They treated the property (and the tenants) with respect, communicated clearly, and did the kind of job I'd put my own name on. If you're a homeowner who doesn't know where to start or even another tradesperson looking for backup you can count on--this is the electrician to call. Solid work, done right. The light in the garage was flickering in and out like a creepy scene out of a David Lynch movie. My husband's and my eyes widened in horror. What it would take to get an electrician out to our house on a holiday? Was this a major problem with the electrical panel or was this faulty wiring in the wall? Was this a fire hazard? How much would this cost to fix? We crossed our fingers and called Nick, and he answered the call right away. He was very reassuring, and explained to us that it might be an electrical problem outside the house. He asked us to reach out to National Grid and to call him back when things were back up and running. Nick was right. A neighbor's tree was rubbing against the power line attached to our house, and the electric company was able to address it right away. (National Grid gets an honorable mention here for the quick response time.) We called Nick back to thank him and he appreciated us closing the loop. This is a rare instance where I'm giving a company a 5-star review for a service they *didn't* have to provide. Nick will be the first call we'll make when we need a helping hand!

He made such a positive impression on us for that experience that we've reached out to him for home electrical needs since the remodel, and he's been an absolute joy to work with. A few things i want to highlight: 1. Responsiveness: Dave is quick to respond and readily available; this is definitely not the case with many electricians (or contractors, for the matter). I also appreciate that once you've done business with him, he keeps you in his contacts - having a pointperson to go to who knows your house, particularly for the ins and outs of circuitry...SO helpful. 2. Professionalism: Dave is always very courteous when entering our home. For example, he is aware we don't wear shoes in the house; he's always thoughtful and asks us about expectations + puts on booties when in the house. Super helpful, given I have little kiddos running around. Another example - we had a piece of glass on a lighting fixture break in the install. Dave replaced the piece, no question asked, no cost to us. 3. Quality of work: Like I said, 4000 sqft of lighting is a lot of lighting (and electricity). We've had no issues, and honestly he was helpful in those early days when we were figuring out what the right thing to do for our home was. We even had him working with some newfangled technology (smart home stuff); he did it with ease and we're super happy with the end-product 10 for 10, happily continuing to work with Dave, and happily recommending him to all friends and family.

We had overhead lights hanging from bare wires, no grounds in any outlets, switches that didn't always work, and dangerously old BX cable throughout the property. The main front stairwell had no light at all. Tony and his crew installed an upstairs service panel, removed all the BX cable, pulled new romex, added workboxes throughout, added new outlets and switches and replaced existing outlets and switches, and so on. They added completely new kitchen lighting, including under-the-cabinet lights. This was a big job and Tony and his crew were here full-time for several weeks. We now have modern, safe, and reliable wiring throughout our home. This work was done about six months ago, and we've had absolutely zero problems afterwards. No callbacks, no hidden issues, none of those unpleasant surprises that so often reveal themselves a few months after the contractor finishes. He delivered everything we asked (including handling all the necessary approvals and permits from the town), and gently guided us through some decisions that we hadn't considered. Tony graciously handled the complications that always happen in renovation projects like this. Tony and his crew were trustworthy, easy to work with, and professional about everything they did. My wife and I both noticed and commented on the top-notch crew that Tony brought with him. Best of all, the work was done on-time and on-budget. I highly recommend Tony, and we'll continue to use him whenever our properties require an electrician.
