The stylist who did my hair was breathing heavily and coughing on me and now I'm sick. It was…read moreextremely gross. I should have said stop before she started but she should've also said she could see I was uncomfortable and stopped before she cut. I was physically flinching. Why was she working if she was coughing ON people? Wear a mask if you're sick. Forget pandemic stuff. Wear a mask or don't come in if you're sick! A sign about warning is everywhere and isn't usually about the STYLIST being blatantly sick. It's rude, disrespectful and selfish. Shame on her for coughing on her clients and thinking it's okay to do that. I'll take my responsibility for not saying anything as well - I'm sick I have the consequences of it. But I'm also not going to be quiet about it either.

I can't believe how RUDE I was treated today. Although I usually don't play the race card it truly…read morefelt as if it played a factor. I called around noon today to get an appt for my ends to be clipped. I was told my "appointment" was at 4:30pm. I arrived at 4:22pm and was there for a few minutes before either of the two ladies even greeted me. Finally the lady in the front asked me if I called ahead and I told her yes I made an appointment for 4:30pm. She then told me the lady in the back would be right with me after she finished her current client. I said ok and sat in the waiting room. At 4:35 another client came in and the lady in the front was preparing to take that client. I POLITELY said "excuse me I have a quick question, do I have an actual appointment or is it a call ahead situation" she replied, "There is no exact time, it's more of a call ahead situation" I replied "Oh ok, I was only asking because I have to get to work soon" She then takes the client and the client says to her "I guess it's one of those days" I looked but decided to let it go since the client is irrelevant to me. I didn't know what I said for her even make that statement since I only asked a question about the process. But ignored her and continued waiting. *SN: I am from New Jersey and the SuperCuts I usually go to has actual appointments, so I'm used to making an appt and being seen at my appt time Back to my story...I'm sitting there waiting and the lady in the back finishes her client and heads to the register to ring him up. While at the register the client, the lady in the front and the lady in the back are all discussing him coming back to get his beard done next time. He asks for a card so the lady in the back goes to find one, while trying to find a card the lady in the front says to her something along the lines of "hurry up" so the lady in the back responds "Patience is a virtue" and the lady in the front replies "Tell that to the lady waiting" THEN the lady in the back replied "She can wait" I was appalled to hear them discussing me as if I wasn't SITTING RIGHT THERE! So I grabbed my purse and left! I know you're thinking they may just be rude not necessarily racist and that may be true however it just seems odd that there were other non-black customers roughly 3 or 4 who were talked to with respect and treated kindly but when I asked a simple question about my appointment time I'm labeled as "impatient" and told that I can wait. They are lucky I prayed today and decided not to let them see my inner "Angry black woman". I wanted to go off but decided to be the bigger person and take my business elsewhere
